Head of Social Affairs committee inspects work discipline in Capital Secretariat Service Sectors

Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, Head of the Social Affairs Committee in the Capital Secretariat, inspected on Monday the level of work discipline in several service sectors following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
Al-Naqeeb reviewed the discipline at the General Administration of Parks and Gardens in the Capital Secretariat, where he was briefed by Director of Parks Samir Hamza on workflow and the efforts made to prepare and maintain public gardens to receive visitors during the holiday.
Hamza explained that 66 parks and recreational areas across the Capital Secretariat districts welcomed over five million visitors during Eid al-Adha. He noted that 500 employees, including administrative, technical, cleaning, gardening, and security staff, provided services to visitors according to the operational plan.
Al-Naqeeb praised the discipline of the leadership and staff of the General Administration of Parks and Gardens, as well as all municipal districts, commending their efforts in ensuring proper preparations, creating a suitable environment, and delivering quality services to visitors during the holiday.
Additionally, the Head of the Social Affairs Committee inspected work attendance levels after the holiday at the Social Welfare Fund, the Land Transport Sector, and the Neighborhood Affairs Department in the Capital Municipality.
He listened to explanations from the directors of the Fund, Jamila Al-Matari, and the Transport Sector, Mohammed Al-Shahari, regarding workflow, job discipline on the second official workday, and operational mechanisms for task execution across various departments.
Furthermore, Al-Naqeeb, along with Dr. Muthahar Al-Marouni, Director of the Health and Environment Office in the Capital Secretariat, reviewed the level of medical and healthcare services at the Republican Teaching Hospital.
They inspected workflow in several medical departments and were briefed by the hospital's head, Dr. Mohammed Jahaf, on performance levels, medical services, patient care, as well as modern equipment and infrastructure development projects aimed at improving service quality.
During the visit, Al-Naqeeb, Dr. Al-Marouni, and Dr. Jahaf checked on the health of Saleh Al-Maysari, Director of Al-Safiya District, who is receiving treatment at the Republican Hospital.
They reviewed the medical care provided to Al-Maysari, wishing him a speedy recovery and a swift return to his duties in Al-Safiya District.

Ibb - Saba: Governor Abdulwahab Salah of Ibb inaugurated on Saturday a veterinary vaccination campaign targeting small ruminants and sheep pox, along with efforts to combat internal and external parasites and treat livestock diseases. The campaign, implemented by the Agriculture Sector in cooperation with the General Administration of Animal Health and Veterinary Quarantine, aims to vaccinate and treat 1,053,900 heads of small ruminants and livestock across 17 districts of the province. During the launch, Governor Salah emphasized the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in developing the livestock sector and protecting it from diseases and epidemics to achieve food security, self-sufficiency, and strengthen national economic resources. He highlighted the importance of such campaigns in safeguarding livestock from fatal diseases, preserving their health, and improving productivity, as they serve as a primary income source for most rural families. Governor Salah praised the high level of preparation and organization of the campaign, as well as the discipline of its technical teams in carrying out field visits to all targeted districts. He urged participants to reach all animals in villages and remote areas to eliminate diseases effectively. He also called on citizens and livestock breeders to cooperate with the field veterinary teams to ensure the campaign's success in achieving its goals. Meanwhile, Engineer Hammoud Al-Rassas, the head of the Agricultural Sector in the province, explained that the campaign aims to vaccinate 537,000 sheep and goats, combat parasites, and treat 516,900 heads of livestock suffering from diseases. The 20-day campaign will be carried out by 37 field teams, consisting of 156 participants, across the districts of Al-Sadda, Al-Sabra, Al-Radmah, Badan, Al-Makha'ir, Al-Nadirah, Al-Adain, Al-Hazm, Yarim, Dhi Al-Sufal, Jablah, Habish, Al-Sha'ar, Al-Sayani, and rural Ibb, under the supervision of local and central teams. Al-Rassas noted that the campaign includes vaccinating small ruminants against peste des petits ruminants (PPR), sheep pox, lumpy skin disease, and treating internal and external parasites and other diseases. He described the campaign as an extension of previous efforts in the province. Additionally, the campaign includes awareness activities for farmers and livestock breeders on disease prevention and control methods. Vaccines, medicines, and necessary supplies have already been distributed to the participating veterinary teams. Al-Rassas appreciated the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and the local authorities in enhancing the agricultural sector's ability to protect livestock and prevent losses caused by deadly diseases, which negatively impact farmers' incomes and the national economy. Dhale' - Saba: Acting Governor of Al-Dhale', Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, inspected on Saturday the first-phase rehabilitation and maintenance project of the "Yareem-Damt-Marees" road, implemented at a cost of 400 million Yemeni riyals. Al-Shaghdari was briefed by the Director of the General Authority for Road Maintenance in Al-Dhale', Mohammed Al-Najjari, on the project's components, which the authority is executing with funding and supervision from the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund. The maintenance work includes repairing road cracks and implementing water drainage and protection measures. Additionally, Al-Shaghdari reviewed the progress of Al-Ameriya School construction project, which is being implemented at a cost of 85 million riyals, funded by businessman Ahmed Al-Barti. The school consists of nine classrooms, along with facilities and teacher housing. The Acting Governor praised Al-Barti's role in establishing the school and called on businessmen to support similar service projects that benefit citizens and contribute to local development.
