Oregon, Penn State and Notre Dame are the front-runners for the four-star cornerback from Towson (Md.) Loyola Blakefield and he will visit all three of those programs in June. South Carolina is definitely right there as well and he'll be in Columbia for that first June visit weekend.

Maryland and Michigan are hanging in there and Adams could schedule a trip to one of those two as well.
Colorado and Florida are 'for sure' standing out most for the four-star defensive back from Brandon, Miss., although some still believe he could end up in-state with Ole Miss involved there, too.
As for visits, Ashley has Auburn in mid-June followed by Colorado on the last weekend of trips as a few standouts have definitely emerged.
West Virginia, Duke and Notre Dame have taken the lead for the three-star athlete from Mesquite (Texas) North Forney and he has trips planned to see the Blue Devils first in late May and is working on visits with the other two for June.

Bey will also take an official to Tennessee in June as those four programs are emerging as the leaders right now.
After his sixth visit to Georgia over the weekend and a commitment coming Tuesday, the word is the Bulldogs would be shocked if they weren't the pick. Miami has put together a massive NIL package and Oregon has intrigued him.
But this final trip to Athens has the feel of putting finishing touches for the five-star offensive tackle, not to figure out unanswered questions.
A new offer from Oklahoma is big for the 2027 high three-star offensive lineman from Southlake (Texas) Carroll especially since position coach Bill Bedenbaugh has such an excellent history developing players across the offensive line.

Dare's recruitment remains decently open as he's taken a ton of visits this offseason and is planning to visit Texas and Florida soon.
Alabama, Oregon, Clemson and Tennessee would like him to take trips as well.
It's looking unlikely that the four-star defensive end from St. Louis (Mo.) De Smet takes an official visit to Missouri, which means Davis could be heading out of state.
Alabama, Michigan, Nebraska and Texas A&M look to be the visit destinations for Davis and it sounds like one of those four will end up landing the standout edge rusher.
Colorado has entered the scene for the four-star quarterback from Mission Viejo, Calif., as the Buffaloes offered but Fahey is still not certain if he'll take an official visit there.

Stanford remains the top contender for Fahey and the additions of GM Andrew Luck and coach Frank Reich, even in a shortened role, is a big selling point for the Cardinal.
Fitzgerald has camped at Notre Dame a couple times and now the coaches came out to see him at spring practice so the new Irish offer is one he felt he earned. That's a big deal for the four-star receiver from Phoenix (Ariz.) Brophy Prep as Notre Dame is 'definitely' now a program he's seriously considering, along with many others.
The message from the Alabama coaches to the current USC commit is that they want to coach him to be the best but even if they don't get to, they want to still be a part of his life and that made a big impact on him.

The four-star linebacker from Gainesville, Ga., remains committed to USC since July but others are definitely coming on strong.

The three-star quarterback from La Jolla (Calif.) Bishops committed to Iowa in early October and his relationship with offensive coordinator Tim Lester is very strong but the word in recent days is that some other visits could be happening.
Cal offered on Friday and the expectation is for Herrera to get to Berkeley sooner rather than later as the Hawkeyes have some competition now.

The four-star defensive back from Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin has been committed to Michigan since late July but a full round of official visits are coming up.

Starting in mid-May and going through June, Jennings will be at Auburn, Miami, Florida, Georgia and Michigan before having a better idea about his final decision. His sister runs track at Miami and all those programs are making a run at him.

The 2027 safety from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly remains very open in his recruitment especially this early and with so many schools getting involved. But three are standing out at this point.
Miami, Arizona and USC have made an early move with Mack and that could have a big impact moving forward.
A new offer from Georgia will definitely be one to watch for the 2027 four-star offensive tackle from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas especially since Matthews knows how well the Bulldogs develop players from his position.
That will be big moving forward for one of the top offensive linemen in the 2027 class with Tennessee, Nebraska and Oklahoma as the other standouts.
McKeogh has flipped his dates for Penn State and Notre Dame only because it lined up when other top offensive recruits would be in South Bend and Happy Valley as those two remain the front-runners in his recruitment.
Recent offers from Alabama and Ohio State are intriguing but it definitely seems like a two-team race right now for the Philadelphia (Pa.) LaSalle four-star offensive lineman.
The four-star all-purpose back from Honey Grove, Texas, remains committed to Baylor and he has a great relationship with position coach Khenon Hall but others are pushing.

