Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios revealed a new adult animated series at the Annecy Animation Festival, this one following the DC superhero Mister Miracle. A first look image was shared from the series, which you can see below.

The logline of the series reads "No prison can hold him. No trap can contain him. He is Scott Free, the worldwide celebrity sensation known as Mister Miracle, and he is the greatest escape artist who ever lived. But can he pull off the ultimate trick – and escape death itself?"

No information yet has been shared about what network or platform "Mister Miracle" will be available on.
"Mister Miracle" is the second adult animated series Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios has collaborated on, the first being this year's "Creature Commandos" whose second seasons is currently in production.
According to Variety, "Mister Miracle" will follow escape artist and superhero Scott Free who seems to have put together the perfect life with his wife Big Barda.
But things start to look dark when war breaks out between the planets of Apokolips and New Genesis, and the villain Darkseid finally obtains the Anti-Life Equation which he means use to take over the entire universe.
Scott Free is the only hope to end the war between the two planets, but he begins to question whether or not the Anti-Life Equation is already fracturing his reality.
One big question that needs to be answered is whether or not, like "Creature Commandos", "Mister Miracle" is part of the DCU narrative or will be considered part of the "Elseworlds" stable of projects like "The Batman" and "Penguin".
"Mister Miracle" is not one of the series mentioned as part of DC's "Chapter One: Gods and Monsters" line-up, but considering the inclusion of the New Gods, it would certainly be a fitting entry.
If it is part of the DCU, something like "Mister Miracle" could mean a lot to the narrative moving forward. Though it's an animated series, "Creature Commandos", for example, introduced fans to Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. who will return in both "Superman" and the second season of "Peacemaker".

All About David Corenswet's Wife, Julia Warner
Superman actor David Corenswet plays a man leading an epic double-life. The star has some experience there, because he keeps his off-screen world extremely private. Corenswet is married to his wife, Julia Best Warner, with whom he shares one child. But his Instagram is almost entirely promotion for the upcoming DC flick and he has shared very little info about his family. Here's everything that is known about Warner and her relationship with the superhero. Like Corenswet, Warner is an actor. Per her LinkedIn profile, she studied Fine Arts in Theater Arts Acting at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. According to her IMDb page, she has also tried her hand at producing and directing, and has credits with The Baby Sitters Pub, Ratched, and Pretty Little Things. In 2018, she wrote a tribute to her work at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. She seems to be close to her family, and posted about cutting down the family Christmas tree with other Warners in 2020. And she and Corenswet share a Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Ira: 'He's less of a doggy, more of a toddler,' Corenswet told People, adding that the seven-year-old dog 'has a wonderful mohawk, a natural tuft of hair right between his eyes, which is the reason he's disqualified from being shown [making him] adoptable.' According to an interview with People in June 2025, the pair met as teenagers at a Pennsylvania summer theater program and had a 'slow-burn' romance. They were married in March 2023. In 2022, Warner shared a carousel of pics that included Corenswet. Corenswet and Warner welcomed a daughter in 2024, though they have kept her name private. In his interview with People, Corenswet said, 'I feel like I've been a dad for a long time, and just waiting for a kid to prove it. My dad was an enthusiastic father and stayed home with my sister for a period when she was very little, and was very good with kids. And so I think I just inherited that. I liked being a camp counselor, and I have terrible jokes that nobody laughs at.' 'He helps us to do that': James Gunn reveals the surprising impact of including Jason Momoa's Lobo in DC's new Supergirl movie

In a broad-ranging interview on episode 15 of the official DC Studios podcast, Gunn revealed that Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts will portray Krem. For the uninitiated: Krem is the Big Bad in 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow', an eight-part graphic novel series that the second DCU film, which releases on June 26, 2026, is heavily inspired by. In fact, the movie bore the title of its comic book namesake until very recently, with Gunn admitting Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow was now known by its much simpler and cleaner title Supergirl. But back to Krem. Last October, Deadline claimed Schoenaerts had been cast as the movie's terrifying antagonist, but it's only now that Gunn has admitted The Regime and Amsterdam star is part of its cast. That's not the only interesting information that Gunn discussed. Indeed, the DC Studios co-chief also provided more details on why Milly Alcock was cast as Supergirl, how director Craig Gillespie positively fought to include certain scenes in the superhero flick, and the initial text that Jason Momoa sent to Gunn to persuade him to let Momoa play Lobo. It's a continuation of that final conversation that'll pique the interest of DC devotees. Indeed, as co-host/comic book expert Coy Jandreau mentioned during the podcast's latest installment, the original draft for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow's eight-part literary series was set to feature the immortal, motorbike-riding bounty hunter. Tom King, who wrote the graphic novel, confirmed this was the case in an interview with in February 2023. Given Lobo was due to appear in King and Bilquis Evely's comic book series before he was eventually cut from the story, plus the fact that Momoa will play the last surviving Czarnian in Supergirl, Landreau asked if the forthcoming DCU Chapter One film would incorporate "some of the [comics'] original draft ideas" concerning how Lobo fits into the story that Supergirl will tell. "Woman of Tomorrow, in the comics, is a bunch of little stories," Gunn said, "And we needed to create one through-line, one three-act, more traditional story. So, Lobo helps us to do that. "It's not an amalgamation of him and Krem," Gunn added about rumors that Lobo and Krem would somehow be combined into a single character. "He [Lobo] is a totally separate character. I love Lobo. I always thought he was a great character to adapt and, maybe, in some way, the biggest comic book character that's never been in a film.
