Nur Fazura says no plans to date after divorce from Fattah Amin

23 Jun - Even though she is single again, actress Nur Fazura recently said that she has no plans to find a new man for the time being.
The actress-entrepreneur, who spoke to the media to promote her new song, "Luar Biasa" recently, said that her divorce from actor Fattah Amin still felt new despite them calling it quits eight months ago.
"It hadn't crossed my mind to find a replacement. I think it is too early to be thinking about this since the divorce still felt new," she said.
Fazura admitted that she received a lot of well-wishes from fans who want her to find a good man and that she appreciated all of them, but that now is not the time.
"My focus now is only on my daughter, Nur Fatima, as well as the business that I am managing," she added.
As to whether she has been approached by any man, Fazura smiled and responded, "No. Honestly, I am happy, at peace and relieved with life now. I am comfortable with the current situation."
Fazura and Fattah ended their marriage in October last year after seven years together.

After over 20 years, '90s Malaysian girl group Elite to hold first solo concert this September

KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 – Popular 1990s Malaysian girl group Elite are reuniting for a solo concert in conjunction with their 30th anniversary. This will be their first solo concert in over 20 years and is set to take place at Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on September 20. Organised by Icon Entertainment, the Elite Live '25 concert will feature all five original members — Abby Abadi, Azza Zawari, Linda Rafar, Watie Sadali, and Sasha Saidin — taking centre stage this September. According to Linda, the decision to hold a solo concert came after the warm reception they received during the GenKRU concert at Axiata Arena in May, where the group made a surprise appearance during one of the four-day shows. 'Actually, we were a bit nervous because, as you all know, it's been quite a while since we performed live together, especially on a large scale. 'When we received the offer from Icon Entertainment, we had mixed feelings at first but eventually agreed to it. 'This was after taking into consideration that some of our songs are still favoured and relevant, and we want to party with all our fans — both old and new,' Linda said. Formed in 1995, Elite was the first act signed under KRU Records. Over five years with the label, they released several albums including Catwalk, Tamparan, Idola, Selamat Tinggal Teman, G.I.G, and Merbahaya. The theme for Elite Live '25 is Catwalk, and fans are encouraged to dress their best as there will also be a red carpet session. Tickets for Elite Live '25 will go on sale starting June 26 at 2pm, with prices ranging from RM268 to RM1,088. For more ticketing information, please visit

Nelissa Nizam denies being Ahmad Idham's favourite actress

23 Jun - Nelissa Nizam recently dismissed the notion that she is Ahmad Idham's favourite actress, after appearing in four of the filmmaker's films since his directorial comeback. The actress, who will be seen next in Idham's "Impak Maksima 2", stated that it would be wrong to call her the director's "golden child", but that there is nothing she can do if that's what people think. "I have worked with other filmmakers too. But maybe it's because he is comfortable with me. We have known each other for quite a while, so maybe that's what made it easy for us to cooperate. I know how he works and he knows what I can give," she said. Nelissa also hopes that their closeness would not be misinterpreted by the public. "He treats all the actors the same. When he is comfortable with a particular actor, he would call them back," she added. Aside from "Impak Maksima 2" which will be releasing on 17 July, Nelissa has also collaborated with Idham in "Saka Perawan", "Reza GTR" and also "Sahak Gangster". (Photo Source: Nelissa IG)
