The Waterfront – Season 1 Episode 6 'Hunting Season' Recap & Review

Hunting Season Episode 6 of The Waterfront starts with horrific flashes to the past for Bree. She soon awakens, with Cane next to her. She's now sober but clearing heroin out of her system isn't exactly smooth sailing. However, Bree has serious guilt over how this has gone down with Marcus. Cane reminds her that Marcus is a former addict and the allure of doing heroin was just too much for him to turn away from. It's not her fault he's dead. Cane believes they need to cover their tracks, which involves destroying all the evidence that Marcus has gained. It's here where Bree points out a horrifying moment from the past about her grandfather's death that's shaped her whole life. The man didn't die peacefully in his sleep after all. He was tortured while Bree was hiding inside the closet, watching the whole thing play out in horror. This entire incident explains why she has substance abuse issues and what led her down this path. Belle made her promise not to say anything and she didn't. With the pair busy, Harlan finds Grady waiting in his office. He's brought over some payroll (and a little extra to sweeten the deal) and wants to celebrate their little win with the DEA. However, Grady also has an emergency shipment he wants to fly out asap. Harlan is having none of it and doesn't want to mess with their business. Grady is not letting this one go and reminds him who's in charge here. With Harlan refusing to play ball, and needing to prove his point, Grady shows to see Diller and they hang together. He facetimes with Harlan and shows they're off hunting together, which obviously is his way of keeping Harlan in check. While Harlan races off to get Diller back, he eventually concedes and agrees to go hunting with the pair. Elsewhere, Belle signs for some documents from the bank, which only confirms they're in even more trouble than she initially thought. It seems Wes is trying to strongarm them and Belle meets with him to discuss it further. However, the ship has sailed and they have limited time to pay up. Back hunting, things take a horrible turn when Grady, in his desire to try and hunt some birds, ends up shooting Diller. Whether an accident or a warning, news of Diller's shooting reaches the whole family. Cane rings Jenna that night, just to talk, despite initially saying they weren't going to. Their conversation stirs up old feelings, which is only compounded further by his earlier chat with Bree, and he heads over to see her. No more 'mr good guy'; the pair wind up having sex. At the same time, Belle shows up to see Harlan, showing off the documents from the bank that mean bad news for their business. Even worse, Belle immediately susses that Bree has been using and it just makes Cane feel worse that he's caught in the middle of this. He apologizes for how everything has gone down, and the pair share a sweet moment together. When Grady shows up at the hospital, everything kicks off again. Grady speaks to Belle about the shooting, claiming that he didn't intentionally shoot him but subconsciously? Well, he's not 100% sure. Belle smacks the guy in the face, and as his goons grab her, Shawn – of all people – shows up and saves her before security arrive. Shawn speaks to Belle privately after, wanting to know what she's mixed up in. Naturally, she doesn't tell him but that's not going to stop his questions. Meanwhile, Harlan looks over the documents in his office that night. Unfortunately, after the altercation with Grady at the hospital, he shows up with his men and strong-arms Harlan into submission. To prove his point, he grabs a couple of buckets full of Portuguese man o' war, and place them on his bare chest. Harlan's screams ring out across the warehouse. The Episode Review Grady shows his true colours here, as the nice guy facade wears off and he shows just how vicious he can be. The torture with the jellyfish is pretty sadistic, and it's clear that the hunting trip shooting 'accident' was Grady's way of sending a message to Harlan. Cane and Bree patching up their differences though is a nice touch and one of the highlights of the episode for sure, while Cane predictably succumbs to temptation and sleeps with Jenna. Whether this is going to blow up when Peyton returns though is anyone's guess, but it's clear that this situation is far from over. With a couple of episodes left, will Harlan and Cane manage to save the business before it's too late? Previous Episode Next Episode Expect A Full Season Write-Up When This Season Concludes!

'Gotta be the drugs, Bro' – Marcus Jordan sparks frenzy with mystery woman sighting in Miami amid trial delay

Marcus Jordan sparks frenzy with mystery woman sighting in Miami amid trial delay (Image Credit: Getty Images) While everyone else in the felony investigation is keeping a low profile, Marcus Jordan appears to be doing just the opposite. The son of NBA icon Michael Jordan hit the headlines once again over the weekend. Well, it's not for any development in the courtroom, but for kissing mysterious women. That escalated pretty fast! However, if that wasn't enough to create a buzz, he is also clubbing in Miami while awaiting his next court appearance for serious drug charges. His recent public outings were complete PDA, beach selfies, and clubbing. Meanwhile, these are giving fans and critics both something to raise an eyebrow about. Is Marcus spiraling out of control, or simply living his life a little too much on the drug? Marcus Jordan's public PDA made fans question his behavior To put the backlash into perspective, you have to go back to February 4, 2025. But before that, let's have a look at what the public had to say about his canoodling pictures, as reported by TMZ. 'Gotta be the drugs Bro.' One user commented. 'He in his Coke era doing anything?' another user said. 'What are they eating each other's faces?' another said. 'Curious, nu Marcus "do" anything that's self-preservation related?' another comment reads. 'He loves them snow bunnies and wonder why he is always cracked out,' another said. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Top 25 Most Beautiful Women In The World Articles Vally Undo 'That boy is living exactly how a billionaire son should,' another comment says. Jordan's arrest in Orange County, Florida, happened when his Lamborghini became stranded on train tracks. Oh boy! It was a scene that looked like it was out of a movie, without the glitz. He was charged with DUI, resisting arrest without force, and felony possession of ketamine, which police first thought was cocaine. The tests later revealed it was ketamine, a Schedule III controlled substance. Flash-forward to June, that's where his attorneys petitioned to postpone the trial, initially scheduled for June 23. The court granted the request, pushing proceedings to September 2025 to enable time for plea negotiations. Meanwhile, Jordan reported to fans on Instagram during May that he was "40 days sober and counting." That makes his flashy Miami weekend even more confusing. From courtroom to club, and now Miami PDA tour Then arrived the TMZ pics: Marcus kissing model Ashley Stevenson on the beach. Her fans immediately pointed out how much she resembled his former flame, Larsa Pippen. This just added fuel to the drama. Recall that Marcus and Ashley were seen together in France last year but denied any romance, until now. And that wasn't the only beachside encounter. Just the day before that, Marcus was spotted with another unidentified female, once again in full PDA mode. Two days, two females, and one very confused fanbase. Whereas tabloids were having the time of their lives with the news, fans weren't laughing. Most labeled his actions "reckless," given his continued legal battle and public declarations of sobriety. Others were quick to connect the actions with his very public breakup with Larsa Pippen in 2024, which took an apparent hard emotional toll. Even Larsa herself has spoken about the relationship being a "rollercoaster," stating her children urged her to end it. Meanwhile, Real Housewives star Marysol Patton recently said Marcus appeared to be "headed down a bad path" after the breakup. There's no denying Marcus is struggling to balance public image with personal identity. As the son of basketball royalty, scrutiny follows him everywhere. His arrest footage even captured him saying, 'I'm Marcus Jordan. I'm Michael Jordan's son. I'm not doing anything wrong.' Larsa Pippen stuns in bikini post as ex Marcus Jordan sparks fresh dating buzz in Miami with multiple women

