Gino D'Acampo 'to sell £4.2m mansion' amid TV comeback plan after 'tough time'

TV chef Gino D'Acampo has put his £4.2million Hertfordshire mansion up for sale, it has been claimed. The star took a step away from public life following allegations of sexually inappropriate behaviour aimed at him - claims he strongly denies.
As a result former This Morning host Gino was removed from ITV's programming in February. ITV reported that dozens of former staff and freelancers made allegations about working with Gino, calling his behaviour over a reported 12 year period 'unacceptable,' 'distressing,' and 'horrendous'.

Since the allegations, his shows have been pulled from ITV's schedule. Gino, 48, 'firmly denied' accusations of inappropriate behaviour including using sexualised and aggressive language over a period of 12 years made following an ITV News investigation, and it has been reported he is using his time to flog his property.

He put the Grade II listed seven-bedroom Georgian property on the market on Friday, sources state, and is preparing to sell the Hertfordshire mansion he shares with wife Jessica and his three children Luciano, 23, Rocco, 20, and Mia, 13.
The family have overseen a huge restoration project and could be about to cash in. Mirror Online has approached his reps for confirmation.
A source told MailOnline: "Gino's had a tough time lately so selling the family home will also add to the sadness. Himself and Jessica put so much work into turning the property into their dream home." Gino is battling to save his TV career after being hit with the accusations.
He said the claims against him were 'simply not in my nature'. Amid the reports, it was claimed Gordon Ramsay, his co-star in Gordon, Gino and Fred's Road Trip, had distanced himself from the presenter.
But Gino insists they're still firm friends. Now the Italian presenter has revealed plans to return to telly with a new travelogue, to be filmed later this year.

Responding to the claims in their entirety in a statement to ITV News, Gino said: "I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago. I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied.
"I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.

"Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.
"I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of. I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting."
Gino made some crass remarks in radio interview last week as he returns to spotlight. In sexualised comments about women's bodies, he told show hosts that a "real man" wants women to have "things to grab", while explaining that he prefers a curvier figure.

It's a strange time for Jordan Gray right now. On the one hand, she's got a brilliant new sitcom coming out on ITV – several years in the making – and is heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a long-anticipated follow-up to her Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated 2022 show, Is it a Bird? On the other, well, as anyone with a sense of humanity will know, it's a scary time to be trans. First, the good news: Transaction, her TV show, is brilliant. Written by and starring Jordan, it's a six-part sitcom set in a supermarket night shift. She plays Liv, an affirmative action transgender hire who turns out to be a nightmare, but they can't get rid of her because, as the comedian puts it: 'What could be worse than firing a transgender person?' To say Liv is a nightmare is an understatement. She can be spiky, manipulative, punishing and lazy; it's refreshing to see a trans character not being presented as 'a suffering saint or a sexualised villain', as Jordan puts it. Liv does have an arc, though. 'She's a lone wolf character but really just wants to have a family, and then she finds this little weird dysfunctional family,' says Jordan. As in many of the best sitcoms, the cast is made up of characters thrown together from different walks of life (including Nick Frost as the relatable manager who's well-meaning and tries his best to be an ally but doesn't always get it right). And it's no accident that it has, in places, some of the spirit of Community (the surreal NBC sitcom set in a community college) and Tina Fey's 30 Rock. 'Those are my two favourite shows of all time,' says Jordan. 'So it has to hold up to that standard of joke frequency and ideally joke quality.' All those years of doing live comedy have taught her that making people laugh is absolutely the priority, and whatever agenda there is in there has to come second. 'When it feels like our lives are being made functionally unlivable, suddenly ITV's putting a transgender person right on the screen at that prime time, and that's really cool. It's a lovely signal for transgender people that we're not going anywhere. In fact, we've got to bop and weave and survive this next bit,' she says. 'When society has given you the signals that it's maybe time to throw in the towel because it's just going to get harder and harder, there's always dark thoughts in the background. And we're trying to be civil and trying to be happy all the time, trying to put on a brave face on it. I'm proud of myself and the work I've done, and everything is still underpinned with joy.' Family of chef who died on Mike Lynch's yacht say ‘lessons need to be learned'

Seven people died when the Bayesian sank off Porticello in Sicily on August 19, including billionaire Mr Lynch, 59, and his daughter Hannah, 18. On Monday the 56-metre (184ft) boat was placed in a manufactured steel cradle in Termini Imerese, a town where British and Italian investigators will carry out a full probe into the sinking. A source close to the salvage team said: 'Everyone is glad to have reached the conclusion of this major part of the project.' A crane lifts tech tycoon Mike Lynch's superyacht the Bayesian (Peter Byrne/PA) The family of Canadian-Antiguan national Recaldo Thomas, 59, a chef who died on the vessel, said they now await the UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB)'s analysis of the yacht. James Healy-Pratt, a partner at Keystone Law, on behalf of the Thomas Family, said: 'Lessons need to be learned from this tragedy, as well as establishing the truth of what happened and bringing those responsible to justice.' Italian prosecutors have said raising and examining the yacht will provide key information for its investigation into the sinking. Simon Graves, an MAIB investigator, previously told the PA news agency: 'When the wreck is brought ashore, we'll be completing a full examination of the wreck and we'll be finding out all of the elements that might have contributed to the safety of the vessel.' Further details such as 'escape routes' will be included in its final report on the sinking, according to Mr Graves, who added: 'Once we get access to the vessel we'll be able to tell a fuller picture of activities on board and the sequence of events.' Balloon-like kit will be used to lift the Bayesian's mast this week. The 72-metre (236ft) mast was cut off using a remote-controlled tool and rested on the seabed. About 70 specialist personnel had been mobilised to Porticello from across Europe to work on the recovery operation. Inquest proceedings in the UK are looking at the deaths of Mr Lynch and his daughter Hannah as well as Morgan Stanley International bank chairman Jonathan Bloomer, 70, and his wife, Judy Bloomer, 71, who were all British nationals. The others who died in the sinking were US lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda Morvillo. Fifteen people, including Mr Lynch's wife, Angela Bacares, were rescued.

I can't believe my baby is having a baby!" ‌ Coleen concluded by congratulating her daughter and future son-in-law over the news that they are expecting a baby.
