According to the police, Dushyant, who worked in the private sector and lived with his parents and sisters, went into his room on Thursday afternoon and did not come out. The police rushed to the residence and broke the door open to find Dushyant hanging from the ceiling fan, Borkheda Police Station Circle Inspector Devesh Bhardwaj said. Initial inquiry suggests that Dushyant was allegedly experiencing a monetary crisis and was involved in cheque bounce cases, he further said. A case was lodged to determine the actual reason behind Dushyant's extreme step and investigate the role of the persons mentioned in his note, the CI added. Dushyant's body was handed over to his family members after post-mortem on Friday afternoon. Discussing suicides can be triggering for some. However, suicides are preventable. BENGALURU: The students of a private school in Mariyannapalya near Hebbal were shocked to find the body of a man hanging from the ceiling, in the school premises on Thursday. The deceased, identified as Rajendra (48), is suspected to have died by suicide. Rajendra hailed from Tamil Nadu, and worked at a construction site within the school premises, where he also used to sleep. On Wednesday morning, he apparently called up his wife, asking her to transfer Rs 20,000 to his bank account, which she refused to do. Frustrated, he consumed alcohol at night before hanging himself in an under-construction room. 'On Thursday morning, some students who went near the construction site to keep food provided by ISKCON, spotted the body hanging from the ceiling and began screaming. Some teachers, who also saw the body, reported the matter to the police,' said an officer. Subsequently, the school management declared a holiday and sent all the students home. HYDERABAD: A 43-year-old businessman, Muralidhar Reddy, died by suicide on Wednesday morning, allegedly over being cheated by his business partner and the company's accountant. Police said Muralidhar took the extreme step at his penthouse in Suraram between 5.30 am and 6 am while the rest of the family was asleep. A suicide note was found in his pocket, in which he accused Satyanarayana Goud and Phani Kumar of cheating him of Rs 30 lakh. He wrote that the betrayal had left him feeling like a 'useless fellow' in front of others. Police foil suicide bid Miyapur police rescued a woman from Secunderabad who attempted to die by suicide due to health issues on Wednesday. The woman, a mother of three working as a caretaker at a residence in Jubilee Hills, had reportedly been battling severe headaches and other health complications that led to depression. According to police, she went to the Hafizpet Railway Station, where she made a distress call to her family. Patrolling cops traced her location using her mobile phone signal and rescued her from the tracks near Hafizpet station. She was later counselled by Circle Inspector Kranthi Kumar. Former BJP MP's son dies by suicide in Rajasthan's Udaipur

A former MP's son allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his room in a library in Rajasthan's Udaipur, police said on Saturday. Ashish Bhagora, the son of former BJP MP from Salumbar Mahaveer Bhagora, was a library operator in Amba Mata area and was living in a room of the library for some time. On Saturday morning, he was found dead in his room. The body was lying on the ground and a piece of cloth was hanging from the ceiling. "Prima facie, he hanged himself from the ceiling last night and the body later fell on the ground. The body was shifted to the mortuary of the government hospital for postmortem," police said. His father Mahaveer Bhagora died due to corona infection in 2021. The matter came to light when some students reached the library and called him. When there was no response, they somehow entered the room and found him dead. The matter is being investigated to ascertain the causes of the suicide, the police said. Farmer dies by suicide in Mulugu, kin blame abuse over borrowed debt

MULUGU: A farmer allegedly died by suicide after consuming pesticide outside the house of a fertiliser shopowner in Abbapur village on Tuesday. The victim was identified as G Raju, a resident of the same village. According to his wife, G Padma, Raju had borrowed Rs 3 lakh from the shop owner, N Jitender, on interest. 'For three years, Jitender had been harassing and abusing my husband to repay the money. Unable to bear the pressure, my husband warned that he would consume pesticide in front of the shopowner's house if the harassment continued,' Padma said. On Wednesday, locals found Raju unconscious with froth coming from his mouth and immediately informed the police. Mulugu Sub-Inspector Venkateshwar Rao and his team rushed to the spot and shifted Raju to the Mulugu government hospital, where he succumbed later that night. Based on a complaint filed by Raju's wife, a case has been registered and an investigation is underway. The body was sent to Mulugu government hospital for postmortem.
