ALL THE WAYS OF REDUCING AMAZON PRIME BILL
Option 1
One easy option is to just switch to annual billing if you can afford it.
That means you only pay £95 for a year of membership, versus the £107.88 you pay for monthly billing.
That saves you £12.88 a year, equivalent to about six weeks of membership.

Option 2
Another way to reduce your bill is to simply pay for Amazon Prime Video on its own.

You'll miss out on all of the other Amazon perks, but you get the TV, which is one of the best bits of membership.
For Prime Video, you'll just pay £5.99 a month – or £71.88 over the course of the year.
That's a saving of £36 annually versus paying for Amazon Prime every month.
Option 3
Now we're getting into the very cheap options.
Amazon has a special budget membership called Prime for Students and 18-22 Year Olds.
(Amazon Prime Student –

If you're verifying simply by age then you'll need a valid passport or driving licence.
This will bring your Amazon Prime membership down to just £4.49 a month.
HOW TO ENROL IF YOU'RE A STUDENT WITH NO OFFICIAL EMAIL
Here's what you need to know...
If you don't have an official recognised email for your university or college, there's still hope.
You can send proof of age and enrolment to amazon-student-verification@amazon.co.uk.
Make sure that you're messaging from the email address linked to your Amazon UK account (and that the account has an up-to-date payment method).
And attach a scan, photo, or screenshot of either:
A valid NUS Extra, NUS Apprentice Extra, TOTUM, TOTUM Student or TOTUM Apprentice card (must show your name, institution, and date of expiry). Please note that TOTUM Pro/Professional or UNiDAYS ID cards are not accepted.
A proof of student status letter (must be printed on official institution headed paper and include student name and address, course details and start date, expected graduation/completion date).
A tuition bill for the current term (must include institution name, course details and start date, student address).
A tuition invoice for the current term with your name and your institution's name on it.
An official acceptance letter for the upcoming term (must be printed on official institution headed paper and include student name and address, course details and enrollment date, expected graduation/completion date).
If you're eligible then you should get an email back in a few days to help you complete your sign-up.

That's half price, working out at a lowly £53.88 a year.
Option 4
Cheaper still is the annual version of this discounted Amazon Prime subscription.
If you're on this cheaper plan, you can pay a one-off fee of £47.49 for a full year of membership.
That's £60.39 less annually than paying for full Prime every month.
Option 5
Normally Amazon Prime includes a 30-day free trial.
But on the Prime for Students and 18-22 Year Olds plan, you can claim an extended six-month trial.

Prime Student is one of the cheapest ways to get Amazon Prime

That means in your first year, you're only paying for the final six months of membership.
So if you're paying monthly, you only end up paying £26.94 in that first 12-month period.
And if you pay annually, you would still have to pay £47.49, but you're technically only paying £23.75 for that first year – because the first six months were free.
These two options mean you're paying around a quarter of the full price for a monthly Amazon Prime membership.
BONUS: EASY MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT
Want even cheaper Prime? There's a handy discount available...
If you're a Vodafone customer, you can bag three months of Prime for a quid.
Yes, it's one of the VeryMe Rewards, which you can access through Vodafone's app.
It gets you three months of full Amazon Prime membership for just £1.
That's a massive saving compared to the usual cost of Prime.
Of course, you'll be billed at the usual membership rate once the deal expires.
The deal is due to expire on February 28, 2026.