A visit to Oklahoma is very possible in June but a big trip to Stanford is coming up at the end of May as the Cardinal are pushing very hard to flip the four-star.

Offers have been flooding in for the 2027 cornerback from Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley and a few standouts have emerged. SMU remains pretty high on his list as the Mustangs have been involved for so long.
Notre Dame, Oregon and TCU also are standing out a ton.
A new offer from Georgia is huge as well and the word is the Bulldogs have moved maybe into his top three. Oregon is an offer Outhouse wants.
Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Texas are the five standouts for the four-star tight end from Bowdon, Ga., and three of them are recruiting him the hardest at this point.
This could end up being a two-team street fight between Auburn and Georgia until the end but Florida is intriguing to him very much as well. Prothro is expected to visit all five in June.
Over the last few days, Georgia and Texas have offered the three-star Georgia Tech cornerback commit from Quitman (Ga.) Brooks County. It will be something to watch, considering the success of the Bulldogs and the Longhorns. But the word now is that Stevenson remains happily locked in with the Yellow Jackets.

Notre Dame Commit Profile: Cornerback Khary Adams
Notre Dame Commit Profile: Cornerback Khary Adams originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Notre Dame picked up a huge commitment when big time cornerback Khary Adams pledged to the Fighting Irish. It was a big recruiting win for Notre Dame, who is building yet another elite secondary class. Let's take a look at the recruiting profile for Adams. KHARY ADAMS PROFILE Hometown/High School: Towson, Md./Loyola Blakefield Advertisement Height/Weight: 6-2, 180 IB Grade: 4.0 (Top 100 caliber prospect) Upside Grade: 5.0 (Top 35 caliber prospect) Player Comp: Cam Hart, Notre Dame Recruited By: Mike Mickens Offers: Notre Dame, Clemson, LSU, Oregon, Florida State, Michigan, Penn State, USC, Tennessee, Miami (Fla.), Oklahoma, Auburn, South Carolina, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, West Virginia, NC State, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Virginia, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Minnesota, Arizona, Maryland, Rutgers RECRUITING RANKINGS On3: 4-star - No. 30 overall - No. 3 corner 247Sports: 4-star - No. 36 overall - No. 3 corner ESPN: 4-star - No. 68 overall - No. 9 corner Rivals: 4-star - No. 246 overall - No. 19 corner On3 Consensus: 4-star - No. 67 overall - No. 8 corner 247Sports Composite: 4-star - No. 75 overall - No. 9 corner NOTRE DAME FIT There are several attributes that Mike Mickens has consistently looked for at the cornerback position, and Adams grades out well in each of those areas. His combination of length, speed and football IQ all grade out well. He has all the tools you want in a high-level pure cover player. Mickens also likes two-way players and Adams is also an impact high school wide receiver. Adams has the range, cover instincts and tackling potential to thrive as a field cornerback. He also has the length, speed and instincts to grow into a dominant boundary cornerback. That positional flexibility is a big reason why Adams fits so well into the Notre Dame defense. FILM ANALYSIS The length that Mickens has added to the secondary in recent recruiting cycles has been incredibly impressive, and that continues with the pickup of Adams. At 6-2 he certainly has excellent height, but Adams also has the arm length to match. That makes him an incredibly difficult player to throw the ball over or around. Adams is on the lean side right now and he's listed at 180 pounds, but he has a solid frame that reminds me a lot of former Notre Dame cornerback Cam Hart, who was 6-3 and skinny in high school but grew into a 205-pound player for the Irish. I could see Adams eventually getting to the 200-pound mark as well. Advertisement Adams is an excellent all-around athlete that has all the physical traits you want in a cornerback. He has top notch foot quickness and agility, which allows him to change direction with ease and impressive quickness. He can plant and drive on the football as well as any cornerback in