Lulu continues, saying she found out Camilla wasn't pregnant, and Brook Lynn gave birth on May 15th. Gio's upset he doesn't know his own birthday. She says she didn't put him on the approved list and says Willow is going home with her. Drew spots Portia and tries to get her to help but she says HIPPA laws dictate he has no say. Drew says the two of them need to remember who's in charge. He says he knows the two of them hired Jacinda to drug him and they need to do his bidding. He says he'll expose their secrets and warns Portia's career will end as well as Nina's relationship with Willow. The two are forced to agree to help him, and Drew tells Portia to convince Curtis to write about the injustice of the verdict. Curtis gives Michael his resignation and updates him on Drew blackmailing Portia. He doesn't want to ruin Aurora, but Michael tears up the letter and says he has Curtis' back. Michael tells him to let Drew think he's winning, and he'll mess up. Portia tells Curtis that Drew wants an editorial against the Corinthos verdict. Curtis is annoyed but agrees to write it. She apologizes but he knows this isn't on her. Sasha tells Carly and Felicia she and the baby are moving back to the Quartermaines, since it feels like home. Sasha brings up Willow losing custody and wonders how she's handling that. Carly and Felicia tell her about Willow's breakdown and how she was hospitalized. A nurse brings in Daisy, but Sasha says it's not her baby. Michael shows up and reassures her as Lucas shows up with the correct baby. Lucas says the baby was in the nursery the whole time and was just in the wrong bassinet. Felicia drags Lucas away to chastise him for this mix up. Lucas agrees it never should have happened and they'll investigate. Willow doesn't want to go home without her kids, but Lucas reassures her that once the dust settles, Michael will be willing to work something out that's best for the kids. Drew stops Nina from saying anything to Willow, convincing her that they are all she has now. Drew tells Willow they need to go home. Willow gets released at the same time as Sasha and the baby. White Sox trade 1B Andrew Vaughn to brewers for RHP Aaron Civale
The Milwaukee Brewers have traded right-hander Aaron Civale and cash to the Chicago White Sox for first baseman Andrew Vaughn. The Brewers moved quickly after they announced they were removing Civale from their rotation. The pitcher said Thursday he wanted to remain a starter even if it meant leaving Milwaukee. One day later, Civale was traded. The Brewers also are sending $807,000 to the White Sox as part of the deal. "We're exploring opportunities for me to get back into a rotation, whether that's here or elsewhere," Civale said Thursday on his 30th birthday. "That type of decision is out of my hands. We're exploring the options to give me the chance to do what I do best, and that's to go out there and start." Civale is 1-2 with a 4.91 ERA this season. He has allowed seven runs over 19 innings in four starts since returning from the injured list May 22 after dealing with a strained left hamstring. The Brewers took Civale out of their rotation because they had a surplus of starters after promoting prospect Jacob Misiorowski, who threw five innings of no-hit ball while helping Milwaukee beat the St. Louis Cardinals 6-0 in his major league debut Thursday. Milwaukee's rotation also includes Freddy Peralta (5-4, 2.69 ERA), José Quintana (4-1, 2.66 ERA), Quinn Priester (4-2 3.65 ERA) and Chad Patrick (3-6, 3.25 ERA). Although Civale pitched in relief in two postseason games — one in 2022 with Cleveland and another last year in Milwaukee — all of his regular-season appearances in the major and minor leagues have come in a starting role. Civale, who is 40-37 with a 4.06 ERA in 122 career big league starts, is making $8 million this year and is eligible for free agency at the end of the season. The Brewers acquired Civale in a July trade with the Tampa Bay Rays, who got him in a 2023 trade-deadline deal with the Cleveland Guardians. Civale becomes the third former Brewer to join the White Sox in the last month. The White Sox also claimed infielder Vinny Capra off waivers from the Brewers and signed pitcher Tyler Alexander after Milwaukee designated him for assignment. The 27-year-old Vaughn, who also has made big league starts in right and left field, hit .189 with a .218 on-base percentage, five homers and 19 RBIs in 48 games with Chicago before he was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on May 23. He will report to the Brewers' Triple-A Nashville affiliate. He has a career average of .248 with a .303 on-base percentage, 77 homers and 293 RBIs in 610 games for the White Sox, who selected him out of the University of California with the third overall pick in the 2019 draft. In other moves Friday, the Brewers recalled right-hander Grant Anderson and outfielder Drew Avans from Triple-A Nashville. Outfielder Daz Cameron was placed on the paternity list.

