Brazen Albanian drug dealer who posed flaunting £250k cash from heroin sales is allowed to stay in UK

AN ALBANIAN drug dealer who flaunted £250,000 in cash made from selling heroin has been allowed to stay in the UK. Olsi Beheluli, who was sentenced to 11 years behind bars in 2015, has been told he won't be deported. 4 4 The Albanian national, who arrived in England when he was nine-years-old, was caged after cops found him with eight kilograms of high-purity heroin. Beheluli, 33, played a "senior role" in the drug ring but, The Home Office and National Crime Agency (NCA) were informed he has to stay in the UK, as reported by The Telegraph. Officials were trying to deport the former model just eight months before his arrest in 2015. The National Crime Agency found a picture of him surrounded by an estimated £250,000 after raids in London. Beheluli was later found guilty of conspiring to supply class A drugs and sentenced at Blackfriars Crown Court. He appeared alongside fellow gang members Besim Topalli, then 29, and Azem Proshka, then 23. It was previously reported Proshka and Topalli would be deported after they serve ten years in prison. The duo admitted conspiring to supply drugs, money laundering and possessing fake ID documents. National Crime Agency branch commander Oliver Higgins said: "Beheluli seemed to enjoy the high life and gambling with the money he made from drug dealing, but in the end his luck run out. "These men were involved in supplying significant quantities of high-purity class A drugs, as demonstrated by the value of the cash, cocaine and heroin we have seized from them. "But they were unaware that they were being watched by the NCA, and their arrest and subsequent conviction should have the wider criminal fraternity looking over their shoulders." Home Office officials as well as the NCA, previously argued must Beheluli have been operating high up within the criminal organisation to be trusted with such large sums of cash. But a lower-tier tribunal judge threw out this allegation due to a lack of physical evidence or witness testimony. Beheluli arrived in the UK in November 2000, when his father claimed asylum. His father's applications were originally rejected, but in 2006 they were granted discretionary leave to remain - which later became indefinite leave to remain. Beheluli was granted British citizenship in April 2014, but caught with the drugs and wads of cash by October. The Home Office tired to deport him and argued he had lied on his citizenship forms when he stated there was nothing 'which reflected adversely on his character'. They claimed Beheluli must have held a "senior role" within the drug dealing enterprise. The court was told by the Home Office: 'It is beyond logic to accept that [he] would be trusted with such a consignment of drugs if [he was] not already involved in the supply of Class A drugs.' However, the lower tier tribunal ruled that there was insufficient evidence to reach such a conclusion. The tribunal ruled: 'There is, for example, no surveillance or other evidence from the NCA and there is no opinion evidence from a police officer, for example, to support the suggestion that only a senior and trusted member of an organised criminal gang would be entrusted with such a quantity of drugs. 'There was no evidence of sufficient cogency to establish that the appellant had been involved in criminality at the time that he said that there was nothing adverse to declare about his character.' However, the upper tribunal rejected this and has scheduled a re-hearing. It ruled: 'Whether or not there was a statement from a police officer, and whether or not there was further evidence from the NCA, that view was deserving of respect and was capable of supporting the common-sense stance of the Secretary of State.' 4 4

Jailed Albanian heroin dealer who kept photo of himself posing with £250,000 in cash is allowed to stay in the UK

