Who Is Joining Young & Restless This Week? New & Returning Cast Revealed
Amidst all the drama and chaos unfolding in The Young and the Restless, the show is set to introduce several exciting cast members this week. This includes some iconic characters from the show's past and some new faces ready to add some spice to the soap opera's narrative. So, who is joining The Young and the Restless cast this week? Let's find out! Here's a list of the new and returning actors joining The Young and the Restless cast for the June 16-21 week (via Soap Opera Digest): Perhaps one of the most iconic characters to return to The Young and the Restless, Michael Damian's Damian Romalotti dates back to 1981. Since his exit in 1998, Damian has returned to the show several times. He will reportedly share scenes with Daniel (Michael Graziadei), his son. But the rockstar's return is always greeted with glee by fans, and this instance should not be any different. Tessa Porter will also be in this week's The Young and the Restless. She will reportedly share scenes with Mariah, which can perhaps finally shed light on what is wrong with Camryn Grimes' character. This may also lead to some difficult scenes between the couple. A new entry on the list, Vincent Stalba, will join The Young and the Restless as Carter, Aristotle Dumas' assistant. As most fans already know, the show intends to reveal Aristotle's identity this week, and perhaps Carter has a big role to play there. Billy Flynn is set to join The Young and the Restless this week, but his role has not been disclosed yet. The Young and the Restless announced the casting months ago, but his role has remained a secret. As this week is also set to expose Aristotle Dumas, it has fans guessing. Many firmly believe that Billy Flynn will take over the role of Dumas. Flynn will continue his role in Days of Our Lives after joining The Young and the Restless. Coronation Street star in shock comeback months after quitting cobbles – and will clash with love rival
CORONATION Street is bringing back a fan-favourite character for a long stint this summer - and she's already started filming. The ITV soap has tempted scene-stealer Amy Robbins to reprise her role as Christina Boyd for a major new storyline. 2 2 Actress Amy made her apparently final exit as the nightmare mother of former Rovers barmaid Daisy Midgeley earlier this year as part of Daisy's exit storyline. But now The Sun can exclusively reveal that Amy is back playing Christina once again - and she'll be back on screen soon. A source said: 'Amy is back and has returned to filming. 'Obviously with Charlotte leaving it would have been easy to think you'd never see her again but the character is so juicy that everyone jumped at the chance to have her back. 'Christina will be back to her usual tricks causing chaos on the cobbles. 'There's going to be some incredible scenes with her and Jenny clashing. 'And this time she's back for a long stint. She returned to filming recently and she'll be back on screen later this summer. 'It's definitely going to be explosive.' Christina was last seen on the cobbles in May when her daughter Daisy got the better of her and took Jenny Connor's money for herself. While Daisy is now living the life of riley abroad on the cash, Christina was left penniless after trying to double-cross her daughter. And she'll be back in Weatherfield to come face to face with Jenny once more.

Neighbours set to turn up the heat with first-ever gay love triangle
As Neighbours faces its impending cancellation, the iconic soap opera isn't holding back, introducing its first-ever gay love triangle that promises to shake things up. The storyline sees Aaron (Matt Wilson), who is still reeling from the loss of his husband last year, entangled in a romantic web involving two exes: Rhett (Liam Maguire) and Colton (Jakob Ambrose). The trio's paths collided unexpectedly at a yoga class this week, igniting a competition for Aaron's affection. In a shock move, Aaron boldly decided to date both simultaneously, setting the stage for expected chaos. Actor Liam Maguire has shared his excitement about being involved in such a compelling storyline. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Reading the scripts I kept finding myself laughing and that felt like the most progressive thing about the storyline,' he told Yahoo Lifestyle. 'It's so confidently queer while being able to be funny and playful, because all the characters are entirely comfortable with who they are.' 'It definitely was something I recognised reading these scripts... that we were going to be given the chance to portray queer characters in a really fun, messy, playful, honest way,' Jakob Ambrose added. 'I think it's important all our colours are seen on screen - the happy family, but also the messiness it sometimes takes to get there. Working with Liam and competing in a way has been the best way to be forced to step it up.' Fans have taken to social media to praise the long-running soap opera for creating such an engaging story. 'Best scene in Neighbours I've ever watched. Absolutely hilarious, hats off to the writers,' one person wrote. 'The best thing on Neighbours for a long time,' a second added. It comes after the long-running soap opera was abruptly axed in February, after Amazon did not renew their contract with production company Fremantle Australia. In response to the shock announcement, an Amazon spokesperson told MailOnline: 'Neighbours has brought so much joy over the last 40 years to its fanbase globally. 'Forty years is an incredible milestone and we are proud that Amazon MGM Studios was able to have a small part of bringing further episodes to Freevee and Prime Video customers over the last two years.' In a heartwarming post, the crew assured fans that new episodes from the 40th anniversary season would continue to be broadcast on Prime Video and Ten, with 'all the big soapie twists and turns that our viewers love.' The show's Executive Producer Jason Herbison went on to celebrate the many years of Neighbours and the success it had experienced since its inception. 'Audiences all around the world have loved Neighbours for four decades. We are proud of the success over the last two years including often appearing as one of the Top 10 titles in the UK and the show's first ever Daytime Emmy nomination,' he said. 'As this chapter closes, we appreciate and thank Amazon MGM Studios for all that they have done for Neighbours – bringing this iconic and much-loved series to new audiences globally.' He ended the post, saying: 'We value how much the fans love Neighbours and we believe there are more stories of the residents of Ramsay Street to tell in the future.' The final ever episodes will air at the end of 2025 with fans forced to say goodbye to Ramsay Street for a second time, after first being axed in February 2022.

Shock exit for ANOTHER EastEnders character as he risks marriage to flee abroad
EASTENDERS has waved goodbye to another character in a shock exit in today's episode. The BBC soap has only just seen returnee Zoe Slater leave three days after her comeback - and now another member of the family is off to find her. 2 2 With Stacey telling Alfie that Zoe has done a moonlight flit to Barcelona on her credit cards, he came up with a plan. Telling her not to cancel them, he said they could track where she was with it and find her to bring her home for a reunion with her mum Kat. But with Alfie unable to tell Kat where he was really going, instead he lied and claimed he was going to Australia to see his brother Spencer who was struggling. And it's EastEnders, it's likely that Kat will discover his lies and jump to the wrong conclusion, putting their marriage at risk. It comes just a day after Zoe fled to Barcelona, after her brief return scenes. The BBC soap has confirmed that Michelle will return later this summer for a permanent comeback. EastEnders new boss, Executive Producer Ben Wadey added: 'Before I even stepped into the role, Zoe Slater was on my wish-list of returnees as, although we haven't seen her on screen for twenty years, her character has transcended time due to her popular storylines.' Speaking on her return to the BBC soap, Michelle said: 'It feels like coming home. 'After doing my first few scenes, it was like I'd never been away. 'It all happened at the right time. ' I'd already been thinking about a return because I'd met up with Kacey Ainsworth (Little Mo) and Kim Medcalf (Sam Mitchell) and we were reminiscing our fond memories of the show, and I'd also joined social media and saw that there was still a lot of love for the character. 'It just so happened that at the same time, EastEnders had announced a new Exec who was keen to explore the potential of a return as he was such a massive fan of Zoe and the Slaters, so both of our worlds aligned at the right time, and I'm so excited to be back. 'When I was pitched the storylines, and when I read the scripts, I knew it was the right decision.'
