Does the FBI have Epstein's secret photos of Donald Trump?

Live Events (You can now subscribe to our (You can now subscribe to our Economic Times WhatsApp channel Veteran journalist and author Michael Wolff has claimed that Jeffrey Epstein once showed him Polaroid photos of Donald Trump with topless young girls—and that the FBI may now have those images in its on The Court of History podcast with Sidney Blumenthal and Sean Wilentz, Wolff recalled an encounter with Epstein shortly after Trump's 2016 election victory. According to Wolff, Epstein went to his safe and pulled out a stack of Polaroids featuring Trump at Epstein's Palm Beach mansion.'They were kind of spread out like playing cards,' Wolff said. 'And it was Trump—with girls of uncertain age.'Wolff said he vividly remembered three of the photographs: 'In two of them, topless girls are sitting on Trump's lap. In another, he has a visible stain on his pants while several girls are laughing and pointing at it.'He estimated the photos were taken between 1999 and 2001. He also speculated that federal agents may have seized the images during the FBI's 2019 raid of Epstein's New York townhouse, which followed Epstein's arrest on sex trafficking charges.'I think it's certainly not unlikely that they were in the safe when the FBI came in after his arrest and took everything,' Wolff FBI has declined to comment on whether such photographs were ever explosive claim adds to ongoing scrutiny of Epstein's links to powerful men—including Trump, who has attempted to downplay their relationship. In a recent interview with NBC, Trump stated: 'Even Epstein's lawyer said I had nothing to do with it … I was not friendly with Epstein for probably 18 years before he died.'Wolff, known for his Trump-era bestseller Fire and Fury, said he had occasional contact with Epstein between 2014 and Trump's first year in office.'Epstein and Trump had been the best of friends for almost 15 years,' he said. 'They came from the same place. They were instrumental in each other's rise.'He added that Epstein often bragged about relationships with world leaders, including Fidel Castro, Mohammed bin Salman, and Vladimir Putin—though Wolff cautioned that Epstein blurred the line between fact and fantasy.'Let's not go overboard,' Wolff said. 'There was a reality—and then there was his augmented reality.'He also revealed that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak held private conversations with Epstein about Trump. 'Ehud was interested in knowing everything possible that Jeffrey could tell him about Trump,' Wolff Elon Musk fueled speculation with a now-deleted post on X, writing: 'Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.'Trump allies, including Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, have dismissed suggestions of a cover-up, with Patel telling Joe Rogan earlier this year: 'There's been like 15 years of people coming in and creating fictions about this that don't exist.'However, as of now, the alleged existence of the photos remains unverified.

Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy shares her favourite photos of the One Direction star taken before his death in latest tribute

Liam Payne 's girlfriend Kate Cassidy has shared her favourite photos of the One Direction star in her latest tribute. The influencer, 26, has been offering glimpses into her relationship with the One Direction star since he tragically passed away at the age of 31 while in Argentina in October last year. Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, Kate chatted to fans as she answered questions they had sent in. In one post, Kate was asked what her favourite photo of her and Liam is and she shared a snap of her coffee table featuring an array of printed out pictures. An adorable snap Liam and Kate cuddled up together at Disneyland, while another they were beaming as they enjoyed a day out in full glam. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. In one post, Kate was asked what her favourite photo of her and Liam is and she shared a snap of her coffee table featuring an array of printed out pictures She also showed a Polaroid of Liam, where he was doing an upside down peace side, that had 'I love you' written on it. 'I have too many but I keep these on my coffee table,' she wrote. 'Should probably get frames though.' It is the latest sweet tribute shared by Kate, after she shared a touching unseen photo of the late singer, taken before his tragic death, last month. On Friday, she took to her Instagram Stories to post a image of the pair that had never been seen by the public. The intimate snap showed the couple holding hands on a beach, with their faces out of view. Liam was wearing white shorts as he held her hand, with some of his distinctive arm tattoos visible in the snap. Just days ago, Kate shared snaps from her last holiday with the One Direction star - and the special meaning behind them. The influencer took to Instagram on Monday to share pictures of herself from a lavish trip to Greece, seven months after his tragic death, as well as a getting ready snap where the star could be seen behind her in the mirror. Kate looked sensational in the snaps, with her skin glowing as she donned a white lace and satin summer dress. She said Liam had done 'everything to get me the perfect photo' and gushed over how beautiful she looked, but she admitted to only finding flaws. However in tribute to the star she shared all of the pictures 'unedited, unfiltered' to celebrate 'the way you saw me'. Sharing the carousel of snaps, Kate wrote: 'These are some of the last photos Liam took of me. We were in Greece, on our last holiday together. I asked Liam to take a few photos of me because I really loved my dress. 'As usual, with no hesitation, Liam did everything he could to get me the perfect photo. We walked around the entire resort trying to find the perfect background. 'That's just who he was. Always thinking of me in the most thoughtful ways. While he was taking them, he kept smiling and saying how beautiful I looked and how I was going love every picture. 'When I looked back at the photos, all I saw were flaws. I hated how I looked. My pose, my hair, my face- everything. I picked myself apart, and told him I'd try editing them, maybe fix them enough to find one I liked. 'He just looked at me and said, "I wish you saw how beautiful you are through my eyes".' She added: 'And I didn't listen. I let my insecurities silence the way he saw me that night. So today, I'm posting them. For you, Liam. Just as they are. Unfiltered, unedited. Just me. The way you saw me. I miss you. I love you. Always.' It was revealed last week that Liam, 31, died without leaving a will - meaning UK intestacy laws will determine where his money goes. That means his ex Cheryl Tweedy, 41, was appointed to take control of his estate alongside music industry lawyer Richard Bray. Court papers confirmed Cheryl is now responsible for Liam's property, money and possessions - a huge task the star is said to be quietly managing behind the scenes. Liam and Cheryl dated for two years and share an eight-year-old son, Bear, who is expected to inherit his dad's fortune via a trust.

Mixtape turned me back into a Millennial teenage dirtbag

Mixtape is the answer to the question, 'What if the movie High Fidelity was a video game?' It's not a perfect analogy, but it's pretty damn close, and either way it's a sign that Mixtape is going to be a fabulous slice of late-1990s, early-2000s nostalgia, complete with a banging soundtrack. You can hear it in the trailers — Mixtape absolutely nails the classic Moviefone tone, and it seems that this vibe extends to the full game. I played roughly 30 minutes of Mixtape at Summer Game Fest 2025, and in that time I became enamored with the game's lead character, a rebellious and insufferably cool teenager named Rockford who's about to leave suburbia to pursue her dreams of becoming a music supervisor in New York City. She talks directly to the player as she introduces her two also-very-cool best friends and cues up the game's music, breaking the fourth wall just like John Cusack. Most of the game plays out in a third-person view, following along as Rockford and her friends casually skate down tree-lined streets, flee from the cops in a high-speed shopping-cart sequence, and hang out in her bedroom, looking at Polaroid pictures and CDs while planning the best way to steal liquor from her parents' stash. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. Mixtape comes from The Artful Escape studio Beethoven & Dinosaur, and it similarly uses music as a core storytelling and scene-setting device. This makes perfect sense, considering the studio's founder, Johnny Galvatron, is a legit rock star based in Melbourne, Australia. Leaning into musicality also worked out well for The Artful Escape , which earned Beethoven & Dinosaur a BAFTA award in 2022. Mixtape 's soundtrack is populated by the top teenage-dirtbag bands from the 80s, 90s and slightly beyond, including DEVO, Roxy Music, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division and the Cure (but not Wheatus, as far as I can tell, just to be clear). Visually, Mixtape has a painterly 3D aesthetic with gorgeous golden light and purple shadows, reminiscent of Life is Strange or Telltale's The Walking Dead series. In action, the characters move in a windswept, Spider-Verse animation style that doesn't interrupt the gameplay flow. Even soaring down winding asphalt roads on a skateboard, Rockford responds immediately to controller input and her ride isn't interrupted by stray or late animations. Mixtape looks lovely and feels great. There are also surprising little moments with alternative mechanics in the game's first half hour, including a scene straight out of Wayne's World where you make the trio headbang in a car, and another where you control two tongues making out in a close-up, Ren & Stimpy kind of cartoon realism. When Rockford explains what a music supervisor is, real-world reference images fill the screen in a tongue-in-cheek educational interlude. Throughout all of this, the music continues to roll, each song purposefully placed and given time to shine. It would be easy for Mixtape to feel like a cheap nostalgia grab, an exploitation of Millennial players' memories of skipping CDs and pre-cellphone party planning, but that simply isn't the case so far. Mixtape feels like a love letter to the early aughts, filled with surprising mechanics, beautiful graphics and all the right references executed extremely well. Mixtape is due to hit Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2025, published by Annapurna Interactive.

9 Songs Ruined When Artists Revealed True Meanings

It's very common to start singing lyrics to a song without realizing what the artist is actually singing or rapping about — just going off vibes. But have you ever really sat down and researched lyrics or over analyzed them, only to find out the meaning behind them is completely different than what you envisioned? Well, then you're not alone. Here are a few songs where the fan interpretation is a complete 180 from the musician's inspiration: "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt Last month, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the single's worldwide release, James thanked fans for what they helped the song become. The hit song is the third single from James's debut album Back to Bedlam. It was nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. He also shared the meaning behind those notable interpretation: A love song about feeling a spark with someone, but not being able to do anything about meaning: "20 years ago today, I released a song that bought me this house," James said in a video post on X (better known as Twitter). "Whoever thought a song about being high as a kite on drugs, stalking someone else's girlfriend would resonate quite so much? Thank you. You guys are beautiful." "Hey Ya!" by OutKast While we were busy shaking it like a Polaroid picture, André 3000 had a deeper story behind the inspiration for the group's hit single from their fifth studio album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. "Hey Ya!" gained immense commercial success, topped the charts, and even won a Interpretation: A fun, upbeat party anthem about love and meaning: "'Hey Ya!' is pretty much about the state of relationships in the 2000s," André 3000 told MTV News per Genius. "It's about some people who stay together in relationships because of tradition, because somebody told them, 'You guys are supposed to stay together.' But you pretty much end up being unhappy for the rest of your life.""The song isn't autobiographical, it's more like fantasies or tangents based on real life," André 3000 told HuffPost. "Moments from my life spark a thought when I'm writing. The story was set in the '50s, so the song was me trying to do a Woody Allen kinda thing, a humorous kind of honesty. We actually reached out to Woody Allen to appear in the video for 'Hey Ya!' His schedule didn't work, though. We had also asked Ralph Lauren because I designed the clothes in the video to look like polo players, which is a style he popularized." "because i liked a boy" by Sabrina Carpenter Fan Interpretation: A sassy response to fan rumors about a love triangle with Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett. Real Meaning: A critique of how the internet vilifies young women and turns personal matters into public judgment.'It was very therapeutic. People made this narrative and put it on me — I never asked for that.'Many fans assumed this song was a way of Sabrina responding to Olivia's hit single "Driver's License," and tabloids only fueled the rumors.'One thing that experience did do was that it stripped back a lot of layers of tolerating anything that's less than real," Sabrina told Vogue. "Because I didn't really have the energy to tolerate anything that was less than genuine and authentic at that time,'"because i liked a boy" is featured on Sabrina's fifth studio album emails i can't send. The album title derived from the way the songs were created — they spawned from emails and notes she wrote herself during quarantine to help herself "cope" with her feelings. She went on to reveal that the love triangle speculations and treatment she received online also influenced some of the lyrics:"I had to fight the urge to do what I normally do — cover it up with confidence — and instead just actually feel those feelings," she told Rolling Stone per iHeart. "The tolerance for bullshit in the last two years really minimized for me. When you're younger, it's a lot easier to let the words and labels that people put on you affect you and become part of who you are. Once you start to rebel against that, it starts to feel a little bit scarier, but also a bit more freeing. That's why it felt like growing pains the whole time I was making it." "Thinkin Bout You" by Frank Ocean Fan Interpretation: A love song about a woman he can't get out of his mind. Real Meaning: A heartbreak song about a man he was in love with.'I don't have any secrets I need kept anymore," Frank wrote in an open letter on Tumblr per Genius. "4 summers ago, I met somebody. I was 19 years old. He was, too. We spent that summer, and the summer after, together. Every day, almost. And on the days we were together, time would glide."On July 4, 2012, six days before he released his debut studio album channel ORANGE, Frank released an open letter on Tumblr where he came out about his sexuality. He detailed his first experience falling in love with a man after spending almost every day together for nearly two summers, only for those feelings to go unrequited."I sat there and told my friend how I felt," he wrote. "I wept as the words left my mouth. I grieved for them, knowing I could never take them back for myself. He patted my back. He said kind things. He did his best, but he wouldn't admit the same. He had to go back inside soon; it was late, and his girlfriend was waiting for him upstairs. He wouldn't tell the truth about his feelings for me for another 3 years. I felt like I'd only imagined reciprocity for years. Now, imagine being thrown from a cliff. No, I wasn't on a cliff. I was still in my car, telling myself it was gonna be fine and to take deep breaths. I took the breaths and carried on. I kept up a peculiar friendship with him because I couldn't imagine keeping up my life without him. I struggled to master myself and my emotions." "Born in the U.S.A." by Bruce Springsteen Fan Interpretation: A patriotic anthem celebrating American Meaning: A protest song about the mistreatment of Vietnam War veterans and the struggles of the working class.'I'm usually pretty easy with people, but once we were at the centre, I didn't know how to respond to what I was seeing,' he said during his Springsteen On Broadway residency. 