Fever star Caitlin Clark leads All-Star Game fan voting, followed by Lynx's Napheesa Collier

Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark is the leading vote-getter in the first fan vote return for this July's WNBA All-Star Game. The league announced the early returns Friday ahead of the July 19 All-Star Game in Indianapolis. Clark, who made the All-Star Game as a rookie last season, leads all players with 515,993 votes. Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier is second with 484,758 votes. Advertisement The 10 All-Star Game starters will be announced after a weighted rank from the fan vote (50 percent), player vote (25 percent) and media vote (25 percent). The four guards and six players with the best score will be named starters. The game's two team captains will be the starters who receive the most fan votes. Three Fever players are in the top-10 of fan voting, with eight in the top-40, the most of any franchise. Clark, averaging career-highs of 19.9 and 8.7 assists per game this season, was the leading vote-getter last year. Voting continues to surge across the WNBA. In 2023, no player received more than 100,000 votes for the All-Star Game, and only eight players received more than 50,000 votes. This year, after the first return results, 39 players have already received more than 50,000 votes, with 19 players having already eclipsed the 100,000-mark. Clark received the most fan votes in 2024 (700,735), followed by Fever center Aliyah Boston (618,680), Aces forward A'ja Wilson (607,300), Liberty forward Breanna Stewart (424,135) and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (381,518). Fans can continue to vote through June 28. Once the starters are announced, the league's 13 head coaches will select the game's 12 reserves.
