Jesy Nelson shares sweet insight into her life as a new mum as she posts snaps with newborn twins after finally coming home from hospital

Daily Mail2 days ago

Jesy Nelson has shared a sweet insight into her life as a new mum as she posted adorable pictures with her newborn twins on Friday.
The former Little Mix singer, 34, and rapper Zion Foster, 26, welcomed their first children, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, in May after suffering months of complications.
And appearing every inch the doting mother, the star looks to have settled into motherhood well as she posted an array of family pictures to Instagram.
In one snap, Jesy can be seen cuddling one of her babies as they slept on her chest.
Zion also appeared to enjoy fatherhood as he was seen entertaining the little ones with a fun dance.
Another snap saw one of the newborn resting in a singular hand while wrapped up in a white baby grow.
Alongside the snaps, Jesy penned: 'Have never ever felt more lucky and blessed in my whole entire life.'
Her updates comes days after she revealed she is finally home with her newborn twins after three months in hospital.
Jesy took to social media to share the major update with her fans.
She simply wrote: 'My babies made it home for my birthday.'
Fans were left delighted by the milestone, and flooded Jesy with compliments and well wishes.
Ocean Jade and Story Monroe were born at just 31 weeks old, after Jesy was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) - a rare condition that can put one or both babies at risk.
Before being released from hospital the twins had been receiving treatment in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Jesy recently opened up about their premature births, telling fans: 'Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU.
'It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies.
'Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them and tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them it breaks your heart into a million pieces.
'Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe. The strongest little girls I've ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell'.
In March, Jesy had to undergo an emergency procedure after suffering complications and was advised to remain in hospital until she was at least 32 weeks into her pregnancy.
Throughout the ordeal, her partner Zion admitted he and Jesy, who was seven months pregnant at the time of her procedure, had ' grown to understand each other on a deeper level '.
He told OK!: 'I think it's at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means.
'And I think for me and Jess, this has just taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are literally made for each other.'
He said the couple had also tried to make the hospital as much of a home as possible.
'There's a couch that turns into a bed that we pushed next to the hospital bed, so we've made our own double bed.
'And it's like we've moved in. The nurses just said, "Oh, my God. It looks so nice in here. It looks so homely".'
Jesy announced she was expecting twins with her boyfriend Zion back in January after rumours they had split.
Originally from South London, Zion was born and raised in a Nigerian household by his mother and grew up listening to Gospel music.
It was his football coach who then introduced the star to rap influences as he began listening to Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Usher.
Zion then decided to pursue music as he began recording his own music and sharing it online via SoundCloud.

Alejandro Garnacho pictured in a Marcus Rashford Aston Villa shirt

Alejandro Garnacho has risked angering Manchester United fans by posing in an Aston Villa shirt carrying Marcus Rashford's name on the back. After a season in which both players became outcasts under Ruben Amorim, Garnacho posted the image of himself in the jersey while on holiday. The picture is included in holiday snaps he posted on Instagram of a trip to Ibiza, while he continues to weigh up his future as an Old Trafford exit beckons. There is little doubt that the image posted on Garnacho's official account is intended to be provocative. The No 9 claret and blue shirt that Rashford wore while on loan at Villa Park last season takes centre stage as Garnacho walks towards a Ferrari and a Lamborghini. Villa have been listed among clubs potentially interested in the 20-year-old, who is said to be keen on the prospect of remaining in the Premier League. Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Napoli have also been linked with proposals for the forward. Amorim did not name Garnacho in his 20-man squad for their final game of a miserable season after telling the Argentina international to find a new club. Napoli bid for Garnacho in January after selling Georgia forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris St-Germain for £63 million but were rebuffed. United are thought to want around £60 million for the Argentina forward, whom Chelsea also tried and failed to sign in January. The Argentina international previously angered United fans with his comments immediately after their crushing 1-0 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final. 'Obviously, it is hard for everyone. Our season was s---. We did not beat anyone in the league,' Garnacho told reporters at the San Mames Stadium. 'We lacked a lot of things. When you don't score goals, you always need more. Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today…'

Legendary BBC and ITV commentator retires after glittering 48-year career as sporting icons say goodbye

ICONIC broadcaster Steve Ryder is hanging up his mic after 48 years. The 75-year-old worked at both ITV and the BBC during his nearly five-decade career. 3 3 3 Ryder signed off for the final time on Sunday at the British Touring Car Championship from Oulton Park. He bid farewell to broadcasting after the race weekend, which was shown live on ITV4. A host of drivers from the past and present recorded messages for Ryder. The two-minute montage featured a host of famous names from the world of F1. Lando Norris, Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill, Jenson Button and David Coulthard all contributed to the emotional goodbye. Ryder is best known for hosting the BBC sports show Grandstand. He also fronted coverage of rugby, golf, motorsports and rowing for the Beeb, as well as Sports Personality of the Year. Ryder left the BBC in 2005 to join ITV, where he has since taken charge of their F1 coverage and World Cup broadcasts. Speaking about his decision to retire, he told The Mail: "The biggest emotion as you get into the last two minutes of something like that is, 'For God's sake, don't c**k it up!' "Because you'd be thinking about that for the next 20 years. Lando Norris punished by F1 bosses with five-second penalty after being snitched on by rival Max Verstappen "I've probably outstayed my welcome. I've been hugely lucky with the places that the career has taken me. "But it's close to 50 years now, so the cracks are showing." Ryder was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October 2023. He underwent emergency surgery, which successfully prevented the tumour from spreading. He told BBC Breakfast: "They took one look and said, 'We're going to operate in two weeks'. "No messing around. We did Brands Hatch for ITV on the Sunday and I had the operation on the Thursday. "So it slotted into the schedule quite nicely!"
