200 JEE toppers, parent to get free flight to IIT Madras for special campus tour
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) has invited the top 200 all-India rankers of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025 to visit its campus in Chennai -- and is footing the bill for their air travel, along with one parent per move is aimed at giving the country's brightest engineering aspirants a closer look at campus life, academic facilities, and the opportunities that come with being part of one of India's premier institute hopes that the visit will help students make an informed decision before choosing their IIT and course preferences during counselling. Each year, after the declaration of JEE Advanced results, the top rankers are wooed by several IITs through outreach campaigns, alumni meets, and personal counselling IIT Madras has gone a step further this year by covering the airfares for both the student and one parent. 'We had read a lot about IIT Madras, but being here gives us a much clearer picture. The AAT exam was held offline on June 5, 2025, and only candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2025 were eligible to appear for the AAT exam. Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone is placed in the common rank list (CRL) 1 in the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. The CRL 2, Saksham Jindal, has also scored the same marks as CRL 1 – 332 marks. Most candidates from IIT Hyderabad zone have qualified JEE Advanced 2025 exam. As many as 12,946 students have qualified from the IIT-H zone alone, followed by 11,370 from IIT Delhi and 11,226 from the IIT Bombay zone. As many as 5,445 have qualified from IIT Roorkee zone, 5,353 from the IIT Kharagpur zone, 5,295 from the IIT Kanpur zone and 2,743 from IIT Guwahati zone.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has announced an Open House event for candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2025 examination. An initiative by the Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives at IIT Delhi under the 'Experience IITD' program, the Open house aims to help JEE Advanced 2025 qualifiers make informed decisions by helping them understand the academics, research, extra- and co-curricular activities, and campus life of IIT Delhi, a press statement informed. Notably, it is for the first time that the Open House will be organised across three major cities Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
