Georgia football offers trio of international recruits
The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to three-star edge rusher Gustaf Henriks Ras, who is a member of the class of 2026. Georgia is the 10th Division I program to offer Ras.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound edge rusher also plays tight end for his high school. Ras is unique because he is from Stockholm, Sweden. He plays football for RIG Academy and is the top ranked recruit in Sweden. He's ranked as the No. 69 edge rusher in the class of 2026.

Ras has recent scholarship offers from Liberty, Boise State, South Carolina, Ole Miss and more. He is an impressive athlete with a long wingspan. Ras grew up playing ice hockey.
Georgia Bulldogs football recruiting offer
Ras impressed Georgia coaches at UGA's camp and was one of multiple international prospects that Georgia offered. The Bulldogs also offered one of Ras' high school teammates in Adrian Bekibele.

Bekibele is a three-star recruit in the class of 2026 as well. He plays defensive line and has good size. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive lineman is the No. 110 player at his position in the class of 2026.

Bekibele is Sweden's second-best recruit behind Ras. The three-star has excellent mobility at his size.
UGA offers Marvin Nguetsop
Georgia offered 6-foot-7, 275-pound German defensive lineman Marvin Nguetsop, who is a member of the class of 2027. The Bulldogs offered Nguetsop after impressing in camp. Michigan later offered the talented defender.

CINCINNATI -- Borussia Dortmund was gifted an easy goal at the beginning of the match and held off a late response from the Mamelodi Sundowns on a fiercely warm day to win 4-3 in the Club World Cup group stage on Saturday. Khuliso Mudau's own goal on an attempt to deflect Daniel Svensson's cross in front of the net made it 4-1 in the 59th before South African Mamelodi centered itself and began putting pressure on the German club. The Sundowns scored two straight goals — Iqraam Rayners' double-header that first hit the post before his second effort scored in the 62nd and Lebo Mothiba's shot in the 90th minute. It wasn't enough to overcome the mistakes. American midfielder Gio Reyna, forced to be with Dortmund rather than with the U.S. national team at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, dressed but didn't play for the second straight match. Nmecha's equalizer that was made too easy for the Bundesliga club. Bellingham scores first Dortmund goal as Reyna sits again
As Gio Reyna failed to see the field again for Borussia Dortmund, Jobe Bellingham scored his first goal for the club in their narrow 4-3 win against Mamelodi Sundowns FC on Saturday at the FIFA Club World Cup. Bellingham, who arrived this summer from recently promoted Sunderland, was able to notch the third goal for the Black and Yellow in their matchup against the South African side. "The goal is a nice bonus," the 19-year-old told DAZN after being named man of the match. "I'm happy that we won, but there are still many things to improve, both for me personally and for the team." Bellingham gave Dortmund a 3-1 lead in the first half when he chested down a clearance from the goalkeeper and hit a volley that went in via a slight deflection. "I practice that so many times, not that exact finish, but arriving late on the edge of the box as a midfielder is something you need to be really good at," Bellingham added. With a $43 million price tag, Dortmund is hoping that Jobe is able to have similar success as his older brother Jude, who played a pivotal part for the side from 2020 to 2023. While Dortmund was able to secure its first win of the Club World Cup, Reyna was an unused substitute again for the German giants. This comes after missing their previous match at the tournament, which would have been a homecoming for the 22-year-old. The U.S. international only featured in 25 matches for Dortmund last season. And with players such as Tajon Buchanan opting to represent their country over their club team for more playing time, questions remain if Reyna should or could have done the same. Defending champion New England rallies to beat Chicago Hounds, reach MLR final
QUINCY - Chris Hilsenbeck missed a chance to win it for the Chicago Hounds, failing to convert a penalty kick with the clock in the red, and the defending New England Free Jacks rallied for a 21-20 comeback win Saturday to move within one victory of a Major League Rugby championship three-peat. The MLR Eastern Conference final featured 12 Canadians. The Free Jacks, who rallied from a 17-0 deficit with 21 points in the second half, will face either the Houston SaberCats or the Utah Warriors in the June 28 final in Pawtucket, R.I., at Centreville Bank Stadium, the 10,500-seat home of the United Soccer League's (USL) Rhode Island FC. Utah hosted Houston in the Western Conference final later Saturday. Trailing 20-14, New England prop Kyle Ciquera bulled his way for the winning try in the 77th minute after a prolonged Free Jacks attack. The conversion was automatic given he scored under the posts, giving New England a 21-20 lead. Chicago had a chance to win it after New England was penalized at the breakdown. But Hilsenbeck, who was good on four of six kicks on the day, saw his kick hit the upright. Viewers didn't get to see the kick for the win, with the broadcast freezing as Hilsenbeck, an American-born German international, lined up the kick. Jed Melvin and Canadian Cam Nordli-Kelemeti also scored tries for New England. Dan Hollingshead booted two conversions.
