Miguel Tanfelix gets mixed emotions as 'Mga Batang Riles' nears end
Miguel Tanfelix can't help but get mixed emotions as "Mga Batang Riles" is coming to an end. In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Monday, Miguel said that he grew to love his character Kidlat in the series. "Sobrang minahal ko talaga 'yung character ni Kidlat eh. 'Yung mga challenges na kinakaharap at kinaharap niya sa buhay, talagang masakit sa puso eh. Talagang gusto mong damahin talaga bawat eksena," Miguel said. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness the return of Kidlat and his friends—Sig (Raheel Bhyria), Kulot (Kokoy De Santos), and Dagul (Anton Vinzon)—as the bantay-riles, working to maintain peace and order in their town while Matos (Bruce Roeland) remains at large. For Miguel, even though the series is nearing its end, it reignited his adrenaline and passion for performing action scenes. "Nag-enjoy ako ng sobra dito sa 'Mga Batang Riles.' At the same time, feeling ko nasa surface level pa lang ako ng genre na action kaya gusto ko pa palalimin," he said. Zephanie performs at 2025 World Expo in Japan
Zephanie has just unleashed her singing talent on the international stage! On Instagram, Sparkle shared some snaps of the Sparkle star performing at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan. In the photos, Zephanie was dressed in a Filipiniana and accompanied by a children's choir while singing on stage. "Zephanie brought Filipino pride to the global spotlight with a stunning performance at the Expo 2025 Osaka, representing the Philippines with heart and talent!" the caption read. The Expo 2025 opened on April 13 and will run until October 2025. Zephanie currently plays Mutya in "Mga Batang Riles." Jillian Ward, Raheel Bhyria report they have gotten closer on and off cam
Jillian Ward and Raheel Bhyriaa shared that their on and off-cam relationship has gotten closer as they work together in "Mga Batang Riles." In Lhar Santiago's report in "24 Oras" Friday, Jillian shared that she now understands and trusts Raheel more. "Kahit hindi siya naniniwala, mas may trust ako sa kaniya ngayon and parang mas open na rin po ako sa kaniya compared nung [Abot-Kamay na Pangarap] days namin," she said. Raheel also said that he's thankful Jillian joined the show because he was able to tell her things he could not in the past. "Nagpapasalamat ako nandito siya dahil marami rin akong naisabi na hindi ko maisabi rin before at mas naintindihan niya raw ako," he said without revealing what exactly he was able to tell Jillian this time around. Raheel also expressied his gratitude to fans who have been shipping their characters, Sig and Lady. "Nakakatuwa po lagi po akong kinikilig pag nakikita ko 'yung edits namin mag-isa, nanunood ako, kinikilig ako," he said. Jillian agreed, saying she would also scroll on social media and watch fan edits of their characters. The Sparkle stars added that they are happy whenever their taping schedules for the show coincide. "Walang halong biro, 'pag nakikita ko na may taping, mas na-l-look forward ko kasi nandun si Jill kasi na-i-inspire ako lalo magtrabaho 'pag nakikita ko na kasama siya," said Raheel. "Ako natutuwa po ako. Nasabi ko na rin naman sa kaniya 'to na pagka nagtataping ako, wala, parang dahil nandiyan siya, kumportable ako kasi siya talaga 'yung pinaka close ko po since [Abot-Kamay na Pangarap] din," said Jillian. Cristopher Diwata, aka 'What hafen Vella' guy, buys own car thanks to brand deals
Cristopher Diwata, the guy behind the viral "What hafen Vella" trend, has hit another milestone: finally purchasing his own car! On TikTok, his wife, Ronalyn Diwata, shared photos of their family posing with their big purchase. "Thank you sa mga [sumuporta] sa asawa ko dahil po sa inyo natupad niya unti-unti pangarap niya," Ronalyn wrote in the caption. Cristopher told GMA News Online that he got to afford the second-hand vehicle because of his many gigs in recent days, which he expressed deep gratitude for. "Sa mga brands po na nakakatrabaho ko po, maraming salamat po sa pagtitiwala. At sa mga supporters ko po maraming salamat po sa mga good comment sa pagbili ko po ng kotse po para mas mapadali po ang mga lakad ko po," he said. He acknowledged concerns from some followers about the brand of the car he chose but emphasized how far he's come and how unexpected this moment is for him. "Sa mga concern po na dahil po sa brand ng unit na sirain daw po..
