Lord Henry passed away on Wednesday, June 18 in St. James's Hospital following a long battle with cancer.
His official title was the Most Honourable Henry Vivien Pierpoint Conyngham, 8th Marquess Conyngham.
He was best known for hosting four decades of shows at Slane Castle, as well as the Slane whiskey brand that he and his family created.

The Corrs star Caroline Corr has paid an emotional tribute in the wake of the death of Lord Henry Mount Charles as his funeral details have been announced. The Dundalk native was among the hundreds to pay tribute to the Slane Castle boss, who died on June 18 at the age of 74. Captioning a video of Lord Henry on her social media, she told her 70,000 followers: "Lord Henry Mount Charles. The extraordinary legacy that changed the world of Irish entertainment." The Co Meath aristocrat's funeral will be held on Wednesday at midday at St Patrick's Church in Slane. It will also stream online, with his family warning: "Due to very limited space inside the church, seating will be reserved and allocated for the family, with provision made for those outside." The chapel is being reserved for his family and guests because it is so small but the public are also invited to come and pay their respects. His son Alex Conyngham told the Sunday Independent of his last conversation with his father. "We talked late into the night, just the two of us, and it included my father putting some steel in my back for the future." Mount Charles told his son that, in taking over responsibility for Slane Castle, "at times it would be incredibly challenging and there may come times where you feel like it's too much to bear." Conyngham said his father added that "those are precisely the moments where you have to dig in and remember what your responsibilities are and fight to find the light at the end of the tunnel — the light will always be there". The grounds of Slane Castle in Co Meath were opened to the public on Saturday to allow people celebrate the life of Lord Henry Mount Charles, who died earlier this week . The 74-year-old, who is best known for staging rock concerts at his home in Slane, died at St James's Hospital on Wednesday from cancer. He was first diagnosed with lung cancer more than a decade ago. In a statement, his son Alex Conyngham, the Marquess Conyngham, expressed his gratitude for the 'countless expressions of sympathy and shared memories'.