the class. Adams has loose hips and transitions with ease as well, showing the kind of open-and-run skills you need to play man coverage. Adams also has elite speed, both from an initial quickness standpoint and second gear. When he commits to going full speed he gets to his top gear in a hurry, and his long speed is tremendous. He covers a ton of ground and he's able to overcome mistakes much easier than most cornerbacks because of his combination of elite length and speed. With Notre Dame potentially looking to play more zone coverage, Adams also needs to be able to handle that part of the game as well. One could argue that his unique skillset projects just as well to being a zone defender. His length and speed allows him to cover a ton of ground in off zone coverages (Cover 3, Cover 4), and his ability to redirect and close so well should allow him to be incredibly difficult to throw at in those zone looks. His length and foot quickness also gives him traits to be a difficult player to throw over in the tighter zone looks like Cover 2. That all-around ability is why his upside is so high. Adams will need a lot of technical at the next level, which is why picking Notre Dame is such a good move for him. That's where Mickens thrives, and Adams will benefit greatly from that tutelage. Adams gets by on elite talent right now, but he's a two-way player for his high school, which makes it harder for him to master the technique at one spot. That's not a knock on his prep coaching, as the coaches should absolutely use him both ways. It just means he'll have more to learn once he focuses on one position. He'll also need to learn to better use his length to his advantage when playing press and re-routing receivers. Adams is a willing tackler but he's more of a form tackler than a thumper like Hart or Moore. He'll need to not only fill out but also improve his upper body strength. His play strength is one of the areas where he grades out the lowest. That will come in time as he gets into the college weight program and continues to physically mature. The fact he's not afraid to stick his nose into traffic is important, because once the strength comes his impact in the run game will be much improved. Prediction made for 4-Star Oregon Ducks WR target to land with rival Big Ten school
The Oregon Ducks hosted several highly-rated recruits on official visits in Eugene this weekend, many of whom they are in a great position to land over the next several weeks. While on said visit, one of those targets — 4-star wide receiver Jalen Lott — picked up a prediction to land with a rival Big Ten school, though. According to Texas Longhorns On3 reporter Eric Nahlin, the expectation is that Lott will end up with the USC Trojans in the end. His recruitment was coming down to a trio of Oregon, USC, and Texas, and there is a sense that the Longhorns are accepting that they are unlikely to land the blue-chip prospect who the 247Sports Composite rates as the No. 49 player in the 2026 class. While Nahlin's prediction is only rated at a 50% confidence level, it still indicates that there is recruiting intel available that suggests Lott, a Frisco, Texas native, may be leaning towards the Trojans. Before this latest prediction, it was Oregon and Texas who were considered the favorites. However, Lott's sister, Falyn, runs track at USC, so there is a family pull there. We will see after the official visit this weekend how much of a push the Ducks can make in Lott's commitment, and how the chips will stack up before his expected commitment date of July 8. Brandon Nimmo's solo home run (14)
Carlos Mendoza, Francisco Lindor and Ronny Mauricio on 'great night' for Mets offense in win over Rockies The Mets finally had a "great night" offensively, according to manager Carlos Mendoza, but perhaps the most impressive display was Ronny Mauricio's 465-foot solo blast that landed in the third deck. Mendoza and Francisco Lindor couldn't recall ever seeing a player hit a HR up there, while Mauricio tried to "enjoy the moment." The rest of the lineup contributed some timely hits, including Brandon Nimmo and Luis Torrens. Starter Clay Holmes escaped several jams and gutted out six innings in the Mets' 8-1 win. 5:38 Now Playing Paused Ad Playing
