'Sick and tired': Tom Brady's unsettling comments about his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen and their troubled marriage
Tom Brady revealed the strain his NFL career placed on his marriage with Gisele Bündchen (Getty Images) Long before his retirement, legendary quarterback Tom Brady was already grappling with the sacrifices that came with being one of the greatest in NFL history. In a revealing 2021 episode of his Let's Go! podcast with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, Brady spoke candidly about a 'very difficult issue' in his marriage to supermodel Gisele Bündchen — a deep imbalance between his football career and family responsibilities. Tom Brady opened up about a difficult issue that strained his marriage with Gisele Bündchen At the time, Tom Brady, playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, acknowledged that Gisele had taken the lead in managing their household and raising their children for more than a decade. 'I think my wife has, you know, held down the house for a long time now,' he said. 'And I think there's things that she wants to accomplish.' Gisele Bündchen's quiet sacrifices clashed with Tom Brady's relentless football schedule Despite stepping back from the runway in 2015, Gisele was far from retired in spirit. Brady noted that she still had personal goals she hadn't pursued because she had prioritized their family life. 'She hasn't worked as much in the last 10, 12 years just raising our family and kind of committing to being in a life in Boston and then moving to Florida,' Brady said, adding, 'But that's an issue, and it's a very difficult issue to reconcile without just saying: 'Hey, it's time to retire. '' Brady's honesty exposed the emotional weight behind the scenes of a seemingly perfect life — a reminder that fame and success don't shield anyone from real-life relationship pressures. Even though NFL players have significant downtime in the off-season, Brady admitted he still felt like he wasn't fully present. 'I wish I was there more, but I think if I was there too much… they might be sick and tired of me screwing up everything,' he said with a laugh. Years later, his remarks are seen as early signs of a growing rift that ultimately contributed to the couple's high-profile divorce in 2022. 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers projections: Will Mike Evans break 1,000 receiving yards?
2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers projections: Will Mike Evans break 1,000 receiving yards? At this point, betting against Mike Evans hitting 1,000 yards is like betting against the heat during a September game in Raymond James. Since entering the NFL in 2014, Evans has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards every single season, 11 years in a row. That ties Jerry Rice's all-time record, and in 2025, Evans has a chance to stand alone in that category. Considering his chemistry with quarterback Baker Mayfield and a favorable schedule, there's every reason to believe he'll do it again. Evans has a Favorable Schedule Tampa's 2025 opponents provide Evans with plenty of opportunities to shine. In Week 3, the Bucs face the New York Jets, who ranked 20th in pass defense last season and lost cornerback D.J. Reed in the offseason. That secondary should be vulnerable to Evans' downfield threat, especially with added artillery in the pass game. Week 4 brings the Philadelphia Eagles, who finished first in pass defense in 2024. However, they lost key defensive linemen Josh Sweat and Milton Williams, which could weaken their pass rush and allow Baker Mayfield more time to find Evans downfield. Week 6 is a home game against the San Francisco 49ers, whose 21st-ranked pass defense got even shakier this offseason after losing safety Talanoa Hufanga and cornerback Charvarius Ward. Evans should have no problem finding soft spots in their secondary. The best matchup of all may come in Week 10 against the New England Patriots. They ranked 30th against the pass last season, and although they have added ex-Buccaneer Carlton Davis to pair with Christian Gonzalez, that game has all the makings of a 100-yard performance. He remains the Bucs' WR1 Despite entering his 12th season, Evans is still Baker Mayfield's No. 1 target. In 2023, the duo connected for 1,255 yards and 13 touchdowns. With Chris Godwin drawing attention and young receivers in Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson adding depth, Evans will continue to see favorable coverage looks and red zone opportunities. Offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard inherits a top-five offense and will likely keep the system rolling with Evans as the focal point in critical moments. Combine that with Evans' contract-year motivation and the chance to break a Hall of Fame record, and you get a player with every reason to dominate again. Final Prediction: Mike Evans finishes the 2025 regular season with over 1,000 receiving yards, becoming the first player in NFL history with 12 consecutive 1,000-yard seasons

