Israel Receives Joint US-German Military Shipment

Israa Farhan Israel's Ministry of Defense has confirmed the arrival of new military cargo planes carrying defensive equipment from the United States and Germany, as part of ongoing support for the Israeli military during Operation Rising Lion. According to an official statement released on Friday and reported by The Jerusalem Post, 14 military transport aircraft have landed in Israel since the operation against Iran began last week. This is in addition to over 800 cargo flights that have arrived in the country since the war with Hamas erupted following the 7 October 2023 attacks. The latest shipment includes advanced equipment designed to strengthen Israel's defense systems. The Ministry stated that the delivery aims to ensure the continuity of military operations and to fully support the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in meeting strategic goals, whether in confronting Iranian threats or improving operational readiness and supply lines. These shipments are expected to continue in the coming weeks and are part of a broader international coordination effort involving the Directorate of Defense Procurement, Israeli procurement missions in the US and Germany, the IDF Planning and Force Build-Up Directorate, the Israeli Air Force, and other military bodies. In response, Iran has accused the US of direct complicity in what it describes as Israeli aggression against its territory. In a statement released by the official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Tehran condemned Washington's ongoing supply of military equipment to Israel, calling it open collusion in the attacks. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News 3 Killed in Shooting Attack in Thailand

Pro-Palestinian activists say they damaged planes on a UK air force base

The activists left the base without being detained, Palestine Action said. The group said in a statement that 'despite publicly condemning the Israeli government, Britain continues to send military cargo, fly spy planes over Gaza and refuel US/Israeli fighter jets.' It called the U.K. 'an active participant in the Gaza genocide and war crimes across the Middle East.' Britain's Ministry of Defense confirmed the incident, saying: 'We strongly condemn this vandalism of Royal Air Force assets.' Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the vandalism 'disgraceful' in a post on X. Advertisement The government said two planes were being checked for damage, and that the vandalism had not stopped any planned aircraft movements or operations. 'A full security review is underway at Brize Norton,' Starmer's office said. 'We are reviewing security across the whole defense estate.' Planes from Brize Norton, 70 miles northwest of London, regularly fly to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, Britain's main air base for operations in the Middle East. The U.K. has sent more Typhoon fighter jets and Voyager tankers to Cyprus since the Israel-Iran war started a week ago for what Starmer called 'contingency support.' Advertisement Iran has threatened to attack US, French and British bases in the region if those countries help Israel fend off Iranian strikes. Thames Valley Police said in a statement that it had 'received a report of people gaining access to RAF Brize Norton and causing criminal damage.' Officers were working with staff at the base and the Ministry of Defense Police to arrest the perpetrators, the force said.

Pro-Palestinian activists say they damaged planes on a UK air force base

LONDON -- British police are searching for suspects after pro-Palestinian activists claimed to have broken into a Royal Air Force Base and damaged two planes with red paint, officials said Friday. The group Palestine Action said two members entered RAF Brize Norton on Wednesday and used electric scooters to approach the Voyager jets, which are used for air-to-air refueling. The duo sprayed red paint into the planes' turbine engines with repurposed fire extinguishers and caused further damage with crowbars, according to the group, which released video footage appearing to show an individual approach a jet and spray paint into the engine. The activists left the base without being detained, Palestine Action said. Israeli jets target Tehran nuclear military sites, Iran barrage hits Israel

Shafaq News/ The Israeli military announced on Friday that its air force launched extensive overnight airstrikes targeting dozens of military facilities in and around the Iranian capital, Tehran. According to a statement, more than 60 fighter jets participated in the operation, dropping approximately 120 munitions on sites linked to Iran's defense and nuclear infrastructure. The Israeli army said the strikes focused on industrial facilities used for missile production, describing them as longstanding strategic hubs for Iran's Ministry of Defense. The targets included factories producing missile components and raw materials for rocket engines. The military also confirmed it struck the headquarters of SEPAND — Iran's Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research — established in 2011 by Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the scientist widely regarded as the architect of Iran's military nuclear program. In addition, another facility reportedly involved in the production of key components for Iran's nuclear weapons program was hit. — افيخاي ادرعي (@AvichayAdraee) June 20, 2025 Israel said its air defenses intercepted and downed four Iranian drones launched toward Israeli territory during the night. Israel Turns Its Hospitals into Human Shields for Military Infrastructure

DayofPal– Iran's recent ballistic missile strike on southern occupied Palestine has revealed that Israel is protecting its military infrastructure and dangerously placing them close to civilian facilities, particularly hospitals. Israeli officials and media outlets rushed to suggest that Soroka Medical Center was a direct target of the Iranian attack this morning. The hospital's director then announced the evacuation of some patients and urged the public to avoid the area. Meanwhile, the Southern District Police Chief stated that rescue teams were searching for a missing person inside the hospital, further feeding the impression of a targeted strike at the hospital. Yet, videos shared by Israeli settlers from within and around the hospital tell a different story. None of the footage captures a direct hit on the hospital itself. Instead, the recordings show limited structural damage caused by the shockwaves of a nearby explosion, not by an explosiob within the hospital compound. Iran's official news agency clarified that the actual target was a military facility adjacent to Soroka, housing thousands of Israeli soldiers, digital command systems, and advanced cyberwarfare units. This indicates the strike was aimed not at a healthcare institution, but at a strategically significant military site masquerading behind civilian infrastructure. Despite this, Israeli media outlets persisted in pushing the narrative that Soroka Hospital was the intended target, a claim swiftly contradicted by a military gag order prohibiting the publication of sensitive details about the location. This inconsistency highlights the ongoing attempt by Israeli authorities to obscure the military nature of the targeted site. Using civilian facilities as shields for military assets is a longstanding tactic of the Israeli occupation. Hospitals, residential neighborhoods, and vital infrastructure have been systematically militarized, with their civilian façade used as both a political shield and moral alibi. This hypocrisy becomes even more glaring when compared to Israel's conduct in Gaza, where hospitals are repeatedly bombed and medical teams, including those of the Red Crescent in Lebanon, are targeted. Meanwhile, Israel accuses Palestinian resistance groups of 'hiding' among civilians, conveniently ignoring its own habit of embedding critical military sites in densely populated urban areas. During Saturday's Iranian strike, the contradiction reached a crescendo. Missiles hit various targets in the heart of Israel, particularly in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. According to a Fox News correspondent, one missile struck the Kirya compound, home to the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the army General Staff headquarters, right in the center of Tel Aviv. This episode underscores a disturbing truth that Israel's key military and intelligence institutions, from the Ministry of Defense and military command centers to Mossad and Shin Bet headquarters, are not hidden away in isolated military zones, but deeply embedded within bustling civilian neighborhoods. These areas are surrounded by shopping malls, universities, homes, and public parks, turning any military escalation into a direct threat to the lives of Israeli civilians. So while Israel decries supposed attacks on its hospitals, it simultaneously places its most sensitive military assets beside, and within, those same hospitals. It's a dangerous game of strategic positioning, where civilian lives are leveraged as protective buffers for war infrastructure. Shortlink for this post:
