The Best Starz Streaming Deals: Save Up To 64% On A Subscription Right Now

Starz is home to countless series with dedicated fanbases. With hits like Outlander, P-Valley, BMF and Power Book III: Raising Kanan, it's no wonder people continue to subscribe. But if you're already paying for multiple streaming subscriptions, you're probably wondering if there are any Starz deals right now—and how to find them. Starz is currently offering a $3 per month deal on its streaming service. Here's how to sign up. New Starz customers can currently choose between two deal options, depending on whether they'd like to pay on a semi-annual or monthly basis. With the Semi-Annual Plan, you can pay just $17.99 for the first six months (which comes out to $3 per month), or opt for the Monthly Plan and save 64% on your first three months (that's $4 per month). After those deal periods, if you don't cancel your subscription it will renew at the standard rate of $10.99 per month. Here's everything you need to know about this month's best Starz deals. A Starz subscription typically costs $10.99 per month for a Monthly Plan or $45.99 upfront for six months with a Semi-Annual Plan. Occasionally, the streaming service offers discounts to new members, allowing them to save on their subscription for the first few months before paying the regular fee. Starz frequently runs promotions for its streaming service—including the current $3-per-month sign-up deal—though the offers vary. In the past, new and eligible subscribers have been able to access a $0.99-per-month deal through Hulu and Amazon Prime during events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That discount hasn't been confirmed for 2025, but you may see it crop up later this year if you're willing to wait. No, Starz isn't free with an Amazon Prime membership. However, Amazon Prime does offer a 7-day free trial period for those looking to try out Starz before committing (you can sign up here). All you need is an active Prime membership. Once the trial period ends, Prime members can subscribe to Starz through Amazon Prime Video for an additional $8.99 per month. It's also worth keeping an eye out for occasional promotions—Amazon offered a Starz streaming deal for just $1.99 per month for the first three months back in March of this year. As we mentioned above, Amazon Prime offers a 7-day free trial of Starz for existing members—but that's not the only way to get a Starz subscription for free. New FuboTV subscribers can access Starz during a 7-day free trial, while Hulu users also get a 7-day free trial window. Just don't forget to cancel before the trial ends if you want to avoid being charged for the subscription. There are also some ways to get Starz by bundling it with another streaming service, as outlined below. Yes, Starz is available to bundle with other streaming services for an additional cost. However, depending on the specific bundle, some package options may not offer significant savings compared to the standalone Starz subscription, which costs $10.99 per month. It could be trying one of the free trials above first to see if you actually need both streaming services at once. Starz is accessible as an add-on through services like Sling TV, Fubo, DirecTV, Philo and Amazon Prime. Additionally, Starz offers a bundle deal with BritBox for $14.99 per month. You can cancel your Starz subscription on either the Starz app or Starz website through your account settings. To cancel on the website, look for 'Billing Plan & Information' and select 'Cancel Subscription' to deactivate your membership. On the app, find 'Account Management' under settings followed by 'My Subscription,' which should display the option to cancel. Once you've successfully opted out, you'll still have access to the streaming service until the next billing cycle.