Tennessee Titans to have joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
When the NFL announced its 2025 schedule, the Tennessee Titans discussed the possibility of taking part in joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons in weeks one and two of the preseason. On Wednesday, the NFL released the complete list of league-wide joint practices, and the Titans will have back-to-back weeks of joint sessions to kick off their preseason slate. The announcement of the practice against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had been rumored since the schedule was released, but was not verified until this release. Tennessee will head to Tampa and hold the first of what will likely be two sessions on August 8 ahead of their Week 1 preseason game. Fans have known for weeks that the Titans would be heading to Atlanta to practice against the Falcons after Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris announced that the arrangements had been made and that they would hold joint practices with the Titans ahead of their Week 2 preseason game in Atlanta. The two teams will hold joint sessions on August 12 and 13 before their August 15 battle. At this point, no specifics have been given on what will take place for the Titans on August 14, but with so many new faces, it will likely be some type of walkthrough. It will be interesting to see how head coach Brian Callahan approaches practices and games in his second season. In 2024, Callahan held joint practices with the Seattle Seahawks before their Week 2 preseason battle and eventually held out many veterans from the subsequent game. With so many new and young faces fighting it out for spots on the depth chart, the team could opt for more in-game reps instead of rest.

Broncos special teams coach dubs rookie one of the most talented prospects he's had
Broncos special teams coach dubs rookie one of the most talented prospects he's had Broncos special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi on punter Jeremy Crawshaw: 'He's as talented of a prospect as I've ever had.' — Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) June 11, 2025 Punter hype? Punter hype! After losing Riley Dixon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during NFL free agency, the Denver Broncos used a sixth-round draft pick to select Australian punter Jeremy Crawshaw in April. The international punter grew up playing rugby league and Australian rules football before training to kick in American football. After attending Nathan Chapman's ProKick Australia academy, Crawshaw played college football at Florida. The 24-year-old punter impressed Broncos special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi this spring. 'Probably Jeremy the person," Rizzi said on June 11 when asked what impressed him about Crawshaw. "His maturity. It's not easy to come from another country and play a sport he had never played before. Think about that. Here's a guy that came from Australia, went to an SEC school, a top-level college program, [and] had a ton of success. His maturity level, he's kind of beyond his years if you will. That was when we were kind of evaluating all the punters in this draft, his name came up. I really feel like his intangibles, his off-the-field stuff was A-plus. "Now, his talent level is tremendous as well. I really believe that at that position, at a specialist position, your demeanor might be just as important as your ability, because it's a one-play-and-done. You have to have the mentality of kind of a batter in baseball if you will, or a golfer. You have to go on to the next swing. I really like his level-headedness. I really like his maturity. I really like his approach. Getting to know him in the process was a big part of us drafting him, so that was pretty cool.' That's extremely high praise from Rizzi, a high-profile coordinator who has coached in the NFL since 2009 and has experience as an associate head coach and interim head coach. Special teams players are often overlooked by fans, but Crawshaw appears to have been a huge addition for the Broncos this offseason. Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans.

Bucs' Bucky Irving Reveals Plan to Not Get ‘Stuck' in Year 2
Bucs' Bucky Irving Reveals Plan to Not Get 'Stuck' in Year 2 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. For a rookie who rushed for 1,122 yards and eight touchdowns, it is a little odd to say that they have to prove themselves in Year 2, but that is the mindset Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving is taking. Advertisement After usurping Rachaad White for the starting role early on last season, Irving produced several blistering displays that made him one of the better backs in football. However, as we know, success in the NFL isn't linear, and what was good one year may not be the next. And after a standout rookie season, Bucky is taking himself back to square one ahead of Year 2. 'Always going back and looking at the film and looking at things that you can get better at and improve in,' Irving said. 'Also not getting satisfied and stuck in last year because it's a new year, nobody cares about what you did last year, its what can you do for me now, but I always been that guy that never gets stuck in the past and always be with my feet at and work hard every day.' Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (6) hands off to running back Bucky Irving (7) during a game.© Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images After what Irving produced last season, it is only natural to expect an uptick in performance, and with the starting five of the offensive line all returning, there is every reason to suggest Bucky will again contribute heavily to Josh Grizzard's offense. Advertisement Irving only started three games last season, so we imagine that will increase dramatically now that he is the starter, with White and Sean Tucker as the change-ups behind Baker Mayfield. It was a rookie season to remember for the fourth-round pick, but last year was last year - now he's out to prove it wasn't a fluke.
