TADCO shareholders reject amending bylaws
Tabuk Agricultural Development Co.'s (TADCO) shareholders rejected the proposed amendment to the company's bylaws during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on June 18, according to a statement to Tadawul. The amendment aimed at aligning the articles with the new Companies Law and to restructure and renumber them accordingly. The attendance rate for the third EGM was based on the shareholders who attended in line with the company's articles of association.

Saudi: TADCO, SEC ink agreement for power transmission station
Riyadh - Tabuk Agricultural Development Company (TADCO) has signed an agreement with the National Electricity Transmission Company, a subsidiary of the Saudi Electricity Company. Under the agreement, which is valid until 31 December 2026 or until project completion, TADCO will establish a power transmission station for its farm in the Tabuk region, according to a bourse filing. The station, with a load capacity of 64 megavolt-amperes (MVA), will provide a stable electricity supply as part of the Kingdom's Liquid Fuel Displacement Program (LFDP). The initiative aligns with the objectives of the energy system as well as the environment, water, and agriculture systems to reduce reliance on liquid fuels in electricity generation. The project is expected to enhance operational efficiency, cut emissions, and improve network reliability without having a material financial impact on TADCO. TADCO pens agreement with SEC subsidiary under LFDP
Tabuk Agricultural Development Co. (TADCO) signed an agreement with National Grid SA, a subsidiary of Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC), to establish an electrical transmission station, according to a filing to Tadawul. The project aims to power the company's farm in Tabuk, with a load capacity of 64 MVA, as part of Saudi Arabia's Liquid Fuel Displacement Program (LFDP), in accordance with the signed agreement that is valid until Dec. 31, 2026, or until project completion. The deal is an extension of the ongoing work under the Kingdom's energy system and the environment, water and agriculture system to achieve the LFDP targets. The project will contribute to reducing emissions resulting from the use of liquid fuels in electricity production within the company's facilities. In addition, it will boost the reliability of the network's operational processes, while supporting the shift to using electrical networks, entailing no material financial impact on the company.

TADCO inks SAR 15M financing deal with ADF
Tabuk Agricultural Development Co. (TADCO) signed today, May 22, an agreement with the Agricultural Development Fund (ADF) to obtain an operational financing loan in accordance with ADF's regulations and lending guidelines, a statement said to Tadawul. Valued at SAR 15 million, the loan is scheduled for repayment on May 22, 2027. TADCO expects to receive the funds in the coming days, noting that the loan will support its operational activities and agricultural program. There are no related parties to the agreement, the statement noted. An announcement will be made once the funds are received, it added.
