Everyone Stylish Is Wearing These Abercrombie Shorts – And They're In Stock
Now that outdoor temperatures have risen considerably, you may find yourself facing a sartorial dilemma: how to choose an outfit that's both incredibly chic and comfortable enough to withstand the heat. While you may opt for a pair of linen trousers or an airy midi skirt in a bid to keep cool and comfortable, there is one alternative that nails the balance between style and practicality with unfussy polish, and that is a pair of Bermuda shorts. It shouldn't come as a surprise that knee-length Bermuda shorts have begun to dominate the fashion pack, given their endorsement on the spring runways of Miu Miu and Dries Van Noten, not to mention the rise and rise of denim jorts. Naturally, the trend has filtered down to the high street, with brands like Massimo Dutti and COS offering their own takes on the silhouette. Our favourite iteration so far? The Abercrombie & Fitch Mid Rise Bermuda Short, crafted from a mid-weight fabric fit for the summer months. And the fashion crowd has fallen for them - hard. 1. Mid Rise Bermuda Short - Black Few Bermuda shorts look as chic as this tailored pair - classic black, no less. Style them with a matching black leather belt featuring a gold buckle for a bold statement, or opt for silver hardware for a more subtle touch that complements any outfit. Typically popular in clean-cut cottons, washed blue denim and leather, the Abercrombie shorts have taken a slightly more tailored approach - made from suiting-style fabric that has the feel of formal trousers, while maintaining a relaxed wearable silhouette. Available in two colours: a sleek black (which has unsurprisingly been selling out at record speed) and ash, a stone, light grey-beige hue that lends itself to a plethora of capsule wardrobe staples, including longline waistcoats and striped shirts. There's great news for anyone who prefers to stick to linen - there's a lightweight, soft version available to shop, too. They're the same style, same cut and same length as the originals, but this version comes in a crisp white shade that's perfect for the beach (paired with a matching linen shirt) or for evenings out with an Aperol in hand. For a nighttime look, opt for whimsical lace blouses or flirty asymmetrical strapless tops. As for footwear? Footbed sandals like Birkenstocks are ideal for daytime, while mule kitten heels will truly elevate the outfit once the sun goes down. 2. Mid Rise Linen-Blend Bermuda Short - White Alternatively, opt for the linen version in a crisp, cool white - perfect for beach holidays where heavy materials just won't do and beach-friendly outfit formulas are a must. Pair it with linen shirts for an effortlessly cool and comfortable look on hot days. Whichever version you choose, shop them quick before they sell out. We suspect they'll fly off the virtual shelves, as sizes are already dwindling in all colours, in both linen and non-linen. Shop the rest below. 3. Mid Rise Bermuda Short - Ash For a lighter take on the tailored favourite, opt for the Bermuda shorts in ash - perfect when paired with black tops featuring casual-cool cap sleeves or cotton boxy tees for a laid-back yet polished look. 4. Mid Rise Linen-Blend Bermuda Short - Black Shop the black linen shorts if you're looking for a cropped linen staple that looks as good as it feels - especially when your commute includes a stifling tube journey. Lightweight and breathable, they'll keep you comfortable all day long. Image credit: @marthawr and @saroop.k.s and @leahwashyp Emma Richardson is a fashion commerce writer for Grazia. Sales rise for Zara owner Inditex but pace of growth slows ahead of summer
The owner of Zara has reported rising sales in recent weeks but a slowdown in the pace of growth as the fashion giant staves off the impact of economic uncertainty on global consumer confidence. Inditex, which is Europe's largest fashion retailer, said store and online sales between May 1 and June 9 rose 6% compared with the same period last year. Spring and summer collections were being received well by shoppers, it said. It nonetheless reflected slower sales growth than the same time last year – when sales leapt 12% higher ahead of the peak summer months. Sales over its latest quarter, between February and April, rose to 8.3 billion euros (£7 billion). This was 4.2% higher than the same period a year ago, at constant currency rates, but slightly fell short of analysts' expectations for the quarter. Spain-based Inditex, which also owns the Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, and Stradivarius brands, said the 'optimisation' of its stores was ongoing in a bid to improve productivity. At the end of the latest quarter, it operated 5,562 shops around the world – more than 100 fewer than the 5,698 it had last year. Concerns that consumer confidence in global markets, particularly the US, has been impacted by economic and trade uncertainty have risen in recent months. US President Donald Trump's tariff plans led some economists to cut the outlook for global growth. Meanwhile, power outages in Spain and Portugal – key markets for Inditex – caused major disruption, bringing much of the countries' systems to a standstill for a short period. Cat Deeley just wore the perfect butter yellow mini dress for summer on This Morning - and we've found it on the high street
