Dairy Queen brings back fan-favorite Blizzard for a limited time. Here's when
A beloved Dairy Queen Blizzard treat is returning to menus in time for summer.
Fans can get their first spoonfuls of the Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard starting Friday, June 20, according to the Minnesota-based restaurant chain.
The hand-spun treat is a digital exclusive, available to order online and on the DQ mobile app for a limited time.
'This playful summer classic features Oreo cookie pieces, gummy worms, and fudgy crumble blended with our world-famous vanilla soft serve,' Dairy Queen said in a June 16 news release.
Pricing information wasn't immediately available.
The treat will briefly join Dairy Queen's join summer Blizzard menu, which includes:

The Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard will be available for a limited time, though the restaurant didn't say for how long.

Marchand said they went before Game 6 for good luck. The Panthers won 5-1 a day later to take the Cup. 'It's incredible the moments that you look back on and at the time you don't really appreciate what they could mean at the end of the day,' Marchand told reporters Friday. 'The first time we kind of went as a group to Dairy Queen, we were just going for a walk. We wanted to walk off our dinner and have Dairy Queen for dessert and it became this huge organic moment in the playoffs. ... Those are the things you look back on and you have fun with.' It has been a nonstop party for the Panthers since winning the Cup, with trips to the famed Elbo Room bar to interact with fans, a team dinner at a Miami restaurant on Thursday night — one where tennis great Martina Navratilova, who just happened to be having dinner in the same spot, got to sip from the Cup — and a slew of other appearances. Marchand had 10 goals and 10 assists in the playoff run for the Panthers, who won the Cup for the second straight season. Bill Belichick emails show why Jordon Hudson was at fateful CBS interview
There's now more clarity surrounding Bill Belichick's infamous April CBS interview in which Jordon Hudson made an extremely awkward cameo. WRAL News, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based outlet, obtained emails from UNC through a public records request that answered some of the lingering questions about Hudson's role in the UNC head coach's interview and her influence in their relationship. The interview was arranged for Belichick to promote his new book, 'The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football,' but things took a turn after the 73-year-old was asked how he and his 24-year-old girlfriend met, as Hudson interrupted and shut down the question. 'Jordon was present at the CBS interview because David Kass, the Simon & Schuster publicist, was not there,' Belichick wrote in an email elaborating on Hudson's role at the interview and within the book. 'I included Jordon in the book acknowledgments because she was a creative contributor to the book, including having the idea for formatting the 4 special pages in the book.' Adding fuel to the fire, Belichick said CBS had set up a camera on Hudson, who deliberately sought a spot to sit off-camera — this was how the viral moments of Hudson were captured. Throughout the nightmare that became of the situation for Belichick and UNC, alumni were even emailing the university with their concern surrounding UNC becoming a 'laughing stock in the sports world because of his young girlfriend.' With all eyes on the relationship and the program for quite some time, Belichick's messages read, 'I don't want to make a wrong move here,' after the interview, as he and the university devised and later released a statement on April 30 to clear the air.
