Shuvee Etrata on Anthony Constantino: 'Nandito na 'yung TDH ko!'
Shuvee Etrata got a sweet surprise on "Unang Hirit" on Friday: a tall, dark, and handsome man, Anthony Constantino! Upon returning to the morning show as a guest, Shuvee was visited on set by Anthony, who brought a bouquet for her. The Island Ate of Cebu was unable to hide her smiles and kilig as soon as the Sparkle artist walked in. Anthony said he is 'very happy' with Shuvee's journey inside the 'Pinoy Big Brother' house. 'I wanna thank them for just giving Shuvee really just this opportunity because if there's anybody that deserves it, it's really Shuvee,' he said. 'The world deserves to see her and I'm happy that the world got to see her. I'm just really, really proud of her and really happy,' he added. Anthony also took the opportunity to "show what you really mean to me.' 'Ever since I met you, really, you've been so kind and I could just tell that… I don't know, you really wear your heart on your sleeve and you really love everybody with all of your heart. And yeah, I'm really blessed and lucky to have you in my life,' Anthony added, to which Shuvee could not help but scream. Shuvee said she was not prepared to give a message but expressed her gratitude, saying that she did not expect to see Anthony outside Bahay Ni Kuya. The 'Sang'gre' actress added, 'Thank you for patiently waiting. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for being so special.' Shuvee also declared, 'Guys, nandito na po 'yung TDH ko!' referencing her trending acronym for tall, dark, and handsome, which she used to describe Donny Pangilinan. Earlier, Shuvee, along with all of the evicted housemates, returned to "PBB" as duo challengers. Kylie Padilla admits it's painful to see fellow Sang'gres incomplete: 'I'm heartbroken every time I watch it'
Kylie Padilla admitted that it is painful for her to see her "Encantadia" sisters, Glaiza De Castro, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez, incomplete because of her exit from the well-loved Kapuso series. In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Thursday, the Kapuso actress said their opening scene for "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" is "bittersweet." "Kasi siyempre I know my role in the whole series. Super ganda ng mangyayari kay Amihan, especially when it comes to the birth of the new Sang'gres. Kasama si Amihan do'n," she said. "But then, also sad, because, 'yon, patay pa rin si Amihan. She's still an Ivtre (spirit). So sad ako nga ako every time na I watch it and I see my three sisters nang wala si Amihan. I'm heartbroken every time I watch it," she added. She also looked back at the time when she had to exit the show after getting pregnant. "Sobrang pinaghirapan ko para lang magustuhan 'yung Amihan ko, 'yung version ni Amihan. And then, at the height, I got pregnant. It was unexpected. And I really didn't know how else to handle it," she said. Kylie acknowledged that her pregnancy may have shocked the project's creatives and writers on how they will adjust the story. "Sobrang malaking ano—not just regret, it's a huge—feeling ko kaya ko pang bumawi. Sana. 'Yun 'yung expectation ko dito. Dream kong mapanood kami ulit na kumpleto kami nang hindi patay si Amihan. Pambawi lang sa mga kapatid ko," she said. "It's really painful to see them not complete just because of me," Kylie said. Per Kylie, she and her "Encantadia" sisters never really talked about their reaction to her sudden pregnancy. "Siyempre kinongratulate. 'Congratulations. Happy for you,' ganiyan. Pero never namin napag-usapan 'yung how they felt after I left. Never. Siyempre ako din may fear ako na baka may disappointment," she said. "Sang'gre" is a spinoff of the iconic Kapuso fantaserye "Encantadia." It will introduce the newest keepers of the brilyantes: Terra (Bianca Umali), Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Deia (Angel Guardian). Michelle Dee said she's still not done in thanking all the Encantadiks for warmly welcoming her character, Hara Cassandra, in "Sang'gre." On Instagram, the Kapuso beauty queen shared some behind-the-scenes footage with Solenn Heussaff, who plays Cassiopeia. "I got 'it' from my mommas," Michelle wrote. "I still can't believe my first-ever scene was with Bathaluman Cassiopeia!? What a *pinch me* moment ng malala," she added. Hara Cassandra was created by Cassiopeia using Sang'gre Lira's hair, Amihan's ashes, and her own blood. When Michelle debuted in "Sang'gre," many netizens praised her stunning visuals and acting skills. The name "Cassandra" also trended on X. Karylle serenades 'It's Showtime' audience with original 'Encantadia' theme song
Twenty years later, Karylle still sounds magical singing the 2005 "Encantadia" theme song! During a commercial break on the set of "It's Showtime," the original Sang'gre Alena serenaded the audience with a performance of "Mahiwagang Puso," which she herself sang for the show's soundtrack. The video of the nostalgic performance was posted on GMA Network's TikTok page. Karylle made up the iconic main cast of "Encantadia" along with Iza Calzado, Diana Zubiri, and Sunshine Dizon. In 2016, GMA Network released a reboot of the series starring Gabbi Garcia, Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Glaiza De Castro. Brand new spin-off series "Sang'gre" just premiered on Monday.
