Amit Shah virtually inaugurates NFSU and I-Hub in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Jun 22 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah virtually inaugurated the temporary campus of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and I-Hub Raipur in Nava Raipur on Sunday. Shah said that this marks a historic day for Chhattisgarh in the direction of modernising and scientifying the criminal justice system. The NFSU temporary campus and I-Hub will be developed at a cost of Rs 268 crores. The campus will offer BSc, MSc in Forensic Science, Cyber Security, Psychology, Digital Forensic, and professional diploma courses from the academic session 2025-26. Shah highlighted that these institutions will not only empower Chhattisgarh but also the entire central India with modern justice and crime investigation capabilities. He added that new forensic technologies like DNA fingerprinting, cyber security, and digital forensic will be accessible locally, making investigations faster and more accurate. The Home Minister urged the youth to become entrepreneurs and start their own startups, leveraging the I-Hub's resources and support. He also praised the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma for their efforts in taking the anti-Naxalite campaign to a decisive phase. Shah appealed to Naxalites to surrender and join the development journey of Chhattisgarh. He assured that graduating from NFSU under the Modi government will guarantee employment. The NFSU's permanent campus is expected to be fully developed within three years, opening up vast career opportunities for Chhattisgarh's youth in forensic science. Shah underscored that the new criminal laws aim to ensure justice within three years and establish a modern, science-based criminal justice system. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma also spoke on the occasion, stressing the significance of NFSU and I-Hub in empowering the state's youth and strengthening law and order. 'Naxals will face the consequences', Chhattisgarh CM after killing of ASP in IED blast in Sukma

Raipur, June 9 (UNI) Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sai expressed deep sorrow over the killing of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Akash Rao Giripunj in an IED blast carried out by Naxalites on Monday, in Konta area of Sukma district. The CM vowed that Naxalites will have to face the consequences of this "cowardly act". Sai said, "It is extremely painful, and I pay homage to his sacrifice." Sai added that some other officials and personnel were also injured in the attack and has directed for their proper treatment. The Chief Minister asserted that security forces are engaged in a major battle against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, and they are achieving continuous success. "Frustrated by the actions of security forces, Naxalites are resorting to such cowardly acts, but they will have to face the consequences," he said. Sai expressed deep condolences to the family of the martyred ASP and assured that the state government stands with them in this hour of grief, reaffirming that the day is not far when Naxalites will be eradicated from Chhattisgarh. File/Representational Nava Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, is poised to become the home of India's first AI-centric Special Economic Zone (SEZ)– a dedicated area which is being specially designed for the development and operation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer data-related technologies. Mega AI data center to come up in Nava Raipur The project, being developed by RackBank Datacenters Pvt Limited at an investment of Rs 1000 crore, will host state-of-the-art computer systems and servers that will run AI systems capable of human-like reasoning, making it a hub for major global companies like Microsoft, Google, Meta, Amazon, etc to carry out their digital operations. An official statement issued by the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister's office (CMO) said the state state government has granted tax exemptions and other legal relaxations to accelerate the development of this novel project, which will transform Nava Raipur into India's next digital and technological hub. The RackBank Datacenter SEZ in Nava Raipur will be spread over around six acres and will feature a modern 1.5 lakh square feet data center equipped with cutting-edge technology. There are future plans to build four high-density data centers with a combined capacity of 80 megawatts, capable of supporting digital networks across multiple states, according to details revealed by the government. Project will create new jobs for local youth Talking about the initiative, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sai described it as a new beginning which would elevate the state's position on the national technology map. Sai stated that the project for would generate new employment opportunities for the youth, and will further the visions of Digital India and Make in India. RackBank CEO Narendra Sen said the initiative is aimed at making India self-reliant in AI, adding that the data center will offer jobs such as IT engineers, data specialists, cybersecurity officers, network managers, and company will collaborate with Chhattisgarh's ITI, engineering, and polytechnic institutes to run training programs that prepare students for the industry, he said. Notably, AI is not limited to computers anymore and its various aspects have begun to influence areas like human language, thinking, education, health, and even agriculture. The new data center Raipur is being developed with these services in mind, and would attract global tech giants like Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta, to bring their operations to the city.

This will be a dedicated area specially designed for the development and operation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer data-related technologies. The zone will host state-of-the-art computer systems and servers that will run AI systems capable of human-like reasoning, making it a hub for major global companies to carry out their digital operations, the Chief Minister's office said. The government has granted tax exemptions and other legal relaxations to accelerate the development of new technologies here. For the first time in India, such a zone completely focused on AI is being created, positioning Nava Raipur as the country's next digital and technological hub. This project is considered a major leap toward making India a global leader in technology. In Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India's first AI-based 'RackBank Data Center SEZ' will be developed. This Special Economic Zone will be entirely dedicated to computers, the internet, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project is being developed by RackBank Datacenters Pvt. New Delhi: In a significant step towards major investments in the healthcare and industrial sectors of Chhattisgarh, two prominent industrial groups met with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at Chhattisgarh Bhavan in Delhi on Saturday. Dr. Naresh Trehan, founder of Medanta Hospital and a renowned cardiologist, proposed the establishment of a state-of-the-art multi-speciality hospital in Raipur. He informed that an investment of approximately Rs 500 crore is planned for this project. The hospital will be equipped with advanced medical technology, expert doctors, research, and training facilities. Meanwhile, Ravi Jaipuria, Chairman of Varun Beverages Limited, proposed setting up a carbonated soft drinks and fruit juice manufacturing plant in Raipur, involving an investment exceeding Rs 250 crore. This project is expected to accelerate industrial growth in the state as well as generate employment opportunities. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai welcomed both proposals and assured that the Government of Chhattisgarh will provide every possible support for quality investments in sectors such as healthcare and industry. He stated that the state government will consider these projects earnestly and extend all necessary assistance, which will benefit the public and open new avenues of employment for the youth.