White Sox deal first baseman Andrew Vaughn to Brewers for pitcher Aaron Civale
After being bumped from the Milwaukee Brewers' rotation and then requesting a trade, pitcher Aaron Civale is headed to the Chicago White Sox, the teams announced Friday. ESPN's Jesse Rogers first reported Friday morning that the Brewers have traded Civale, 30, for White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn, a 27-year-old former first-round pick who is hitting only .189 this season but has piled up 77 home runs in his first four and a half seasons in the majors. Advertisement The Brewers called up top prospect Jacob Misiorowski on Tuesday, and the 6-foot-7, high-heat throwing righty took Civale's place in the rotation. A 2022 second-round pick, Misiorowski dazzled in his first career start Thursday, throwing 14 pitches that reached at least 100 mph and spinning five no-hit innings before exiting with right calf and quad cramping. Misiorowski, who was awarded the 6-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals, said postgame the cramping was "nothing crazy" and that he feels good physically. Once the Brewers told Civale that he was headed to the bullpen, Civale's agent, Jack Toffey, reportedly went to Milwaukee general manager Matt Arnold. Advertisement "The conversation was very professional," Toffey said Thursday, via The Athletic. "I just very respectfully said that Aaron would really like an opportunity to continue his career as a starter. He's going to be a free agent at the end of the year." Although Civale made a relief appearance in Game 1 of last year's wild-card series against the New York Mets, he has started all 122 regular-season games he has played in during his seven-year MLB career, which also includes stops with the Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays. Civale strained his left hamstring in his first appearance this season, but he has logged a 3.32 ERA across the four starts he has made since returning May 22. Advertisement In exchange for Civale, the Brewers are receiving Vaughn. The right-handed hitter has struggled so far this season. In addition to hitting below .200 in his first 48 games of the year, he's recording the lowest on-base percentage (.218) and slugging percentage (.314) of his career. Vaughn has 35 hits in 193 plate appearances this season, with five home runs and 19 RBI. Vaughn is expected to be an option at first base and at designated hitter for the Brewers, who are sending cash to the White Sox to make up for the differences in the traded players' salaries, according to Adam McCalvy. Civale is earning $8 million this season, while Vaughn is earning $5.85 million. Plus, Vaughn has one more year of control via arbitration.

Is Coaching 'Familiarity' Key To Unlocking Cowboys' Deuce Vaughn?
Is Coaching 'Familiarity' Key To Unlocking Cowboys' Deuce Vaughn? originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Dallas Cowboys running back Deuce Vaughn is entering perhaps his most significant NFL offseason of his career. Advertisement Having only played 17 games and totaled 134 rushing yards in two seasons, it's gut-check time for Deuce to prove he's worthy of staying on the roster. But maybe the football gods have smiled down on the running back when his former Kansas State coach, Conor Riley, was named offensive line coach this offseason. Is Riley's familiarity with Deuce and his game, which saw Vaughn rush for 3,604 yards and 36 touchdowns in three seasons in college, the key to him finally making a statement this offseason? 'For myself,'' Vaughn said, "I've been taking it day by day, but also understanding that his run scheme, the things that him and Coach [Klayton] Adams want to do as far as running the football this upcoming year, not necessarily new, nuances are just a little bit different. Advertisement "The terminology, being able to hear from somebody that you've heard it for now for three, four years, is really big. Just having that relationship that I can go and ask him questions about anything, just up front, and you know how big that is for a running back and a running game. "So it's really big that familiarity.' by Mike Fisher With Vaughn far down the pecking order in the running back room as Miles Sanders, Javonte Williams, and even rookie Jaydon Blue ahead of him in the depth chart, it could be tough sledding for Deuce. But maybe Riley's influence and familiarity with Vaughn can be the thread the Cowboys can pull to finally let Deuce loose in 2025. Advertisement Granted, he needs to get the carries to do it, and with two veterans in front of him, plus Blue, who is a speed merchant, that might be a tall order. However, with Riley, maybe Deuce now has a fighting chance of showing he is deserving of a place on Brian Schottenheimer's offense.
