Offset to Perform in Russia Despite Label's Boycott
Offset has announced a performance in Russia set for April despite his parent label, Universal Music Group, having suspended all operations and closed offices there, shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine.
The Migos rapper confirmed plans for a performance at Moscow's MTC Live Hall on April 18 with a post to his Instagram Story on Tuesday (March 4), which included a flyer featuring himself and a link to ticketing information.

Set is currently signed to Motown Records under the Universal Music Group umbrella. Billboard has reached out to reps for Offset as well as Universal Music Group and Interscope/Capitol for comment.
UMG announced it was pulling out of Russia in March 2022, after the country launched its attack on Ukraine.
'We urge an end to the violence in Ukraine as soon as possible,' a spokesperson for UMG said at the time. 'We are adhering to international sanctions and, along with our employees and artists, have been working with groups from a range of countries to support humanitarian relief efforts to bring urgent aid to refugees in the region.'
Other major Western music companies — such as Live Nation, Sony Music and Warner Music Group — also exited the country.
However, some artists are starting to work their way back to performing in Russia. DaBaby, who is signed to Interscope Records/Universal Music Group, posted clips of his time in Moscow last week, where he performed a show.
Offset has stayed busy on the music side in 2025. He returned with his island-tinged single 'Ten' on Valentine's Day.

The estranged married couple — who've spent the past year making headlines over their pending split — delivered what felt like musical rebuttals from both sides of the divorce. Cardi came out swinging with 'Outside,' a long-teased release that lands as both a summer anthem and a bold declaration that she's moved on. It marks her first solo track of the year, delivered with her signature sound, razor-sharp bars, and lines that sound like clear shots at her ex. Over a bass-heavy beat, she reclaims her singleness with bars about being 'cuffed up too long,' and even calls out a 'good-for-nothing, low-down dirty dog' — a jab many believe is aimed at Offset. Cardi B Is Back ‘Outside' With A New Single
Cardi B In the wake of her split from estranged husband Offset, hit-making rapper Cardi B is ready to show she's 'Outside' for the summer. The Bronx-bred MC is back with her first solo single of 2025 and is setting the stage for her long-awaited sophomore album. 'Outside" is believed to be a direct shot at Offset as Cardi prepares to return to music in full force. She announced earlier this month that she turned in her second album to Atlantic Records, more than seven years after the release of her Grammy-winning debut Invasion of Privacy. 'I'm finally feeling ready,' she said during a recent Instagram Live. 'Y'all waited long enough. It's 'go' time.' 'When I tell you these n***as ain't sh**t, please believe me / They gon' f**k on anything, these n***as way too easy / Good-for-nothing, low-down dirty dogs, I'm convinced / Next time you see your mama, tell her how she raised a b***h,' she raps on the track. Though a large chunk of time has passed since her last LP, Cardi's dominance in hip-hop hasn't faded.
