The Travelers Championship concluded on Sunday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, with hometown favorite Keegan Bradley carding a 2-under-par 68 to capture his second title at the event.

Bradley birdied the 72nd hole to finish at 15-under, edging out England's Tommy Fleetwood by one stroke after Fleetwood bogeyed the final hole and carded a 2-over-par 72 in the final round.
Fleetwood had been co-leader or outright leader for 71 holes, earning him a prime opportunity to secure his elusive first PGA Tour victory.
Instead, he joined Russell Henley at 14-under, with Harris English and Jason Day finishing two strokes back at 13-under.
Speaking on the loss afterwards, Fleetwood said, "I'm upset now, I'm gutted, I'm angry. When it calms down, I'll look at the things that I did well, look at the things that I can learn from. I said yesterday, I haven't been in this position all year, so it's been a while. Felt like I did a lot of good things, but there was things that I definitely can do better and I have to do better."

"Right now I would love to just go and sulk somewhere, and maybe I will do, but there's just no point making it a negative for the future, really, and take the positives and move on,' Fleetwood continued.
Fleetwood turned professional in 2010 after a decorated amateur career that saw him win the 2009 Scottish Amateur Stroke Play Championship and the 2010 English Amateur.
On the European Tour, he has secured seven titles, including two Nedbank Golf Challenge events and two Abu Dhabi HSBC Championships.

Fleetwood's major championship resume includes runner-up finishes at the 2018 U.S. Open and 2019 Open Championship, and a tied-third at the 2024 Masters.

He will now look to continue this momentum into the coming weeks as the PGA Tour heads to Detroit Golf Club for the Rocket Mortgage Classic (June 26-29), followed by the John Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois (July 3-6).

Keegan Bradley 'Changes the Story' on Playing Ryder Cup Captain
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Entering last week, Keegan Bradley had remained steadfast in his belief that he would only play in the Ryder Cup if he locked up an automatic berth. The top six ranked players in the Ryder Cup rankings earn that recognition. Following Bradley's victory at the Travelers Championship, it appears he has changed his tune a bit. "I mean, listen, this changes the story a little bit," said Bradley in his post round press conference. "I never would have thought about playing if I hadn't won. This definitely opens the door to play. I don't know if I'm going to do it or not, but I certainly have to take a pretty hard look at what's best for the team and we'll see. We still got -- it's still June, so we still got a long ways to go." (Photo by) More"This definitely changes things a little bit, and we'll all get together and figure out the best way to do this." The now 8-time PGA Tour winner capped off a dramatic comeback on Sunday. He entered the final round at TPC River Highlands three shots back of Tommy Fleetwood. Keegan Bradley Caps Wild Comeback The Englishman bogeyed three of his first four holes, setting the stage for a wild finish. The tournament ultimately came down to the 72nd hole. Bradley trailed by one shot, with both players sitting in the middle of the fairway of the par-4 18th. Fleetwood had the honors and made a last-second club change to his pitching wedge. He then came up woefully short, leaving himself just over 50 feet. That opened the door for the veteran. Bradley flexed his clutch gene and stuck his approach to inside six feet. After Fleetwood three-putted for bogey, the New England native drained his birdie for the win. Should Keegan Bradley pick himself for the Ryder Cup team? Would love both the American and European perspective on this. He's clearly one of our top 12 players. But it will be a huge distraction to his captaincy. Already is. I say yes! Bring it! — Rick Golfs (@Top100Rick) June 23, 2025 The level of passion displayed, along with his ability to play well in the game's biggest moments, has people calling for him to name himself playing captain for Team USA. The last player to do so was Arnold Palmer 62 years ago. Sunday's win vaulted the 39-year-old to ninth in the Ryder Cup rankings. Scottie Scheffler has already locked up a spot. He is followed by Xander Schauffele, JJ Spaun, Russell Henley, Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas. Those are the six that would qualify automatically right now. The next six are Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Keegan Bradley, Harris English, Maverick McNealy, and Brian Harman. The other players currently in contention for a spot include Patrick Cantlay, Andrew Novak, Sam Burns, and Cameron Young. You would be hard-pressed to make an argument that Bradley is not among the best six for Team USA from that group. Rebuilding Pac-12 reaches deal with CBS for its football and men's basketball games
The Pac-12 struck a media-rights deal with CBS on Monday that sets up the network to broadcast a minimum of four football and men's basketball games per season on its main network and provide a cable and streaming presence for the reconfigured league from 2026-31. Financial details of the new deal were not disclosed. Conference Commissioner Teresa Gould called it a 'transformational partnership' that allows the Pac-12 to grow when it starts as a remodeled league in 2026-27. An inability to secure a media deal is what nearly cratered the league in 2023, with all but Oregon State and Washington State departing for the Big 12, Atlantic Coast and Big Ten Conferences. The Pac-12 already had deals in place to put all of the two remaining teams' football games on the CW, ESPN and CBS for the upcoming season. The new deal with what the league calls its 'primary long-term media partner' kicks in the next season, when Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Utah State and San Diego State will join the Pac-12 in all sports, with Gonzaga joining in everything but football. The Pac-12 needs to add another football program to reach the minimum eight teams necessary to be in the Football Bowl Subdivision and, thus, the College Football Playoff. Multiple reports say Texas State has emerged as the top candidate. Under the new deal, CBS will broadcast at least three regular-season football and men's basketball games per season, along with the championship games for both sports. The league also will have what it called a 'consistent regular-season presence' on the cable CBS Sports Network. Details are still being finalized as Pac-12 media negotiator, Octagon, works on finding additional media partners for the league. ___ AP college football:
