'I looked at girlfriend's internet history and it changed our entire relationship'
A man shared how he was curious to see what was on his girlfriend's internet history, but when he took a look, it was more shocking than he could've imagined, and it changed their whole relationship. He shared on Reddit that there was a time he and his girlfriend were "going through a really rough patch" and they were "trying to fix things, but it wasn't easy".
The mad admitted the time brought a lot of "uncertainty" and "silence," and they "both wanted to make it work," but there was "doubt" that "lingered". He wrote: "One day, we were on a bus and she didn't have her phone, but she wanted to show me a Tumblr post she had saved for me. So she logged into her Tumblr account on my phone and showed it to me. That was it. I didn't think much of it at the time." But later, when he got home, he noticed that she'd forgotten to log out, and was about to do it himself when curiosity got the better of him.
He admitted that he noticed a "one" next to the drafts tab, and he "opened it". "I had no intentions beyond that, just curiosity," he said. "We both write from time to time, because we are into books and poetry and stuff," but what he saw next really shocked him.
He said inside the draft, there were a few lines that "hurt" him and had him asking himself questions about whether she actually loved him.
She wrote something along the lines of: "Oh, but how do I love you, when there is none of me left? My soul is shattered, and I do not know what to do with the remains."
The man said: "I logged out of her account. I didn't say anything. But I couldn't shake the feeling. I tried, but it just kept hurting the whole day."
Feeling heartbroken, but persisting with their relationship, he shared that the following day was a "special occasion" for the pair of them, saying that they usually write letters to each other, "filled with feelings".
He wrote: "I gave her mine. She smiled softly and said she didn't write one this time. Instead, she handed me a book: Six of Crows. One of the two books we had exchanged back when we were just starting to fall for each other. It had emotional weight. She told me to open it once I got home. So I did.
"There was a tiny piece of paper tucked into the front, asking me to turn to a specific page. Page 147. I flipped to it and found a passage she had underlined: 'Many boys will bring you flowers. But someday you'll meet a boy who will learn your favourite flower, your favourite song, your favourite sweet. And even if he is too poor to give you any of them, it won't matter because he will have taken the time to know you as no one else does. Only that boy earns your heart.'
"And just after that, the character Inej thinks: 'I'm not sure I have a heart to give anymore, Papa.' But right there, next to that line, my girl, in her beautiful handwriting, had written: 'But when you do find the one, the shattered remains of it will stitch themselves back together and will only beat to his name'," he wrote.
He admitted that he "sat there in silence, crying" after putting the book down to process what she'd written.
"She never knew I read that draft, and I still haven't told her," he said. "But in that moment, I knew. She loved me. Entirely. In her own quiet, aching way. It's been a long time, but ever since then, our relationship has only grown stronger. I love her so much."
In the comments, someone joked: "My husband looked me in the eyes, smiled, then proceeded to unclog the toilet for me, and that's how I knew he loved me in his own quiet, aching way. Congratulations on also finding true love".
Another shared: "My friend realised she loved her boyfriend (now husband) when he was helping her dad install a solar panel on the roof of her house and she thought 'Oh I'd be really sad if he fell and got hurt' lmao".
Another Redditor wrote: "This is so beautiful! I'm glad you have each other and I hope you continue to cultivate a wonderful and healthy relationship." While someone else said: "Well, that was a plot twist. A good one!"

Oasis fans offered tips to avoid travel chaos after gigs at Murrayfield Stadium
Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher will be at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on the Oasis Live '25 Tour, with fans of acts like Taylor Swift offering advice to concertgoers Fans of Oasis have been offered advice from supporters of acts like Taylor Swift and Robbie Williams ahead of the band's reunion tour. It comes ahead of Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher playing gigs at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. There's concern about getting home from the venue, which has a capacity of 67,000, in August. It comes following the experiences of Taylor's fans, who grappled with transport difficulties last June when the international singer dazzled crowds over three nights at the venue during her Era's Tour. Now, as the countdown to the Oasis gigs on August 8, 9 and 12 continues, fans of the band have been issued advice, as reported by the Daily Record. It includes them having been dissuaded from using Haymarket station – advice shared on a Reddit thread entitled: "People of Glasgow that are going to Oasis in Edinburgh, how are we getting home?'' The user sparked discussion about how people that live outside of Edinburgh are planning to get home. The post read: "As per title, are people chancing being able to get a train home? A coach? A million pound taxi? I'm really not sure of the best plan of action..." One Swiftie from Glasgow suggested: "Tip from when I was at Taylor Swift last year. Everyone will be trying to get a train from Haymarket, and it'll be f***ing mobbed." Advising instead: "Head to Waverly (either via tram or just walk) and get on the train there, it'll be significantly quieter, and you'll likely get a table seat as well, rather than being stuck standing." There's also been advice from someone who attended Robbie Williams' gig in Edinburgh, where he kicked off his BRIT POP world tour at the end of last month. Offering their advice, they said: "We were at Robbie Williams on Saturday and Citylink buses were pretty decent. "Drop you right outside the stadium and pick you up just a little bit further away be prepared for a bit of [a] wait though because it's busy. So the concert finished at 10:30 and we were on the bus by about 11:30." Get Oasis updates straight to your WhatsApp! As the hotly anticipated Oasis reunion tour grows closer, the Mirror has launched its very own Oasis WhatsApp community where you'll get all the latest news on the Gallagher brothers and all the information you'll need in the run up to the gigs. Another person chimed in to the discussion reassuring revellers about late-night transportation between cities: "The buses run 24 hours between Glasgow and Edinburgh. I don't think it will be that bad trying to get home via public transport." There was however a word of caution about high demand to book ahead from someone else. They wrote: "Make sure to book the [CityLink] 900 and AIR buses ahead of time, they fill up quickly." Another person suggested similarly, writing in part of their response: "Citylink run all night. Happy Bus run private coach transfers from Buchanan to the event and back." A different user offered a more unconventional tip for catching a quieter bus: "Head to a club till you're completely knackered then head for a bus (they run 24/7 as previously mentioned). By that time most folk will have f***ed off already." Oasis fans are buzzing with anticipation as the band is set to rock Murrayfield Stadium with three gigs this summer on August 8, 9 and 12. The much-awaited reunion tour marks the first time the Gallagher brothers will share the stage in 16 years, with the opening show set to take place in Cardiff on July 4.

Taylor Swift fans offer top tip to Oasis concert goers to avoid travel chaos at Murrayfield
Oasis concert goers have been issued some advice by Taylor Swift fans on how to avoid the mayhem at Murrayfield when getting home from the gigs this summer Oasis concert goers have been offered some top tips from Taylor Swift fans when it comes to getting home from Murrayfield Stadium where the Gallagher brothers will perform for three nights in August on their Oasis Live 25' reunion tour. Liam and Noel Gallagher are set to take to the stage in Edinburgh on Friday August 8, Saturday August 9 and Tuesday August 12. While fans are excitedly counting down the weeks to the Oasis gigs, some have been left worrying about how they will get home from the stadium which holds a capacity of 67k people and will undoubtedly be full to the max. This is an issue that Taylor Swift fans remember all too well after the famous pop star played three nights at Murrayfield on her iconic Era's Tour last June. Fans who attended the gigs will recall the carnage that took place in the capital whilst trying to make their way to and from Edinburgh and it seems Oasis fans are now starting to worry about running into the same issue as they have been warned to stay away from Haymarket station. On a Reddit thread, titled ''People of Glasgow that are going to Oasis in Edinburgh, how are we getting home?'' one user opened up a conversation about how people that live outside the capital are planning on getting home from the Oasis gigs in August. The post read: "As per title, are people chancing being able to get a train home? A coach? A million pound taxi? I'm really not sure of the best plan of action..." One experienced Swiftie from Glasgow was on hand to issue their advice to the Oasis fan. They replied: "Tip from when I was at Taylor Swift last year. Everyone will be trying to get a train from Haymarket, and it'll be f***ing mobbed. "Head to Waverly (either via tram or just walk) and get on the train there, it'll be significantly quieter, and you'll likely get a table seat as well, rather than being stuck standing." Recent performances at Murrayfield include a show from Robbie Williams who kicked off his BRIT POP world tour in Edinburgh at the end of last month. One user who attended the Rock DJ star's gig replied to the thread with an alternative solution for getting home which Oasis fans might find handy. They wrote: "We were at Robbie Williams on Saturday and Citylink buses were pretty decent. "Drop you right outside the stadium and pick you up just a little bit further away be prepared for a bit of wait though because it's busy. "So the concert finished at 10:30 and we were on the bus by about 11:30. Another user chimed in: "The buses run 24 hours between Glasgow and Edinburgh. I don't think it will be that bad trying to get home via public transport." Someone else replied to this suggestion, stating: "Make sure to book the CityLink 900 and AIR buses ahead of time, they fill up quickly." Yet another person advised to take a similar route as they said: "Citylink run all night. Happy Bus run private coach transfers from Buchanan to the event and back." One other user has come up with their own unique way of making sure you make the bus as they penned: "Head to a club till you're completely knackered then head for a bus (they run 24/7 as previously mentioned). By that time most folk will have f***ed off already." Oasis are set to play three shows this summer at Murrayfield Stadium on August 8, 9 and 12. Their reunion tour comes as the first time the Gallagher brothers have been on stage together in 16 years and will kick off in Cardiff on July 4.

Shoppers just realising ‘favourite ever' 80s sweet has been AXED leaving them gutted
SHOPPERS are just realising their "favourite ever" 80s sweet has been axed - and they're gutted. The sought-after Wonka Everlasting Gobstoppers, dubbed Heartbreakers, are no longer in stock across stores in the UK. The white, pink, and red heart-shaped treats changed in colour and flavour with each layer, making them a hit among sweet lovers. Originally imported from the US, these 340g 80s sweets scanned at tills for £3.50. However, some shoppers are only now discovering that the popular sweet treat has been discontinued. One user took to Reddit, writing: "I just learned this has been discontinued, correct me if I'm wrong. ps what's a good replacement?" The post attracted several comments from disappointed shoppers who were also unaware that the popular treat had been axed. This shopper wrote: "I was obsessed with these like 4 years ago. Why would they discontinue them?" "The spree hearts were my favourite ever," added another. A third said: "I keep hoping they'll bring them back." "I just found out the bad news too! I'm devastated," a fourth added. It comes after M&S confirmed it had axed a beloved snack - particularly popular with a pint. 6 ways to get the biggest bargains in B&M It came after a disgruntled shopper took to social media to inquire about its whereabouts. They said on X: "@Marksandspencer have you stopped selling the Sweet Chilli Combo Mix snack? "Been to several stores today and no sign of them. Please say they've not been discontinued!!" The Sweet Chilli Combo Mix was a selection of crispy potato and corn snacks - which came in the shape of tubes, wheels and flat crisps. Fans deemed them the perfect sweet and spicy morsel to enjoy alongside a cold drink. But their worst fears were confirmed when M&S employee Simon weighed in on the thread. He said: "It looks like we have discontinued this flavour, sorry about that." It follows Nestle confirming they pulled a new type of Rowntree's sweets just one year after launch. And B&M fans are in a frenzy after spying retro sweets back on shelves. Why are products axed or recipes changed? ANALYSIS by chief consumer reporter James Flanders. Food and drinks makers have been known to tweak their recipes or axe items altogether. They often say that this is down to the changing tastes of customers. There are several reasons why this could be done. For example, government regulation, like the "sugar tax," forces firms to change their recipes. Some manufacturers might choose to tweak ingredients to cut costs. They may opt for a cheaper alternative, especially when costs are rising to keep prices stable. For example, Tango Cherry disappeared from shelves in 2018. It has recently returned after six years away but as a sugar-free version. Fanta removed sweetener from its sugar-free alternative earlier this year. Suntory tweaked the flavour of its flagship Lucozade Original and Orange energy drinks. While the amount of sugar in every bottle remains unchanged, the supplier swapped out the sweetener aspartame for sucralose.
