Police release image after sexual assault on Elizabeth Line train
Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to following a sexual assault on an Elizabeth Line train in east London. The incident happened on Friday 16 May, when a man sat next to a woman on a service from Stratford to Forest Gate and sexually assaulted her.
When the woman shouted at him to stop, he struck her in the face. Members of the public intervened and pushed the man away. He then left the train at Forest Gate station.
British Transport Police said they would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have information that could assist their investigation. A spokesperson for the force added: "Do you recognise this man? Detectives investigating a sexual assault have today released these images in connection."

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 727 of 16 May. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Hovercraft used to rescue swimmers in busy day for Southend Coastguard

Young missing Edinburgh man 'last seen on busy road' as police launch urgent search
Police Scotland have launched an urgent appeal for information on a missing Edinburgh man who was last seen on a major city road. Kieran Maloney was last seen at around 0:10am on Sunday, June 22 on Ferry Road near the junction with North Junction Street wearing a navy blue bomber jacket and jeans. The 25-year-old is described as being around 6ft 1ins, of medium build, with short, red hair. Seven men charged after protest outside Iranian embassy leaves two injured
Seven men have been charged after two people were injured during a protest outside the Iranian embassy, police have confirmed. Metropolitan Police officers were called to reports of a fight on Princes Gate in Knightsbridge, west London, shortly after 9.50am on Friday. Two men, aged 37 and 39, were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries following an altercation outside the embassy. Eight individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident, including the 39-year-old man. A spokesperson for the force said that seven of those arrested were charged on Saturday with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. All seven men, who are Iranian nationals, have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday. Those charged are: Mohammad Nadiri, 30, of Central Street, Islington Pourrezaei Vahid, 41, of Hamlet Square, Cricklewood Armin Hasanlov, 35, of Prescot Road, Liverpool Esmaeil Balouchy, 50, of Brent Lea, Brentford Saeed Hosseingholipoor, 34, of Wilkins Close, Mitcham Farzin Suleimani, 31, of Selsey Road, Birmingham Aref Yazdan Parast, 31, of Worton Road, Isleworth The Met has said the incident is believed to have involved protesters from both pro- and anti-Iranian regime groups.