But Fabulous Digital Senior Reporter and mum-of-two Sarah Bull shares five ways to help, and they won't break the budget either. Strip them off It might sound simple, but stripping kids off at home can really help them regulate their temperature when it's warm outside. Just remember to regularly apply suncream, as more of their skin will be exposed to the sun. Cool down bedrooms before nighttime When it's hot outside, it can be difficult for kids to go to sleep - especially if their bedroom feels like an oven. If you have a room that's not in direct sunshine, keep the windows open to let in a breeze. It's also a good idea to keep the curtains closed, to prevent the room from heating up. Wear a hat Another simple technique, but one that really works. Make sure that if your kids are playing outside, they've got a hat on. It keeps their face and head shielded from the sun, and also helps if you've got a little one who struggles with bright sunlight. If your tot struggles to keep a hat on, try one with a strap that goes under the chin to help. Avoid the car The car can be one of the hottest places during a heatwave, and often takes a long time to cool down. If you have the option, it's better to stay at home rather than taking kids out anywhere in a hot car. Stay hydrated This is always important, but even more so in a heatwave. Make sure you're regularly reminding your kids to have a drink, and top them up with cool liquids whenever you can. Use ice too to ensure it's as cold as it can possibly be. However, whilst we all love , it can make us feel a little sticky and sweaty especially when trying to sleep at night. Jeff Bezos' $500m luxury superyacht heads to Venice for world's most lavish wedding as he ties knot with Lauren Sanchez
BILLIONAIRE Jeff Bezos is set to tie the knot with fiancée Lauren Sanchez - kicking off lavish celebrations aboard his $500 million superyacht. The couple will be joined by their celebrity friends ahead of their wedding aboard the yacht in Venice's waters this Friday. 4 The wedding is set to take place aboard Bezos' $500million superyacht, Koru, in Venice, Italy 4 Around 200 guests are expected to attend Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez' lavish wedding 4 Koru took five years to build The week-long pre-wedding festivities are estimated to cost roughly $15 to $20 million (£12 to £16 million). Around 200 guests are expected to attend the wedding of the 61-year-old Amazon founder and 55-year-old journalist fiancée. Ahead of the wedding in Venice, local activists displayed large protest banners, reading 'No Space for Bezos' and 'If You Can Rent Venice for Your Wedding You Can Pay More Tax'. They have also staged canal-blocking and waterside protests in a bid to stop the world's richest man from tying the knot in their city. Read more world news Organiser Federica Toninello told The New York Times that protesters have obtained leaked details of the couple's schedule and plan to disrupt events - including one reportedly set for the historic Misericordia. Toninello told a crowd of 300 people: "Bezos will never get to the Misericordia", adding, "We will line the streets with our bodies, block the canals with lifesavers, dinghies and our boats." Protesters say tourism in Venice has driven housing costs sky-high, forcing many locals out of the region. But the couple's wedding organisers, Lanza & Baucina Limited, earlier hit back at suggestions that the couple's lavish wedding plans are not respectful of locals. Most read in The US Sun The organisers said in a statement to Page Six: "From the outset, instructions from our client and our own guiding principles were abundantly clear: the minimising of any disruption to the city, the respect for its residents and institutions and the overwhelming employment of locals in the crafting of the events." The wedding planning company has worked with stars like George and Amal Clooney, as well as Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault. $500m superyacht, $32k-night-hotels & a $2m ring… inside the Bezos wedding of the century in world's most beautiful city Bezos proposed to Sánchez in 2023 aboard the yacht, presenting her with a 20-carat pink diamond ring worth $2.5 million. The luxury vessel, Koru - named after the Māori word for 'loop' or 'coil' - symbolises new beginnings. Measuring 417 feet in length with three towering masts over 230 feet high, Koru is currently the world's largest sailing yacht, according to Boat International. The superyacht can reach speeds of up to 17 knots per hour, powered by twin, 1,500hp MTU diesel engines. It cruises comfortably at 15 knots - about 2.25 knots faster than the average for similar vessels. Said to have been first commissioned by Bezos in 2018, the yacht was built by Dutch yacht maker Oceanco near Rotterdam and delivered to Gibraltar in April 2023. The superyacht's support vessel reportedly added another $75 million to the already staggering $500 million cost. Its exterior design was completed by Dutch company Dykstra Naval Architects, while London-based company Mlinaric, Henry & Zervudachi completed its interior design. Koru can host up to 18 guests in nine staterooms, along with around 36 crew members. Its full features remain unclear, but Architectural Digest reports that Koru includes multiple outdoor lounging areas, three jacuzzis and a swimming pool . 4 Koru is the world's tallest ship
