Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has confirmed his role in King, the upcoming action-thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Siddharth Anand. Speaking in a recent interview, Ahlawat shared how he came on board the project, revealing that it was Khan himself who intervened to make it happen. According to Ahlawat, director Siddharth Anand was initially hesitant to offer him the role, considering it a smaller part following Ahlawat's performance in Jewel Thief. 'SRK sir had been thinking about this for quite some time... But Khan saab being Khan saab, he said, 'I'll talk to him.' Now who could say no to him?' Ahlawat recalled.