The jailed Albanian heroin dealer who posed with £250,000 in cash has been told he will not be deported. Olsi Beheluli, who came to the UK when he was nine, was sentenced to 11 years behind bars over his 'senior role' in a drug-dealing ring after he was caught with eight kilograms of high-purity heroin in 2015. But The Home Office and National Crime Agency (NCA) have been told the former-'model' has to stay in the UK, despite their efforts to prove he fraudulently secured his British Citizenship, it was reported in The Telegraph. They claimed that eight months before he was arrested for having £200-000 worth of heroin on him he said he was not involved in any criminal activities on his naturalisation application. However they believe that only a senior member would be entrusted with such a valuable assignment. Dealing with the huge amounts of drugs would go against his promise to officials at the time that there was nothing 'which reflected adversely on his character'. A lower-tier tribunal judge dismissed this argument, arguing that there was no witness evidence or surveillance to support this. The Home office said it was 'incredible' to presume this was his first time engaging in drug offences and that 'it is beyond logic to accept that [he] would be trusted with such a consignment of drugs if [he was] not already involved in the supply of Class A Drugs'. A judge ruled that he would not be deported despite attempts from the Home Office because there was not enough evidence to suggest he had been involved in criminal activities before (pictured with a stash of £250,000 in cash) When this went to a upper tribunal judge at a rehearing after the case was appealed, officials said Beheluli 'must have established a fairly senior role in the supply of heroin, since he was entrusted with more than eight kilograms of high-purity heroin with a street value of more than £200,000'. The judge responded that the lack of evidence did not 'amount to a complete and incontrovertible answer to the common-sense point made by the Secretary of State' Beheluli arrived in the UK in 2000 with his family who were granted discretionary leave to remain six years later. The gangster, , who claimed he appeared on Channel 4 dating show My Little Princess, was on his way to a 'stash house' in north London when the cops descended on him. Counterfeit identity documentation and scales were found at the Neasden address and when police searched Beheluli's phone, they discovered the shocking image of him next to £250,000 in cash - which he had also posted on X (then Twitter). Beheluli tried to claim it was a relative's money and the photo was taken in Albania but detectives matched the distinctive wallpaper and furniture in the image to a picture of a home that Beheluli used to rent. Beheluli stashed £24,000 in his bank account and told officers it was gambling winnings from the World Cup. Officers found betting slips showing he had recently placed £12,000 stakes at Ladbrokes and William Hill. The then-24-year-old enjoyed living the 'high life' and gambling with the money he made from the illegal operation, police said. National Crime Agency branch commander Oliver Higgins said: 'Beheluli seemed to enjoy the high life and gambling with the money he made from drug dealing, but in the end his luck run out. 'These men were involved in supplying significant quantities of high-purity class A drugs, as demonstrated by the value of the cash, cocaine and heroin we have seized from them. 'But they were unaware that they were being watched by the NCA, and their arrest and subsequent conviction should have the wider criminal fraternity looking over their shoulders.' Blackfriars Crown Court found him guilt of conspiring to supply class A drugs in April 2015 alongside fellow gang members Besim Topalli, then 29, and Azem Proshka, then 23 - the trio in total received a sentence of 31 years in prison. At the time, it was reported Proshka and Topalli will be deported after they serve ten years in prison after admitting conspiring to supply drugs, money laundering and possessing fake ID documents.

