Test-Riding The Meet One Breeze Pro Fat Tire Electric Trike
This is perhaps one of the most high end pedal and electric-powered trikes on the market. The rise of electrically assisted equipment has brought a wave of new, more accessible, bikes and trikes to the market. For the most part, unlike electric bikes, electric trikes are typically aimed at older or less able people but that doesn't mean a lack of style. The Meet One Breeze Pro is equipped with chunky tires and a super comfy seat, so you can get about with ease. Whereas once, older people may have looked at mobility scooters or the like, an electric trike seems like a great opportunity to keep moving but benefit from similar features. The Meet One Breeze Pro feels designed to take the pressure off of your joints so you can enjoy popping to the shops, riding along the beachfront or through the park putting in as much or as little effort as you want. There's plenty of freedom to accessorise the electric trike to suit your lifestyle The first thing you notice about the Meet One Breeze Pro electric trike is its sturdiness. Although the bike can be a little heavy to push around, once you're on the seat and ready to ride, the weight of the trike feels reassuring and gives good stability. On the right hand side of the handlebars, you can control the trike's mechanical gearing. On the left, you can toggle between three different levels of electric assistance. A super useful feature is the throttle control which allows you to pull away without pedalling. The speed at which you can pull away depends on the level of assistance the trike is set to. This, and details about speed and range, are located in a crisp digital display. Depending on battery configuration, terrain and riding style, Meet One estimates the trike can travel between 40 to 100 miles before it needs recharging. Maximum speed with assistance is limited to 22 mph but unless you're traveling down a hill on a smooth surface, it's unlikely you'll ever need to go that quick. To help with the trike's agility it has a rear differential which gives it tighter cornering ability. Although the trike comes with a 750W motor it can be limited to 250W to suit regulations in different regions like the UK for example. Comfort is the highlight of the Meet One Breeze Pro, the saddle is wide and supportive and the backrest turns it into a nice seat when you're taking a break. There's a good level of adjustability with the handlebars and the rear mirrors make visibility behind much easier, saving you having to turn around or twist in the seat. For those with limited mobility, the frame is fairly low so you don't have to lift your leg too high to get on. With rear view mirrors, you can be aware of your surroundings without needing to twist or turn As far as tech goes, the Breeze Pro is fairly simple to get to grips with. The digital display shows the key pieces of information and plugging in to charge is easy. Its strengths are in its accessories and practicality. With the current offer, a front basket and rear storage cage come as standard. Whether it's a quick pop to the shops for ingredients for Sunday brunch or a gentle ride to collect dinner, the Breeze Pro has great storage solutions to suit different applications. When it comes to safety, the trike is fitted with in-built lights and a rear brake light to alert other traffic when you're slowing down. Alongside the standard specification, Meet One offers a huge range of accessories so you can tailor the bike to your lifestyle with things like bottle holders and phone mounts. The electric trike can be specified with a dual armrest seat for some extra support and comfort In its base form with a single battery, the Meet One Breeze Pro starts from $1,999. For an extra $200 the seat can be upgraded to feature a wider chair-like setup with armrests. Depending on range requirements, there's a variety of dual battery configurations which can offer more than 100 miles of range with the most expensive option costing $2,799. Since the likes of the Jorvik JET-E16 starts from around $4,000, the Meet One Breeze Pro electric trike is impressive value. As part of the model's launch, pre-orders come with more than $300 worth of accessories like front and rear baskets, rearview mirrors and a larger backrest.

The Waterfront – Season 1 Episode 2 'Taking Control' Recap & Review
Taking Control Episode 2 of The Waterfront begins with authorities finding Curtis and Troy's bodies in the water. While the authorities chalk this up to a freak accident – including the DEA agents in the area – Clyde takes Cane and Harlan aside to talk about their next run. Even with the DEA still in town, things are hot and the Buckleys want to wait before running more drugs. Unfortunately, Porter isn't taking no for an answer and they don't have much of a choice but to go ahead as scheduled. Speaking to Belle about their financial issues, Harlan learns they're four months behind on both mortgages and two months behind on the loan. They really are up shit's creek given their debts amount to about 6.8 million. Willis at National has given them a three-month extension to prevent them defaulting, but they need to find about $2 million to keep afloat. Harlan though believes they can make it work by cutting Porter out of this and going right to the source. Harlan wants to negotiate with the buyer and have their own supply line. Belle though, has another idea. She wants to partner with a developer called Wes Larsen to expand and invest in building out the beachfront. This would eventually solve all their financial issues, but Harlan is adamant that the land isn't to be worked on. As we soon find out, Belle has already gone ahead with this and spoken to Wes in private behind her husband's back. An ongoing issue here stems from Bree, who works in the restaurant. She has an estranged relationship with her son, Diller, and Harlan wants to help try and patch things up between them. That's difficult to do given there's a restraining order in place for her, but Diller is offered a job working at the fish shop. Bree has been hitting the booze hard and has been in and out of rehab, where she met Marcus, the DEA agent. He's also an ex addict so the pair have a lot in common. It seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? Bree meets with Marcus at a motel and after destroying the dresser together in a fit of passion, they talk about the case. Marcus doesn't see this going anywhere but Bree is adamant they're onto something. She wants to expose and get Cane out the business, whom she has a grudge with. She's okay with Belle and Harlan though, but the reason for her resentment toward her brother is still unclear. Bree breaks into Cane's office while he's out doing his drug run, intending