Strictly Come Dancing 'in talks' with Celebs Go Dating and MAFS expert
Strictly Come Dancing 'in talks' with Celebs Go Dating and MAFS expert Strictly Come Dancing bosses are said to be in talks with a relationship expert, known for appearing on Celebs Go Dating and MAFS UK Celebs Go Dating agents Dr Tara, Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson (Image: E4 ) Strictly Come Dancing executives are apparently keen to secure Celebs Go Dating and Married At First Sight UK guru Paul C Brunson for the next season of the BBC dance contest. Despite the show not returning until later in the year, speculation abounds as to who will be stepping onto the dance floor. Rumour has it that relationship consultant and television presenter Paul might be joining the lineup. The expert gained recognition among British viewers through his role on CGD and MAFS UK, and more recently, he appeared with Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden on Netflix's reality programme, Cheat: Unfinished Business. An insider revealed to The Sun the reasons why the showrunners are eager to enlist Paul for the competition: "Paul would be the ideal tonic to the dark clouds over Strictly as he's clean-cut, very intelligent and has no scandals to worry about." The source added: "They are now in discussion but he's met with producers a number of times." The Olympic champion's personality could act as an antidote to the negative atmosphere that has lately hung over Strictly. While there is a desire to have him onboard, discussions are still in the preliminary phase, reports the Mirror, which has contacted the BBC for comment. Strictly has faced a number of scandals, with one of the more notable issues emerging after the 2023 series where Amanda Abbington accused her professional dancing partner Giovanni Pernice of bullying. A series of bullying claims led Giovanni to temporarily retreat from public life amidst the controversy. However, after winning the Italian Strictly Come Dancing, he's now back in Britain engaging in various dancing ventures. Graziano Di Prima also found himself out of the show. The summer brought with it allegations that the Italian dancer had physically assaulted Zara, aged 28, an accusation he fervently rebuffs. Sir Mo Farah is also believed to be in talks about appearing on Strictly (Image: NurPhoto, NurPhoto via Getty Images ) He conceded that his "intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime." Most recently, Wynne Evans was dropped from the Strictly live tour due to his conduct. Article continues below Wynne gave an interview on This Morning, discussing the scandalous events during his time on Strictly and shared how the backlash severely impacted his mental well-being. "I was at my lowest ebb, I wanted to end my life. I would have if I hadn't been surrounded by people," he confessed to the presenters on the programme. Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

Earlier this week, the same publication claimed bosses want Sir Mo Farah on the show as he's a "genuine national treasure". His personality would provide the perfect tonic to the toxicity that's overshadowed Strictly. Bosses would love to sign him up but the talks are at a very early stage.' In recent times, Strictly Come Dancing dealt with numerous scandals. After 2023's series, Amanda Abbington accused professional dancer partner Giovanni Pernice of bullying. He later admitted that his "intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime." Most recently, Wynne Evans was axed from the Strictly live tour over his behaviour. Lorna Luxe, 42, reveals her first relationship before she met husband John, 63, was with a woman but she was 'so ashamed of being a lesbian' she hid the romance
Influencer Lorna Luxe , 42, has spilled all on the significant relationships in her life, revealing for the first time that her first major romance was with a woman. The star, real name Lorna Andrews, is the latest guest on We Need To Talk, the podcast from Paul C Brunson, during which she discusses her hugely successful social media career as well as her 15 year marriage to husband John, 63. But during a conversation about her romantic relationships, Lorna confessed that she was in a two year romance with a woman whilst at university, but nobody knew. Explaining how she 'became a woman as opposed to a girl' at uni after a tricky first year trying to be independent, Lorna said she was 'fighting a lot of conflicting thoughts around that time.' 'My first major relationship at university was with a woman,' Lorna told Paul. 'I was so ashamed of, you know, being a lesbian that I hid her from my friends and everybody for a couple of years. 'My flatmate never knew, I really cared for her and I kind of screwed it up because of being afraid to be who I want to be and she got sick of it in the end and she sacked me off, fair play to her, and I mean we're still friends now but I understand why she did that, I didn't at the time.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It was a real important thing to happen to me because it wasn't about being gay or straight or whatever you want to label it. It was about the fact that I was somebody that could connect with anyone. I didn't define myself even at that age and that set the ball rolling for how my relationships played out when I grew up.' Lorna would go on to have a relationship with 'a semi famous sportsman' whilst living in Brighton and working as cabin crew after university - another relationship which she says shaped her greatly. 'He was a professional sportsman with a public profile so it almost like gave me credibility, he gave me street cred,' she said. 'It was a vehicle for what I needed at the time and it was great in that sense but was I emotionally fulfilled? Not really.' 'I think what it made me realise was that I wasn't necessarily attracted to a man or a woman I was attracted to the person.' She added that of the romances in her life, her relationship with a woman and her marriage are the only two where she has 'felt that connection to the person.' 'One's been a man one's been a woman but I think the other people I was dating was just to try and tick a box or fill a gap or fill a void.' Lorna and John met when she was 25 and in the midst of her eight-year stint as a Virgin Atlantic air hostess, before marrying in NYC shortly after and going on to live together in Hove, East Sussex, and later Horsham and now Warwickshire. While John previously worked as a banker, following his stage three cancer diagnosis in 2023 and Lorna's continued success as an influencer, he gave up his job to focus on his health and helping his wife work. Last year, Lorna spoke to The Times about their relationship and how they divide their cash and work flow, saying: 'When I met him I was an air hostess on £12,000 a year. So there was definitely an imbalance of cash... 'But we just share everything, and as it's tipped over the other side, it's never been an issue. It got to the point where John going to work every day was costing us money, because we were having to turn down jobs and he couldn't take my photos... 'So we made an executive decision that he would leave the bank. It took him two years. He left in December, and then he got diagnosed with cancer in January.' In May 2024, Lorna revealed John's cancer had moved to his brain as well as come back in his adrenal gland. He recently had a month long stint in hospital, fighting a severe infection.