Cat Deeley has worn this summer's biggest colour trend and the outfit is available for fans to snap up online. The TV presenter, 48, wore the pastel yellow fashion hit on Monday's instalment of This Morning which she hosted alongside co-star Ben Shephard, 50. She donned River Island's Embellished Mini Dress which is priced at £75 and featured rhinestone details and a bow. The sleek, sleeveless design has a round neckline and a tailored skirt, while the top adds layers and makes the piece seem more designer label than high street. Cat styled the butter yellow mini dress with strappy, gold heels and wore her long blonde hair down over her shoulders. The soft shade of yellow has taken centre stage at the Spring/Summer 2025 trends. Since Cat wore the outfit, fans have been eagerly purchasing it from River Island and it is available in a range of sizes, as well in as black or white. Butter yellow is a fresh and playful colour choice and lends itself to be styled in a variety of ways. £75 Shop Monday isn't the first time Cat lent into the yellow palette and on Thursday, May 15, the presenter wore a pastel linen blend blazer and trousers from Massimo Dutti. She paired the smart co-ord with a Tokoni Camisole in an old rose shade. While on May 12, Cat wore a slightly brighter shade of yellow in an I rregular Button Knit Dress from Zara. The presenter wore the River Island piece during an interview with former prison officer Ryan Goodenough who opened up about how he was left in a coma for three weeks after being battered by a group of children - but made it clear that he doesn't blame them. Linen blend blazer £169 Shop IRREGULAR BUTTON KNIT DRESS £29.99 Shop Ryan who was just 21 at the time and was left with life-changing injuries, appeared on the IT V show on Monday alongside former inmate and journalist Raphael Rowe before to talk about their opinion on US-style superman prisons being brought into the UK. The officer - who confessed that he has always wanted to work with children - had trained nine weeks before starting his job at the youth correctional facility in Milton Keynes, which was a secured training centre that focused on therapy and rehabilitation. He was working 7am to 10pm when he got moved to a different unit during his shift. He explained that the vibe felt 'heightened', and when he took them outside to the astro turf, one of the boys was trying to climb the fence. Ryan explained that he tried to verbally bring him down, then guided him off the fence, when suddenly he had five boys 'laying into' him, but managed to keep on his feet. Host Ben Shephard pointed out: 'They were children that attacked you physically and that attack led you going to hospital and then ending up in a coma.' Ryan said: 'Yeah they still are children. So I still work with children. When I went to hospital, a coma wasn't on my mind. 'I thought I had concussion and I started to bleed out my nose and started to vomit blood. 'I got taken through just to be checked and I got put on my back, laid down, looked up, seen the bright lights, kind of like what I'm looking at now, I look left, look right and suddenly I just fell asleep. 'And I woke up three weeks later.'

Inditex restructures leadership with three new appointments
Spanish fashion group Inditex, chaired by Marta Ortega, is reorganizing its executive leadership. Following the departure of key figures including Jesús Echevarría, Carlos Crespo and Pablo del Bado, the company announced three new appointments on Friday in a filing with the Spanish securities regulator CNMV. The group has appointed Fernando de Bunes Ibarra, previously head of risk management, as its new sustainability director. He replaces Javier Losada, one of the company's long-standing leaders. Losada joined Inditex in 1993 and has served as sustainability director since 2019. He was named to the executive committee in 2022 following the departure of then-chief operating and digital transformation officer Carlos Crespo. Losada will leave the company after a transitional period. Inditex reinforced its financial leadership by appointing Ignacio Fernández Fernández as corporate general manager, overseeing finance, sustainability, logistics, transportation, and infrastructure. The group also named Andrés Sánchez Iglesias as chief financial officer, with both executives set to join the company's executive committee. Fernández previously served as general finance director, while Sánchez led the tax division. These changes form part of a broader restructuring strategy focused on generational renewal, led by current CEO Óscar García Maceiras. Earlier this year, Inditex also named Gorka García-Tapia Yturriaga as head of investor relations, succeeding Marcos López García. The Galician textile group currentlyand Massimo Dutti. According to its latest financial results, Inditex ended fiscal 2024 with a 7.5% increase in sales compared to the previous year, reaching revenue of €38.632 billion.
