Kristen Doute gives birth
Kristen Doute has given birth to a baby girl.
The Valley star and her fiance Luke Brodrick welcomed daughter Kaia Lily into the world on 11 June and Kristen couldn't be happier, despite the lack of sleep she's already experienced.
She told Us Weekly magazine: 'She's here, and we still can't believe it. Luke is even hotter as a dad, and I just feel so lucky.
'And even though I haven't slept or showered in two days, seeing our daughter and finally being able to hold her makes it all worth it. We're completely overwhelmed with love and so grateful for her—our lives are already changed completely.'
The couple chose Kaia's name, which is Hawaiian for "the sea", because of their love of the state where they got engaged.
Kristen explained: 'We knew we wanted our baby name to have something to do, or revolve around, water.
'Lillies are my favourite flower. They're associated with new beginnings, beauty, and also the name Lily indicates a 'gentle and compassionate nature, suggesting a kind and caring personality.''
Kristen admitted in April she and Luke had already chosen a name for their baby.
She told Extra: "She is named."
But Luke added: "We're not telling you."
Kristen suffered a miscarriage in 2023, and she appreciated the support she subsequently received from her fans.
She previously said: "It's been a really wonderful community of women out there who I know have really appreciated me coming out and saying that, as much as I felt really secure in coming out and talking about it because of those women.
"This is what I love about being on a reality show, a docuseries, what I love about the good things about social media, is that you are able to find these people that help rally around you, so it makes it a lot easier when you have people to talk to.
"And obviously, like, surprise! We did conceive, it worked, so that's also really exciting."
Kristen announced her pregnancy in November, revealing that they started trying for a baby at the start of 2024 and had sought the advice of a fertility specialist.
She told People magazine: "In late summer, we decided to meet with a fertility specialist to learn about our options and what could be the next step if we decided to go that route. The next month was a whirlwind - getting educated on fertility, and eventually hormone shots and preparing my body for IUI (intrauterine insemination)."

Hamilton star Anthony Ramos calls out Madonna for using iPad during Broadway performance
Anthony Ramos says Madonna lit up the whole theatre with her iPad during a performance of Hamilton on Broadway. The 33-year-old actor originated the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the Broadway show and is among a group of Hamilton actors to speak out on Madonna's alleged behavior in the audience. Appearing on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on Thursday (19.06.25), Ramos said: 'The most terrifying was Madonna with her iPad in her face. She was like this [shining a light] the whole time. 'I was like, 'Damn, shorty. If you're not enjoying it that much, you know the door is right there. You don't have to stay here.'' Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of the musical who played Alexander Hamilton, also appeared to call out The Queen of Pop in a since-deleted post on Twitter in April 2015. He penned at the time: 'Tonight was the first time I asked stage management NOT to allow a celebrity (who was texting all through Act 2) backstage. #noselfieforyou." However, the Like a Virgin hitmaker's publicist rubbished the claim, telling Us Weekly: "It's not true. She was invited backstage four different times. She texted post show when they were doing their fundraising pitch. Madonna had already made a generous donation.' Jonathan Groff, who starred as King George, also fumed 'that b**** was on her phone.' He said at the time: 'You couldn't miss it from the stage. 'It was a black void of the audience in front of us and her face there perfectly lit by the light of her iPhone through three-quarters of the show.'

Pierce Brosnan didn't give his sons Dylan and Paris acting advice as the trio starred together in The Unholy Trinity
Pierce Brosnan gave his sons "very little advice" as they worked together on the new movie The Unholy Trinity. The 72-year-old star is joined by his youngest boys Dylan, 28, and Paris, 24, - who he has with his wife Keely Shaye Smith - in the film and explained that he didn't want to overload the pair on their acting bows in the Western action flick. Pierce told People magazine: "I gave very little advice, and they asked me for very little advice. I think both men knew instinctively what to do: Show up on time, know your lines, and be brilliant. Be relaxed, and have fun, and go play." However, the former James Bond actor was less impressed by how untidy his sons were in the motor home they shared during the snowy production. Brosnan said: "It was winter, the snow was coming in, they didn't wipe their feet. Just the old common sense, 'Wipe your feet, take your boots off, for God's sake!' You know?" Pierce revealed how Dylan and Paris grew up on his movie sets as they travelled the world with their parents at the height of his movie career. The star - who also adopted his late wife Cassandra Harris' (who passed away aged 43 in 1991 from ovarian cancer) children Chris, 52, and Charlotte - who died from the same disease as her mother in 2013 at the age of 41 - recalled: "We always stayed together tight as a family during the days of James Bond. "(Dylan and Paris) have been on the road with me since they were tiny. Keely and I took them everywhere with us around the world." Paris explained that he and his brother's appearance in the movie "organically came about". He said: "It kind of naturally and organically came about. There were some little opening for us to get in there and dip our toes in the water." Dylan, meanwhile, wasn't concerned about how much screen time he got as he embraced the chance to act alongside his father and brother. He said: "It was just really nice to go spend time with Dad and Paris and be a part of that."