‘Power Book III: Rasing Kanan' Recap: Kanan Finally Presses Raq, Unique Gets The Green Light To Start His War & We Finally Meet Breeze

Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan In the season four finale of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, the tension between Raq (Patina Miller) and Unique (Joey Bada$$) reaches its tipping point, and war is finally here. Kanan (MeKai Curtis) finally learns the fate of his missing girlfriend, Krystal, and is further manipulated into breaking bread with his mother's enemies . Kanan Learns About Krystal's Fate, Raq & Unique Don't See Eye-To-Eye Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan After getting the information from Detective Garcia on last week's episode, Jukebok (Hailey Kilgore) breaks the sad news to her cousin that Krystal is dead, and of course, Kanan doesn't take it very well. Jukebox tries to console him as he tears his apartment up, but it's useless. Kanan then tells Jukebox that he believes Snaps (Wendell Pierce) and Pop's (Erika Woods) story about his mother being behind the deaths of both Famous (Antonio Ortiz) and his girlfriend. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Jukebox tries her best to convince Kanan that it couldn't have been Raq, but Kanan is not trying to hear it, telling his cousin he knows his mother better than anyone, and she always takes away people he cares about. Speaking of Raq, we pick up where she and Lou Lou (Malcolm Mays) left off, at Unique's headquarters. This turns out to be a complete waste of time because Unique uses the moment to taunt his rivals. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Unique tries to get Lou Lou riled up by talking about his sexual encounters with his sister and tries to get underneath Raq's skin by calling her a bad mother and revealing that Kanan wants to work with him. Raq tells him to chill because if he continues to mess with her son, she will have no choice but to get at those close to him because family is fair game at that point. Lou Lou wastes no time in tracking down Unique's baby mother, Pernessa. Stefano Cuts Ties With Raq; She Loses Her Restaurant Businesses Raq has no idea her business will take a serious hit because Stefano (Tony Danza) decides he no longer wants to work with her or Marvin because he feels working with them has made him look soft to his New Jersey rivals. Marvin (London Brown) tries to smooth things over with the mob boss, but he only manages to make things worse. She also takes another L when the owner of the Chinese restaurants where she sells drugs tells her he no longer wants to do business with her. Despite her threatening him, he tells her he's no longer scared of her because he is old anyway, and he sent his remaining family back to China so she can't hold that over his head anymore. He drops some deep knowledge on Raq, telling her she's a monster, but she can't see it. Detective Garcia pops up on Jukebox with more information, telling her that a Black woman was seen leaving the stairwell where Krystal's body was found. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Kanan runs to speak with Snaps and Pop to see if they know who killed Krystal. Instead, the bank-robbing duo tries to convince Kanan to work with Unique. Kanan tells them he never had any intention of working with Unique. They then try to convince him to work with their nephew, Branford, revealing to Kanan that Raq never gave them a cut of her business. Unique Makes A Power Move, Stefano Is Blindsided By Russo Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Unique is itching to go to war, but he knows he can't make a move on Stefano without Russo's blessing. So he visits Sal's widow, Teresa, and takes advantage of her grief by convincing her to protect his baby's mother and son while instigating a feud between her and Russo. Teresa still wants Raq and Stefano to pay for Sal's death. Marvin is still trying to make things right with Stefano, so he finds Early (Chris Redd) hiding out in a motel room and kills him and his associate. Jukebox is the first to confront Raq about Krystal. Raq tells her niece she had nothing to do with Krystal or Famous's death, and she tells Jukebox she's just like her father, Marvin, always rushing into a situation without full knowledge of what's going on. Jukebox replies by telling her she would rather be like her father than Raq. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Stefano and Russo meet alone at the park, and we learn they both conspired to take out Sal so Russo can take his spot. Russo stabs Stefano after he says it's time for the truth to come out. Lou Lou Speaks With Kanan, Breezes Makes His Appearance Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan A still very upset Kanan links up with his uncle to discuss what's happening. Lou Lou tries to explain to his nephew that his mother deserves more respect than what he gives her by revealing that it was she who ended their mother's suffering because she had the guts to do it and was willing to carry that stress on her back. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Kanan is stunned at what he learns, but his uncle's words go in one ear and out the other as his nephew is still blinded by his rage. Raq Berates Marvin, Jukebox Realizes She Loves Her Dad We catch up with Marvin and Raq, and he tells his sister the bad news about Stefano no longer working with them. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Raq berates Marvin, reminding him that he always manages to screw things up. Marvin doesn't take his sister's words kindly and reminds her she isn't perfect before he leaves. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan While Marvin has issues with Raq, his daughter, Jukebox, is hanging out with Iesha again. Iesha tries to convince Jukebox to go to Spelman with her, but Jukebox says nah, explaining that she would rather stay with her father and that he's the only one who would never leave her. Kanan links up with Snaps and Pop again, and they introduce him to their nephew Branford, who turns out to be the Breeze (Shameik Moore) guy we have been hearing about. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Unique meets with Russo, who is clearly worried about his life after stabbing Stefano. He tells Unique he no longer care what he does cause either way he's screwed saying he 'took a big swing and missed.' He gives Unique the green light to go after Raq because he knows if Stefano survives the knife attack, he is in big trouble. Lou Lou Makes A Move On Pernessia, Kanan Confronts Raq Raq gives Lou Lou permission to attack Unique's crew. He and B-Rilla snatch up Pernessa and her son. After saving her from a crazy foster family situation, Gerald's daughter Amber has a new home, and Marvin is there to make sure everything goes smoothly. Detective Garcia catches up with Kanan, who shares the same information that was shared with Jukebox, telling him that a Black woman was seen at the scene of Krystal's murder. Kanan instantly believes this is the information or is a smoking gun. After having a conversation with her dad, Jukebox still doesn't think it was Raq behind Krystal's death. Kanan is trying to hear it, telling his cousin that if she tries to stop him, it instantly means she is against him. Kanan leaves in rage, and Jukebox quickly picks up the phone to make a call. Now that he has the green light, Unique is firebombing Raq's businesses. His crew even shoots at Marvin, but thankfully, they miss, and Marvin lives to fight another day. Kanan finally meets with Raq and draws a gun on his mother. He accuses his mother of killing the people he loves, and she tells him that she has nothing to do with Famous and Krystal's deaths. Raq does her best to convince Kanan to put down the gun. The episode reaches its conclusion, leaving us with a mega cliffhanger as the screen fades to black, and you hear a single gunshot, leaving us to ponder if Kano shot his mother or not. Social media had many thoughts about the finale. You can see those reactions in the gallery below. Power Book III: Raising Kanan to End With Season 5 — But Is This the Final Chapter for the Starz Franchise?

Power Book III is gearing up for its final chapter — which may or may not mark the end of the Power franchise as we know it. Starz on Friday announced that Power Book III: Raising Kanan will conclude with Season 5. The news was revealed in conjunction with the prequel series' Season 4 finale, which introduced Shameik Moore (Wu-Tang: An American Saga) as the oft-mentioned, but never-before-seen Branford 'Breeze' Frady. More from TVLine Power Book IV: Force Ending After 3 Seasons — EP Promises 'Fulfilling' Conclusion to Tommy's Story Power Prequel Series in the Works at Starz, Will Chronicle Origins of Ghost and Tommy Rescue HI-Surf Cancellation Explained: 'We Went All-In,' Says Fox Exec, But It 'Didn't Catch On Like We Had Hoped' 'It was always my intention that Raising Kanan would run for five seasons, and thanks to my friends and partners at Starz and Lionsgate, as well as the incredible cast, crew and writing staff, I've been able to tell the entirety of the story I set out to tell way back in 2019,' executive producer Sascha Penn said in a statement provided to our sister site Deadline. 'Having said that, with the table we've set in this season finale and the inevitable introduction of Breeze, there is still an exceptionally intense and action-packed season left for the viewers to experience, and I assure you that the stakes for Kanan and the entire Thomas family have never been higher. I'm very proud of this series, and grateful that we've been able to see it through to what is an incredibly explosive and satisfying conclusion for the unbelievably loyal fans of the Power Universe.' The original Power launched on Starz in 2014, and ended with Season 6 in 2020. That was followed by three spinoffs: Power Book II: Ghost (which aired four seasons and ended in October 2024), Power Book III: Raising Kanan (which will end with Season 5; premiere date TBA) and Power Book IV: Force (which will return for its third and final season this fall; premiere date TBA). A fourth offshoot, subtitled Influence and centered on slippery politician Rashad Tate, was called off in 2022. Two years later, Starz announced that Origins — which would delve into Ghost and Tommy's backstories, and presumably follow the events of Raising Kanan — was in active development, though there have been no further updates as of press time. ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan' Recap: Kanan Grows Desperate, Lou-Lou Wants Back In The Drug Game & Raq Enters The Dragon's Lair