'Talking about my own life to these guys seemed frivolous. There was homelessness and drug problems and post-traumatic stress – guys my age dealing with life-changing physical injuries'."The verses are just an accounting of events,' he said. 'The chorus is a declaration of your birthplace, and the right to all the pride and confusion and shame and grace that comes with it.' "The Weekend" by SZA Fan Interpretation: A confident anthem about being the 'side chick' and owning it. Real Meaning: A commentary on non-traditional relationship dynamics and emotional detachment."Time-sharing a man is real AF," SZA told Vulture. "If we're all being honest there's very few men that are just dating one woman. I think, low-key, the internet makes it so difficult [to be in relationships] because we're taking in so much information. There's always new, new, new, more, more, more. Having one person seems like a restriction, like a limitation. Everyone's used to being overstimulated.I feel like men kind of do this thing where they don't wanna tell anyone about [who they're with], because they don't want to lose the opportunity to potentially call you if they needed to. Not saying that they would, but they need the option. So in this song, I'm opting in. Like, I know you have a bunch of girls, probably. Maybe you're not being honest with me — I just know that you have mad girls — and I still don't care, because I didn't want to be your girlfriend anyway! I'm not internalizing the way that you're acting as a disrespect towards me, it doesn't make me any less because you're not my boyfriend. And like, you're not her boyfriend, and you're not her boyfriend. You're just out here wildin'." "Every Breath You Take" by The Police Fan Interpretation: A romantic love song. Real Meaning (Sting): A song about obsession, surveillance, and possessiveness. 'It's about jealousy and surveillance and ownership — not love," Sting said in 1983. "It's a nasty little song, really quite evil.'Sting, the lead singer of The Police, wrote the song in 1982 while suffering what he referred to as a "mental breakdown while his marriage was falling apart. The song's composition was a mixture of light and darkness that represented his life, and the mood swings he dealt with while trying to balance the band's professional success as well as his failed marriage. But that wasn't all. It also spoke to the difficult internal dynamics the band was dealing with. Due to creative differences, the band broke up in 1984. "Every Breath You Take" was featured on The Police's final studio album, Synchronicity. "Eat Your Young" by Hozier Fan Interpretation: A seductive track about lust. Real Meaning (Hozier): A commentary on late capitalism, exploitation, and sacrificing the next generation for greed."It's kind of an idea for a song that has been cooking on me, I guess," Hozier told Genius. "This idea of sacrificing the future of other people for the sake of short-term gain. This idea of where children become the ground for culture war for adults to use as pawns in culture wars, especially when it comes to armed robbery, another school shooting, and then another debate about gun rights, etc. It's something that's quite alien to me, coming from the place in the world that I am. I wanted the voice in the song to be that voice of power that shrugs off any responsibility to any sort of future that anybody has." Lastly, "Swimming Pools (Drank)" by Kendrick Lamar Fan Interpretation: A drinking anthem or party track. Real Meaning (Kendrick): A critique of alcohol abuse and peer pressure, especially within his family and Black communities."That's another record going back to the influence of the people around me and the household I grew up in," Kendrick told Complex. "Each track flows into skits that really breaks down the understanding so that song goes into another skit. I wanted to do something that felt good but had a meaning behind it at the same time. Really bringing that mainstream world to us, rather than a rapper with content along to the nation. I wanted to do something that's universal to everybody, but still true to myself. What better way to make something universal than to speak about drinking? I'm coming from a household where you had to make a decision—you were either a casual drinker or you were a drunk. That's what that record is really about: me experiencing that as a kid and making my own decisions."He touched on it a little more in an interview with Billboard: "Teenagers don't get it — we selfish. Go drink, go smoke, go get fucked up. Why did I do these things? Because I was brought up around it? It damn sure was in the household. I said, 'I know what happens to my family and certain friends when they get drunk and they smoke. They get out of their minds, they get violent. And that's in my blood.' I have little sips on special occasions, but getting all the way out of my mind may not be a good idea." The fun thing about art is that it can mean different things to different people. Despite what evoked these emotions from these celebrities, that doesn't make the way we interpret it, as fans, any less valid. That's the beauty of it!
