Jesy Nelson 'never felt more lucky' as she shares sweet snaps of twin daughters

Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson welcomed her twins on 18 May but only got to take them home last week after they spent some time in the NICU Jesy Nelson admits she's 'never felt more lucky in her life' as she shared snaps of her newborn babies with fans on social media. The former Little Mix singer, who struggled with a difficult pregnancy, revealed last week that her baby twins arrived back at her home for the first time after she welcomed them on 18 May. In a sweet update shared on Instagram, Jesy shared a carousel of snaps and videos of her daughters, Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, with whom she shares a partner, Zion Foster. She posted pictures of them looking cosy, wrapped up in towels, as well as a video of Zion dancing with one of their babies. ‌ ‌ Jesy also shared numerous snaps of her babies lying on her chest and a snap of them enjoying a sunny day while sleeping in a pram. "Have never ever felt more lucky and blessed in my whole entire life," the singer captioned the wholesome post. Friends and fans rushed to the comment section to share their love for the couple and their newborn babies, with influencer Luke Hamnett writing: "Gorgeous gorgeous family." "You deserve every moment and enjoy every feeling beautiful momma," Safiyya Vorajee commented and one fan added: "You're a beauty human. You deserve such beautiful miracles." In May, Jesy delighted fans when she revealed her children had arrived "healthy and fighting strong" after arriving prematurely. She also recently shared her experience with the girls in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She wrote in an online post: "Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU. ‌ "It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies. Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them. "Tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them, it breaks your heart into a million pieces. "But slowly as the days go by and they get stronger and wires start to come away, moments like this feel like a dream." ‌ The Black Magic singer shared her happiness over the fact her children were reunited together following treatment. She explained: "Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe. The strongest little girls I've ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell."

Meanwhile money for the charity What are the different types of twins? TWINS are when two children are produced in the same pregnancy. They can be identical or different, and two boys, two girls, or a girl and a boy. Twins are quite rare, but are usually born completely healthy What are the different types of twins? Monozygotic – identical twins ('one cell' twins) Dizygotic – also known as 'fraternal', non identical twins. Babies are no more alike than siblings born at separate times, and they can be the same or different sexes Conjoined twins – identical twins that are joined together. They are extremely rare, and it's estimated they range from one in 49,000 to 189,000 births, although around half are stillborn, and one third die within 24 hours. Can identical twins be two different sexes? Identical twins are always of the same sex because they form from the same fertilised egg that contains either female or male chromosomes. The single egg is divided into two separate embryos, and they occur in about three in every 1000 deliveries worldwide. Therefore, boy/girl twins are always fraternal (or dizygotic), as their chromosomes are either XY (male) or XX (female). What are Di Di twins? Di Di stands for Dichronic Diamniotic, and they are the common type of twins. They have their own amniotic sacs and placenta, so are just sharing the womb of the mother, and are therefore not identical. There are few complications with Di Di twins, so have a good chance of being born completely healthy without intervention from your doctor. Di di twins are more likely to be non-identical than identical. As he completed the 26.2mile mission, Jesy watched from her room and declared in a sweet post: 'I honestly didn't think I could love you any more than I already do @zionfoster but you have made me and our babies the proudest!!!! 'You had under 4 weeks to train for the London Marathon and you have worked your absolute bum off to be able to cross that finish line today whilst raising money for an amazing cause @twinstrust and for our babies .' Jesy Nelson shares sweet insight into her life as a new mum as she posts snaps with newborn twins after finally coming home from hospital

Jesy Nelson has shared a sweet insight into her life as a new mum as she posted adorable pictures with her newborn twins on Friday. The former Little Mix singer, 34, and rapper Zion Foster, 26, welcomed their first children, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, in May after suffering months of complications. And appearing every inch the doting mother, the star looks to have settled into motherhood well as she posted an array of family pictures to Instagram. In one snap, Jesy can be seen cuddling one of her babies as they slept on her chest. Zion also appeared to enjoy fatherhood as he was seen entertaining the little ones with a fun dance. Another snap saw one of the newborn resting in a singular hand while wrapped up in a white baby grow. Alongside the snaps, Jesy penned: 'Have never ever felt more lucky and blessed in my whole entire life.' Her updates comes days after she revealed she is finally home with her newborn twins after three months in hospital. Jesy took to social media to share the major update with her fans. She simply wrote: 'My babies made it home for my birthday.' Fans were left delighted by the milestone, and flooded Jesy with compliments and well wishes. Ocean Jade and Story Monroe were born at just 31 weeks old, after Jesy was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) - a rare condition that can put one or both babies at risk. Before being released from hospital the twins had been receiving treatment in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Jesy recently opened up about their premature births, telling fans: 'Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU. 'It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies. 'Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them and tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them it breaks your heart into a million pieces. 'Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe. The strongest little girls I've ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell'. In March, Jesy had to undergo an emergency procedure after suffering complications and was advised to remain in hospital until she was at least 32 weeks into her pregnancy. Throughout the ordeal, her partner Zion admitted he and Jesy, who was seven months pregnant at the time of her procedure, had ' grown to understand each other on a deeper level '. He told OK!: 'I think it's at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means. 'And I think for me and Jess, this has just taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are literally made for each other.' He said the couple had also tried to make the hospital as much of a home as possible. 'There's a couch that turns into a bed that we pushed next to the hospital bed, so we've made our own double bed. 'And it's like we've moved in. The nurses just said, "Oh, my God. It looks so nice in here. It looks so homely".' Jesy announced she was expecting twins with her boyfriend Zion back in January after rumours they had split. Originally from South London, Zion was born and raised in a Nigerian household by his mother and grew up listening to Gospel music. It was his football coach who then introduced the star to rap influences as he began listening to Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Usher. Zion then decided to pursue music as he began recording his own music and sharing it online via SoundCloud.

The little ones came prematurely, born at just over 31 weeks, amidst a risk-laden pregnancy troubled by twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. The 'Mine' singer spent considerable time hospitalised after requiring emergency surgery to safeguard her unborn children. With evident pride, Jesy disclosed that she and her daughters have returned home, just shy of a month since they were born, making it back in time for her own birthday celebration.