Black America Web Featured Video CLOSE Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Kanan (MeKai Curtis) is spiraling as he continues to lose people close to him, and Marvin (London Brown) is in big trouble with Raq (Patina Miller). After getting a taste last week, Lou-Lou (Malcolm Mays) is officially back in the game. Poor Krystal The episode opens by quickly revealing what happened to Krystal after she was snatched off the bus to Maryland by crooked cops employed by Snaps (Wendell Pierce) and Pop (Erika Woods). Kanan's boo is being held up in an apartment against her will where she is being beaten and drugged. When she wakes from a night in captivity, we see Pop roll up on her pretending to be a caring figure. Pop is trying to extract information from her by pretending to be nice so that she and her significant other can use to further their grip on the hustle game in Queens. Krystal reveals to Pop that Kanan is preparing a peanut butter sandwich for her and that Kanan doesn't know who killed Famous (Antonio Ortiz), and that he thinks his mother had something to do with his friend's murder. Kanan's distressed boo tells Pop that she has tried to tell her boyfriend that she doesn't believe it was Raq. Hearing everything she needs to know, a ruthless Pop shoots poor Krystal in the head while she is enjoying her peanut butter sandwich. Raq Surprises Kanan, The Police Press Lou-Lou & B-Rilla Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Kanan and Jukebox (Hailey Kilgore) meet at the diner to assess what is happening. After a conversation with Krystal's cousins in Maryland, he learns his girlfriend never reached her final destination, and he is beginning to be worried. The conversation shifts in tone when Raq shows up, instantly making Kanan mad because Jukebox surprised him with this move, knowing he doesn't care for his mother. Meanwhile, at the studio, Lou-Lou, B-Rilla (Pardison Fontaine), and Imani receive a visit from the police, who ask questions about the shooting in front of the studio in the last episode, resulting in the well-deserved deaths of Kenyatta and Julius at the hands of Lou-Lou. All three say they know nothing about the shooting. Imani is stunned when Lou-Lou uses her as an alibi. The detectives then confirm that the bullets from the weapons match those of the guns used during the botched robbery and at Lowery's mansion. Lou-Lou adds that what happened outside the studio is connected with the robbery and has nothing to do with them. A disgusted Imani leaves as a cold and callous Lou-Lou looks on. When the cops leave, B-Rilla says the detectives don't know anything, with Lou-Lou adding that if he keeps his mouth shut, it will stay that way. Raq Makes Her Case To Kanan, Early Becomes An Issue For Marvin At the diner, Raq reveals to her son that she only wants to speak with him because Krystal comes to her worried that Kanan will do something stupid. So she implored Raq to reach out to Kanan. Kanan finally asks his mother if she had anything to do with Famous's death, but Raq shuts that down immediately. Raq then learns that Krystal is missing, and she tells Kanan that she also has nothing to do with that. Kanan is not pleased with the answer and storms out of the diner. Early (Chris Redd) decides to step to Marvin about his now-dead cousin, Londell, because he believes Marvin killed him. At first, Marvin plays dumb, but then taunts Early, asking him if he did kill Londell, what would Early do about it? Not feeling Marvin's answer, Early goes to see Stefano (Tony Danza) and snitches on him about Londell. Meanwhile, things get significantly worse for Raq's business when David is assassinated at a gay club by a mystery hitter played by Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson. Imani Tells Lou-Lou To Kick Rocks, Kanan Visits Unique Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan After being surprised when Lou-Lou used her as an alibi, she informed Lou-Lou she was done with him and no longer wanted to work with him. Strangely, we thought she liked him because he was a bad boy. Jukebox runs into Iesha, and the two grab a bite while flirting. She tells Jukebox she believes she can do whatever she puts her mind to, but Jukebox is happily on her family's path. We quickly learn the identity of David's killer, and it turns out he is a goon from New Jersey that Unique hired to take out Raq's business partner. