Daisy Ridley isn't a 'badly behaved' actor
Daisy Ridley is adamant she isn't a Hollywood "a*******".
The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' actress admits she knows some actors behave badly but she insists she's different because she always "turns up on time", works hard and knows her lines.
She told The Independent newspapeR: "I'm not an a*******! That seems like a funny thing to say, but over time, you realise people [in Hollywood] behave really badly. I'm hardworking; I turn up on time; I know my lines; I know where I need to be."
Daisy shot to international stardom after landing the lead role in the 2015 'Star Wars' instalment, and she admits it was "stressful" to be catapulted into the spotlight when she was in her early 20s but she feels grateful for the opportunities it gave her.
She added: "I don't think it was 'Star Wars' itself that caused stress. It was being a 20-year-old who was cast in something that a lot of people watch – suddenly standing in a spotlight ..
"I don't think I've been pigeonholed. Honestly, I think 'Star Wars' has given me choices. It's why I have the career I have."
Daisy is set to reprise her role as Rey in another 'Star Wars' movie called 'Star Wars: New Jedi Order' which has been shrouded in secrecy - and the actress is adamant she's happy about returning to the sci-fi franchise.
She added: "Time has not changed how I feel [about 'Star Wars']. If I didn't feel excited by the story, I wouldn't be doing it."
Daisy previously opened up about the project in an interview with Collider, saying: "I don't know if I'd be a producer on it, but certainly I have been very involved. Well, not very involved, but I'm involved in as much as I know what's going on.
"I know the story. I know what's going on with the script. So, I'm aware of all of that."
The 'Cleaner' star added: "What's been really wonderful over the last few years is being more involved from the start to the finish, is really coming to set knowing this is the absolute best way we can tell this story, these are the best actors for the job, this is the best crew for the job. Having that confidence is so lovely.
"And it's not that I didn't have that before, but I'm much more cognizant of it now. So, in that way, I'm looking forward to turning up really knowing the ins and outs and what the journey has been, and we're arriving at the absolute best place to tell this particular story."

Aaron Taylor-Johnson hails director Danny Boyle's 28 Years Later approach
Aaron Taylor-Johnson says the 28 Years Later cast were given "freedom of space to make mistakes" by director Danny Boyle. The 35-year-old actor plays Jamie in the new post-apocalyptic horror movie and praised the experimental approach that the acclaimed filmmaker took to the project. Aaron told Collider: "I think most days were definitely a new experience for me, and for us. Very creative. He was experimenting with these different cameras and different rigs and stuff, and not always with a sense of, like, 'This is how it's going to work.' "Some things he'd be like, 'Look, I don't know', and that was quite refreshing because it meant that there was this freedom of space to make mistakes, but be creative and find something new. "He's exceptional. When you're in the hands of Danny, he's got such an enthusiasm and this great energy, he really makes you feel in the safest of hands." Aaron features alongside Jodie Comer in the film with the pair as married couple Jamie and Isla – with Alfie Williams portraying their 12-year-old son Spike – and revealed that he and the Killing Eve actress spoke at length about the background to their characters in the flick that marks the latest installment of the 28 Days Later franchise. Amy Poehler admits to starring in 'inappropriate' sketches
Amy Poehler has appeared in some "inappropriate" sketches on Saturday Night Live. The 53-year-old actress starred on the hit comedy show between 2001 and 2008 - but Amy now acknowledges that some of her sketches haven't aged well. During an appearance on the Good Hang podcast, Will Forte - Amy's former co-star - explained: "There are so many things I look back now and I go — you think, 'Oh, it's all about getting a laugh.'" Amy then said: "Agree. The part about getting older and being in comedy, is you have to figure out everything has an expiration date." The actress subsequently acknowledged that she made lots of mistakes during her time on Saturday Night Live. Amy was reminded on her errors during the 50th anniversary episode of the TV show, which featured a "cancelled and tasteless jokes" segment. Amy said: "They had that segment, which was like, 'Here's all the ways we got things wrong.' And they showed way inappropriate casting for people. We all played people that we should not have played. "I misappropriated. I appropriated. I didn't know. I did know. It's very real, and the best thing you can do is make repair, learn from your mistakes, do better — it's all you can do." Meanwhile, Amy previously admitted that she struggles to be funny in a "dysfunctional" environment. The actress has very fond memories of her time on Saturday Night Live and that's created a blueprint for her entire career. Amy - who also starred in the hit TV sitcom Parks and Recreation - told The Independent: "You do not need to have a chaotic or dysfunctional work environment to be funny or to be creative. "I don't do great with people who want to fracture that feeling. "I either get really defensive or really protective - I've got my stuff to work on. But I think once you prove that it works, it's pretty hard to go back. "I've sometimes gone to other places and I'm like, 'Babe, it does not have to be this way - I've seen the other side, we don't need to kill each other to make great stuff.'"
