According to TMZ, which cited multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation, the son of Cher and the late Gregg Allman was released "mid-week"

Multiple sources tell PEOPLE that the 48-year-old son of Cher and the late Gregg Allman is no longer at the California medical facility he was brought to on Saturday, June 14.
According to TMZ, which cited multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation, Allan was released "mid-week." The outlet was the first to report the news.
Legal representatives for Elijah, as well as a representative for Cher, did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Sunday, June 22.

Allman was initially rushed to the hospital on June 14, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department (SBCSD) previously confirmed to PEOPLE.
Authorities said Allman — who is professionally known as P. Exeter Blue, and is one of the founding members of the metal band Deadsy — was "acting erratically."
Police added that "deputies located drugs inside the home" where Allman was found, and he was then "transported to the hospital."
The investigation into the situation, the California-based police department said, remains "ongoing."

After Allman was hospitalized, his estranged wife, Marieangela King Allman, expressed her support for him in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE.
'While it is true that Elijah has faced personal challenges in the past, one constant has been his unwavering commitment to sobriety and his loyalty to those he loves," she said.
"Like many, he continues to confront his inner struggles — but it is important to recognize that he does so from a place of strength, not defeat," Marieangela continued. "Despite the assumptions that often color how his journey is portrayed, the reality is that Elijah remains grounded, focused and deeply committed to living with integrity and purpose."
"I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him," she added. "My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show."
Not long after, a source told PEOPLE that Cher, 79, was focused on helping her son heal. (The "Believe" musician is also a mom to Chaz Bono, who was born in 1969 to the star and her then-husband Sonny Bono.)
'Like all mothers, she's doing everything she can to help her son and help him get well,' the insider said, referring to Cher and her youngest son.

Elijah's hospital stay came amid a tumultuous past few years for the star. In December 2023, Cher filed for a temporary conservatorship over her son's estate due to Elijah's alleged substance abuse and declining mental health. (She and Elijah eventually reached a private agreement, and Cher voluntarily dismissed her petition for conservatorship in September 2024.)
Prior to that, Elijah's estranged wife made allegations of Cher hiring four men to kidnap him. The accusations became public as part of the former pair's divorce proceedings, but Cher responded to the allegations, telling PEOPLE, 'That rumor is not true,' and declining to comment further.

Pittsburgh police, other law enforcement agencies called to disperse large crowd on South Side
Pittsburgh police say they had to call in extra help from neighboring law enforcement agencies early Sunday morning to safely disperse a large crowd of people who had gathered on East Carson Street. No one was injured and no property was damaged, but before that, the South Side Entertainment Patrol made several arrests. Some were gun-related, others had to do with fights. Citations were given for public intoxication, underage drinking, and public urination. Big crowds on East Carson are nothing new at 2 a.m. for South Side neighbors. "I didn't bat an eyebrow about it," a resident who goes by Vinny said. Vinny says the crowds pick up each weekend after he and most others are already asleep, around the time bars close up. "It happens because everyone is intoxicated, everyone's drinking," he added. In Sunday's case, police had to call in help from surrounding departments to clear out what they estimated was a crowd of 1,500 to 2,000 people, with some of them fighting each other. Once help from other departments arrived, police were able to quickly clear the crowd, a statement from Pittsburgh Public Safety said. "It's a shame because this has been going on for five years. We know where and when it's happening, and the city can't stop it," said business owner Rich Cupka. "We have a lack of police. We're 150, 200 short." Cupka says the fact that the police couldn't clear the crowd on their own proves his point. "Law and order would take over if you had enough police to police the area," Cupka added. Then-Police Chief Larry Scirroto said in September 2024 that the problem on the South Side isn't due to a lack of officers, but rather bars aren't being held accountable. "I'm thankful that we have a level of cooperation to hold problematic business owners accountable," Scirotto said in September. "For far too long, some of the businesses over there, and there are just a few to be quite honest, that operate in a manner that they don't take accountability for the actions and behavior of their patrons, as if once those individuals get outside, it's the responsibility of the police and not the responsibility of the bar ownership to regulate the type of client they solicit and more importantly, their behavior." Cupka disagrees, saying that while certain bars are an issue, the lack of police is the main problem. "I don't see any relief in sight," Cupka said. On the weekends, 25 police officers are assigned to the South Side in addition to the 10 that are part of the Entertainment Patrol. Business owners say overall crime on the South Side is down, and Vinny believes the unfortunate reality is that the South Side has gotten a bad rap. "Everybody just have a drink. Come to the South Side. It's all good down here," he said, adding that visitors shouldn't let what happens late at night keep them from visiting.

SUV hits Chicago police squad car, 3 other cars on West Side
A sport-utility vehicle hit a Chicago police squad car and three other vehicles in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Sunday evening, police said. At 6:23 p.m., a Chevrolet Equinox was headed west on Monroe Street when it hit a marked police car that was traveling south on Kostner Avenue. The Equinox also hit a Dodge headed south on Kostner Avenue, police said. Two parked Hyundais were also struck, police said. Police did not have information about injuries. Charges were pending late Sunday against the driver of the Chevy Equinox, police said.