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Unique gets another visitor when Kanan pops in, asking questions about Krystal. Unique tells Kanan he doesn't know anything about his girlfriend or O-Cee, which is a lie because he killed him last week. Kanan impresses Unique by proudly taking credit for killing Unique's brother, Ronnie (Grantham Coleman), telling Unique that he would do it again if he got the chance. Unique expresses interest in working with Kanan because he feels it could benefit them. Kanan leaves the tailor shop but does not know his mother is clocking him. Stefano Drops A Bombshell About Marvin, Lou-Lou Quits Music Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Stefano meets with Raq and Marvin and agrees to help them move their drugs temporarily now that David is dead. Stefano then asks to speak with Raq alone because he has a bombshell to drop. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Stafano tells Raq that Early came by and said to him that Marvin instructed him to take his friend, who is a made man. Stefano says he believes Early. Stefano also lies and says that Marvin expressed taking over the business from Raq, conveniently leaving out that it was his idea for Marvin to take over. After the meeting, Raq tells Marvin that Stefano knows everything, and once again, he f***ed up. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Marvin tells Raq he will fix it, already killing Londell and possibly will be taking out Early now too. Lou-Lou's life is also changing swiftly. He speaks with Lowell, who wants to know what's happening now that Imani no longer wants to work with Lou-Lou. Eventually, Lou-Lou decides he doesn't want to work with the label now because, in his heart, he is still a 'street n***a.' Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan While hanging out with Iesha, Detective Garcia pops up on Jukebox and tells her that he will keep stalking her until she has some information to share with him. Marvin Saves Amber, Lou-Lou Is Officially Back In The Game Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Marvin decides to check up on Amber and is shocked to learn that she hasn't been in school for a while. After bribing a school employee, he gets the address where Amber lives now and heads there. When Marvin arrives at the house he finds that Amber's parents are two junkies that have the little girl locked in a room with a crying infant. Marvin kills the two junkies and saves Amber and the baby and tells the little girl to call the cops and tell them a masked white boy came in there and killed her adoptive parents. Jukebox speaks with Kanan, who is growing frustrated after calling all the hospitals in the city and even visiting Krystal's father to see if he knows where she is. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Jukebox tries to reassure her cousin that everything will work out, but Kanan isn't buying it. She also tells him that she will contact someone who should be able to help them. That person was Detective Garcia, who confirmed the bad news that Krystal's body had been found, showing her a picture of the girl's corpse. Lou–Lou links up with Raq, and he tells her he wants back in the game. Source: Starz / Power Book III: Raising Kanan Raq hesitates, but she gives Lou-Lou another chance to slay dragons and tells him to 'strap up' because they are going into the dragon's lair. Kanan visits Snaps and Pop, hoping to get some answers about Krystal. Instead, they lie and tell him that Raq is responsible for Famous's death. The episode ends with Raq and Lou-Lou visiting Unique, telling her former lover, now nemesis, they need to talk, getting a smile out of him. Ravens Coach Reacts to Star QB Acting Debut

Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson made his acting debut on Friday, appearing in an episode of "Power Book III: Raising Kanan" on Starz. The former Louisville Cardinals quarterback won the Heisman Trophy before being drafted by the Ravens with the final pick of the first round in 2018. While he's had a measure of success with his college career, he could be in store for an acting career when he hangs up his cleats - whenever that may be. Advertisement Jackson won the Heisman Trophy during his senior season at Louisville, then notched two NFL MVP honors as a member of the Ravens. Ravens coach Jim Harbaugh revealed ahead of the episode that he was looking forward to it, and saw a familiar look on Jackson's face in the preview. "I am looking forward to it," Harbaugh told reporters. "You know, that facial expression in that clip, I've seen that look before. He's looked at me that way a couple times, it's a tough look right there. He's got the face of an actor, man. "We just don't need him to get too excited about the acting too early, let's finish the football first. But I know he feels that way." Advertisement After the experience, Jackson gave credit to all the actors and actresses who do that on a full-time basis. "I tip my hats off to those actors and actresses because man, that's a different type of world,'' he said. "Not just football — putting on pads and going out there and doing something physical — you got to really memorize and articulate your words and do something this way just to make the scene much better. A lot goes into it, so I tip my hats off." Related: Ravens Draft Could Produce Multiple Starters Related: Bills Rival Wants to 'Get Josh Allen'