The Waterfront – Season 1 Episode 6 'Hunting Season' Recap & Review

Hunting Season Episode 6 of The Waterfront starts with horrific flashes to the past for Bree. She soon awakens, with Cane next to her. She's now sober but clearing heroin out of her system isn't exactly smooth sailing. However, Bree has serious guilt over how this has gone down with Marcus. Cane reminds her that Marcus is a former addict and the allure of doing heroin was just too much for him to turn away from. It's not her fault he's dead. Cane believes they need to cover their tracks, which involves destroying all the evidence that Marcus has gained. It's here where Bree points out a horrifying moment from the past about her grandfather's death that's shaped her whole life. The man didn't die peacefully in his sleep after all. He was tortured while Bree was hiding inside the closet, watching the whole thing play out in horror. This entire incident explains why she has substance abuse issues and what led her down this path. Belle made her promise not to say anything and she didn't. With the pair busy, Harlan finds Grady waiting in his office. He's brought over some payroll (and a little extra to sweeten the deal) and wants to celebrate their little win with the DEA. However, Grady also has an emergency shipment he wants to fly out asap. Harlan is having none of it and doesn't want to mess with their business. Grady is not letting this one go and reminds him who's in charge here. With Harlan refusing to play ball, and needing to prove his point, Grady shows to see Diller and they hang together. He facetimes with Harlan and shows they're off hunting together, which obviously is his way of keeping Harlan in check. While Harlan races off to get Diller back, he eventually concedes and agrees to go hunting with the pair. Elsewhere, Belle signs for some documents from the bank, which only confirms they're in even more trouble than she initially thought. It seems Wes is trying to strongarm them and Belle meets with him to discuss it further. However, the ship has sailed and they have limited time to pay up. Back hunting, things take a horrible turn when Grady, in his desire to try and hunt some birds, ends up shooting Diller. Whether an accident or a warning, news of Diller's shooting reaches the whole family. Cane rings Jenna that night, just to talk, despite initially saying they weren't going to. Their conversation stirs up old feelings, which is only compounded further by his earlier chat with Bree, and he heads over to see her. No more 'mr good guy'; the pair wind up having sex. At the same time, Belle shows up to see Harlan, showing off the documents from the bank that mean bad news for their business. Even worse, Belle immediately susses that Bree has been using and it just makes Cane feel worse that he's caught in the middle of this. He apologizes for how everything has gone down, and the pair share a sweet moment together. When Grady shows up at the hospital, everything kicks off again. Grady speaks to Belle about the shooting, claiming that he didn't intentionally shoot him but subconsciously? Well, he's not 100% sure. Belle smacks the guy in the face, and as his goons grab her, Shawn – of all people – shows up and saves her before security arrive. Shawn speaks to Belle privately after, wanting to know what she's mixed up in. Naturally, she doesn't tell him but that's not going to stop his questions. Meanwhile, Harlan looks over the documents in his office that night. Unfortunately, after the altercation with Grady at the hospital, he shows up with his men and strong-arms Harlan into submission. To prove his point, he grabs a couple of buckets full of Portuguese man o' war, and place them on his bare chest. Harlan's screams ring out across the warehouse. The Episode Review Grady shows his true colours here, as the nice guy facade wears off and he shows just how vicious he can be. The torture with the jellyfish is pretty sadistic, and it's clear that the hunting trip shooting 'accident' was Grady's way of sending a message to Harlan. Cane and Bree patching up their differences though is a nice touch and one of the highlights of the episode for sure, while Cane predictably succumbs to temptation and sleeps with Jenna. Whether this is going to blow up when Peyton returns though is anyone's guess, but it's clear that this situation is far from over. With a couple of episodes left, will Harlan and Cane manage to save the business before it's too late? Previous Episode Next Episode Expect A Full Season Write-Up When This Season Concludes!

Disturbing moment Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman stands in ‘zombie-like' state in 104F heat after ‘heroin overdose'

