61 Ukrainian drones shot down during night
Moscow - (Saba): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Friday, that its air defense systems have brought down 61 Ukrainian drones last night. The ministry wrote in a statement: "During the last night, from 20:00 Moscow time on June 19 this year until 07:00 Moscow time on June 20 this year, the operational air defense systems destroyed 61 Ukrainian drones." It is noteworthy that 22 of them were destroyed over the province of Oriol, 14 over the Kursk region, seven over Bilgorod Province, and five over the province of Foreung, as three marches were dropped over both Volgograd, Rostov, Tola and Bransk, and another was destroyed over the lands of the Moscow region. Kiev followed terrorist methods, foremost of which is the use of offensive marches, artillery shelling against civilians and civilian establishments in Russia, in an attempt to pay attention to the failure of what it calls the "counter -attack", which had been announced in June 2023. Russia Successfully Launches "Angara-A5" Rocket from Plesetsk Cosmodrome
Moscow - Saba: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the heavy-lift "Angara-A5" rocket was successfully launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region, carrying a spacecraft on board. "On June 19, 2025, the Angara-A5 launch vehicle, carrying a spacecraft, was launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome (Arkhangelsk region) on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Defense," the statement said. The statement noted that this marks the tenth launch in the history of the Angara rocket series. Since 2014, five light "Angara-1.2" rockets and three heavy "Angara-A5" rockets have been launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. Additionally, another heavy rocket was launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in April 2024. The Russian state space agency "Roscosmos" has signed a government contract with the Khrunichev Center for the production of three "Angara-A5M" rockets, which are intended for launching modules of the new Russian space station, according to a statement from the agency. The statement, dated June 6, mentioned that the upgraded version will be capable of placing spacecraft weighing up to 27 tons into orbit, compared to the standard Angara-A5, which can carry only up to 24 tons. According to Sputnik, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage showing a missile strike carried out by an Iskander system crew on the command center of the 36th Naval Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Svyatogorovka area of Donetsk People's Republic. The strike accurately hit its target, destroying it. Russia announces control of new town in eastern Ukraine, downing 202 drones
Moscow - Saba: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its forces have captured a new town in eastern Ukraine, eliminating 1,375 soldiers and downing 202 drones. The ministry stated in a statement on Tuesday that, as a result of decisive action by units of the Russian Center Group, the town of Lysovka in Donetsk Oblast was captured. It explained that its forces targeted Ukrainian Armed Forces concentrations in the Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv Oblasts, noting that Ukrainian forces lost dozens of armored combat vehicles, personnel carriers, vehicles, field guns, ammunition depots, and electronic warfare stations as a result. It indicated that operational-tactical aviation, drones, missile forces, and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces targeted infrastructure facilities at a military airport and a drone production workshop.
