Appeal after motorcyclist dies in Halsham crash, East Yorkshire
A man has died following a crash near Withernsea in East services were called to reports of a crash involving a BMW motorbike and white Toyota Yaris on the B1362 in Halsham at about 19:00 BST on motorcyclist, aged 27, died at the scene, Humberside Police family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. Police are appealing for anyone who has dashcam footage from around the time of the crash to get in touch. Tribute to 'remarkable' dad who died in crash on A6
Loved ones have paid tribute to an "incredible" dad who died in a collision on the A6 in Miller, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene in Market Harborough on 31 May after a collision involving his Yamaha motorbike and a grey Volkswagen Passat, police said. A 46-year-old man from Leicester was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was released while inquiries a statement released by Leicestershire Police, his family said they were "devastated he has gone too soon". He was described as a "loving partner, son, brother, uncle and friend" and an "incredible" statement added: "Trev would do anything to help others and would go out of his way to go above and beyond, whether this was in work, with family, or with friends."They said his passion was motorbikes but that his son was "his world, and he loved sharing this with him".The tribute added: "As a family, we are all devastated he has gone to soon, but we are so honoured to have been a part of his life."The force previously appealed for anyone with information about the crash - which happened on the A6 between the Harborough Road roundabout and Langton Road - to come forward.

Man who died after Walton-le-Dale motorbike crash was 'kind soul'
A "deeply loved" grandfather who died following a motorbike crash has been described by his family as "a kind and generous soul".Bernard Payne suffered a medical episode before falling from his Honda motorcycle on Victoria Road in Walton-le-Dale, near Preston, at about 14:45 BST on Monday, Lancashire Police 69-year-old died in hospital the next day "surrounded by his family".Mr Payne, who had eight grandchildren, will be "greatly missed [and] leaves behind a space no-one else can ever fill", his family said in their tribute. They said he was "a devoted husband to his late wife Susan"."Bernard's life was shaped by love, loyalty and family" and he was "the steady presence everyone could count on"."His passion for motorbikes was only matched by the love he had for his family."Police have thanked members of the public who assisted with first aid at the scene. A1 closed after motorbike and lorry crash
A major road in South Yorkshire has been closed in both directions due to a "serious collision" between a motorbike and a lorry. National Highways said the A1 was shut between junction 35 for Doncaster and junction 34 for Blyth, Worksop, following the crash earlier. "All emergency services are working at the scene with South Yorkshire Police leading the response at this stage," the agency added. Drivers have been told to expect delays, with diversions in place.