SHOCKING video shows the son of pop megastar Cher standing in a "zombie-like" state, high on drugs before he was rushed to hospital. Other disturbing footage obtained by The Sun shows Elijah Blue Allman carrying drugs wrapped in tin foil into an AirBnb before the suspected heroin overdose. 8 8 8 Witnesses say troubled Elijah, 48, Cher's youngest son, was badly sunburned and had swollen hands and feet as he stood motionless in the searing 104 degree heat in Joshua Tree, California. A video, caught on a Ring security camera earlier that day, appears to show a dishevelled Elijah unsteady on his feet as he carries his drug haul in from the car. He was dressed scruffily in blue shorts and a dirty white t-shirt, and was unshaven, with unkempt hair. The Sun can reveal the house is owned by his close pal and former Matthew Perry girlfriend, Kayti Edwards. Elijah went on a binge in the AirBnb and took a cocktail of heroin and fentanyl, a potent opioid drug, before paramedics were alerted, a close source told The Sun. Cops searched the property after he was taken to hospital and in photos seen by The Sun, heroin and white fentanyl powder are seen sprawled across a side-table next to rolled up paper. The powder appeared to have been 'chopped up' and snorted on the back of an iPhone. Cops subsequently stuck a "danger" notice to the front window of the AirBnB warning of the presence of fentanyl. While news reports claim Elijah was taken to hospital for a suspected overdose, friends have described the incident more as a drug-induced episode. They say Elijah, who has a history of substance abuse, desperately needs help. Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman, 48, rushed to hospital after overdose as singer says she is 'doing everything she can' Kayti, 48, told pals she was at the property on Saturday afternoon to check on Elijah after his behaviour had spiralled out of control in the days before. And on arrival she found him standing 'statue still' in the front yard in a 'foggy, zombie-like' state. A friend said: 'Kayti found him just standing there, unresponsive in her front yard, getting badly sunburned. 'He was blinking his eyes rapidly, but didn't acknowledge her at all. 'His hands and feet were also swollen, with scabs turning black, an affect of the drugs, that was what most concerned Kayti.' Paramedics were called and arrived on scene with police officers from San Bernardino Police Department - as is standard with drug call outs. The officers later executed a search warrant at the property and left a warning notice stating they had found fentanyl at the property. The pal said: 'Even the paramedics couldn't get through to Elijah when they arrived, he was just stood there staring into space for around ten minutes. 'Kayti had to convince him to snap out of it and to get on the stretcher and get some medical help.' 8 8 8 They added: 'Elijah had been staying at Kayti's AirBnb for over a week by that point, he arrived on June 6. 'They're old friends and he reached out and told her he needed to get out of LA and needed a place to stay. 'She met with him and took him out for dinner with her family and he stayed at a house she rents out, but she grew more and more worried about his odd behaviour. 'She'd known he had issues with drugs in the past but thought he was finally clean, but it quickly became apparent that wasn't the case, it's all very sad.' Pal Kayti, the granddaughter of screen legend Julie Andrews, had already lost her ex Matthew Perry to a drug overdose in October, 2023, and feared the same would happen to Elijah. The friend said: 'He's had drug problems for years and Kayti had supported him in the past as he tried to get clean. 'She was really worried about him when she saw what state he was in.' In a statement given to The Sun, pal Kayti said: 'Elijah and I have been close since we were teens. 8 'Although the whole thing that happened was really scary for me it could have been a lot worsened I am glad he's in a safe spot getting better.' Pals fears Elijah's troubling condition may have been down to the heroin he took being laced with Xylazine - a powerful veterinary tranquilliser which can slow breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure to dangerously low levels. Xylazine has become increasingly popular on the US drug scene, as has Fentanyl which he also took. Fentanyl is the potent opioid drug which has infuriated President Trump who sparked a trade war with China, Mexico and Canada, accusing them of doing very little to stem the flow of the drug in the US. Last night Elijah was still being treated in hospital, but it's understood he has been transferred to a private facility in Pasadena. His famous mum Cher is said to be focused on getting him the help he needs and rallying around him, according to a source. A spokesperson for San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said: "Deputies from our Morongo Basin Station responded to a residence in Landers for a male subject acting erratically. 'When deputies arrived, Elijah Allman, 48, was being evaluated by emergency medical personnel.' 'Deputies located drugs inside the home and Allman was transported to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing." Elijah's drug history is well known. His hospitalisation comes a year and a half after his hitmaker mum Cher was denied her request to be granted a conservatorship over her son. Cher was concerned that funds given to Elijah from his trust would be 'immediately spent on drugs,' according to legal documents. A judge ruled there was 'insufficient evidence' and denied the request without prejudice. In response to the petition, Elijah acknowledged his struggles 'with addiction' and admitted he 'spent money in ways that have not always been the most responsible.' But he said he was under a doctor's care and had been attending AA meetings at the time. "I recently passed a drug test and am willing to submit to future drug tests," he added in the documents. "I am clean and sober from illicit substances for over 90 days now and am fully capable of and committed to managing the money I receive quarterly from the trust left by my late father.' Elijah's dad is Greg Allman, a frontman and co-founder of the Allman Brothers Band and a trailblazer of Southern Rock. He died in 2017 from liver cancer complications at his home in Savannah, Georgia. Cher's other son Chaz Bono was the product of the singer's relationship with Sonny Bono.