to take incriminating documents or evidence of wrongdoing. This includes the deed for the boat changing hands. Harlan and Cane work together to do their drug run, unaware of what's going on back at shore. Harlan is taking absolutely no chances though, handing over guns and deciding they need to be ready. Unfortunately, they're ten kilos under the scheduled weight and things look set to kick off. That is, until Cane convinces them to ring Owen and smooth things over. Instead of ringing Porter though, they call a guy called Grady, and he allows them to leave unharmed. It seems like he's the one who's really pulling the strings here. We soon learn that this definitely was a stick-up, and when Harlan finds out, he's pissed. He confronts Porter about it and smacks him across the mouth. Sporting a bloodied mouth, he admits he likes to see the Buckleys struggling like this and talks a big game. That is, until Harlan mentions Grady's name. Harlan wants to meet with him and refuses to do more runs with Porter until he organizes this. That night, Cane meets with Jenna ready for dinner with their partners. Both are nervous and decide to do some shots and eat a gummy to loosen up. Unfortunately, they loosen a bit too much, making things super uncomfortable for their prospective partners. Less uncomfortable though is the meeting with West and Belle. They wind up kissing outside in a it of passion as the development deal looks set to go ahead. When Belle heads back inside, composing herself, she finds Shawn, the new bartender, in a heated conversation with someone on the phone. Belle has been suspicious of him all episode, given he's new in town and clearly doesn't know how to pour drinks properly. His CV also has glaring holes too. When Belle confronts him about this, she demands answers. Well, it turns out Shawn is actually the estranged son of Harlan. That night, Harlan and Cane hash out their issues together. While Harlan sees his son as a fool for running his mouth, Cane believes honesty, or at least honour among thieves, is their best policy. The pair clearly don't see eye to eye and their chat doesn't go well, especially when Cane admits he's glad he's not like his pa. As the episode closes out, Bree shows up to see Marcus and hands over the USB drive that has evidence of wrongdoing from her brother. At the same time, Peyton is approached by a couple of masked figures who douse her in gasoline with a trail heading off to the road and they light a match. The Episode Review Alas, the plot thickens! It's clear now that Grady is the one in charge and it could well be his men that have shown up and threatened Peyton. It's a harsh reminder of who's in charge and Harlan is right in one respect – being a snitch in this line of work is going to end badly. The drama involving the family is starting to get interesting though, with Belle's ties with Wes, Bree's relationship with Marcus and the ongoing sexual tension between Jenna and Cane, looking set to cause big drama going forward and completely implode the family dynamics. Everything here is set up on a precarious knife-edge – roll on the next episode! Previous Episode Next Episode Expect A Full Season Write-Up When This Season Concludes!

Kim Kardashian's tween North debuts grown-up accessory on lavish birthday trip to Mexico
Whether it's a baby shower or their annual Christmas Eve parties, the Kardashians go all out when it comes to their celebrations. And Kim Kardashian once again threw her daughter North West a birthday party the youngster won't soon forget. In honor of North's 12th birthday, the reality star treated her daughter to a trip to Los Cabos, Mexico this past weekend. North, her lucky friends, and her famous mother stayed at a luxurious beachfront home decked out with everything a birthday girl could want. The youngster even debuted quite the grown-up accessory - a glamorous manicure. North's long, bedazzled nails were visible as she explored the beachside. For the bash, Kim decked out the party with an outdoor movie screening area complete with various plush seats the kids could sit on. A wood table was decorated with a massive bouquet of flowers while a huge bouquet of blue balloons hung along the edge of the house. Their luxurious accommodations also appeared to come with a pool, as an inflatable swan could be seen on site. North was also still rocking the fun blue hairstyle she recently debuted. Kim, who shares North with her ex-husband Kanye West, was seen at one point on the deck. It's certainly not the first time Kim has thrown an epic birthday bash for her firstborn - last year, for example, she treated North and her friends to a day in New York City. English beach town to convert derelict seafront shelters into new tourist attractions
AN ENGLISH seaside town has revealed plans to convert the abandoned beachfront shelters into a place for tourists. Ramsgate's eight shelters line the East Cliff promenade, having been built in the 1930s. 3 3 The eight shelters - measuring 6m by 2m - look out across the sea but have been left to decay in recent years. Most of them are now covered in graffiti, without any form of seating. And the new plans will convert them into attractions such as a food and drinks outlet, as well as a sauna, beach huts, art spaces and fishing huts. One confirmed shelter will become seating and information screens right by the Grade-I listed Chine steps. The Architectural Heritage Fund, behind the transformation, has a small fund set to create the new designs. However, they are set to raise further funding for them to include power and water to them. If the target is met, then the new attractions hope to be open by summer 2026. Locals can add their own ideas to the open consultation form. The shelters, built in 1936, were part of the Marina Bathing Pool, a lido that was an Olympic-sized pool and diving zone. However, it closed in 1975 and has since been filled in to become a car park. The Sun visits Wetherspoons largest pubin Ramsgate Rob Kenyon, CEO, Heritage Lab CIC: "We are excited to be able to kick start this new project thanks to a viability grant from the Architectural Heritage Fund which will help to pay for the research, design and early development costs. "The project epitomises our ambition to develop curiously creative spaces, and we hope that this will help the regeneration of the East Cliff area and Ramsgate more widely.' In the mean time, tourists can visit the Ramsgate Tunnels, the UK's largest network of wartime tunnels. Or there is the Royal Harbour - the only one of it's kind in the UK. Ramsgate is also home to the world's biggest Wetherspoons. The Grade-II listed Royal Victoria Pavilion reopened as a Wetherspoons in 2017. We went down to try it out - here is what its really like. 3