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan. Image via:|Larsa Pippen is clearly living her best life, unfazed by her ex-boyfriend Marcus Jordan's latest beachside flings. While photos of Jordan cozying up with two different women in Miami over the weekend circulated online, Pippen posted a confident bikini snap to her Instagram. Certainly, Larsa is not losing sleep over it. Her timely post came just hours after Marcus was seen making out on back-to-back days with two women, one of whom even resembled Larsa. Larsa Pippen posts stunning bikini shots after her ex, Marcus Jordan, made waves in Miami In a photo shared on Monday, Larsa Pippen lounged in a white bikini, soaking up the sun with a caption that read simply, 'Summer games.' She wore dark sunglasses and showed no sign of concern amid the buzz around Marcus Jordan's very public makeout sessions in South Florida. The former couple split in early 2024 after an on-again, off-again relationship that often made headlines. According to TMZ, Marcus was first spotted on Saturday getting close to a mystery woman on Miami Beach. The next day, he returned with a different woman and was again seen kissing and holding her in the ocean. The public displays may have caught attention, but Larsa appeared to move on. Her recent appearance on the Season 7 premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami gave fans more insight into why she ended things for good. 'You know what's really crazy? When I was dating Marcus, my kids were like, 'Stop getting back together and breaking up and just get off the ride,'' she told her mom during a heartfelt conversation. The 50-year-old reality star admitted she felt embarrassed and emotional about the relationship's rocky nature. 'I don't want to, like, have to address it. It's so embarrassing,' she added through tears. The relationship stirred controversy from the beginning due to the history between the Pippen and Jordan families. Larsa was married to NBA legend Scottie Pippen, while Marcus is the son of Michael Jordan, Scottie's former Chicago Bulls teammate turned rival. 'I fought everyone to be with [Marcus] and then it was not a good situation for me and my family,' Larsa said during the episode. 'So, I had to remove myself from it. ' Also Read: Tyrese Haliburton's girlfriend Jade Jones turns heads with bold Indiana Pacers tribute during tense NBA Finals Game 5 against OKC Thunder Larsa is now dating 31-year-old basketball player Jeff Coby. The age difference hasn't gone unnoticed, but Coby, at 6-foot-8 and 19 years her junior, fits Larsa's familiar type. Now it appears that the former couple are going their separate ways, while Marcus is enjoying his bachelor life, Larsa is committing to her new relationship with Coby.

Am I ready for Turkey teeth?

My parents both had false teeth. My mother had all her teeth taken out one winter afternoon. I can remember her huddled by the electric fire with a small bowl of blood beside her, mourning their loss. It was a loss not just of teeth but of youth. She can't have been much over 40. Because of her I feel rather proud of the fact that I've managed to hang on to mine. I tell this to my dentist, Marcus. He's not impressed. I should have guessed by my stint watching the video in the waiting room of a blonde whitening her teeth and smiling. Just hanging on to them isn't quite good enough. I haven't had mine straightened, realigned or veneered. I haven't had 'a smile make-over'. Actually, I have rather large teeth. I'd quite like them reduced, like they reduce breasts – but I don't mention this to Marcus. He might take me at my word. He's already warning me about what he calls 'Turkey teeth'. Turkey teeth? Welcome to the world of dental tourism. Apparently, lots of people (celebrities, the rich, the desperate?) go to Turkey where dentistry is cheaper and where there are smile design dentists. Marcus describes having the bottom of your teeth shaved off then new porcelain pieces tacked on to the stubs. That's the least of it. When I Google, I find that for £5,900 you can have 'full mouth' treatment (both rows of teeth plus four implants and crowns), including flights and five days in a hotel. Such a holiday! Marcus says that the term 'Turkey teeth' is slang for botched dental treatment and that it's one thing for your treatment to go wrong when your dentist is just round the corner but quite another if it involves a flight back to Turkey. Which isn't to say that there aren't some exceedingly successful Turkey teeth. I can't remember when I gave up trying to find an NHS dentist and went private. I realise today, at my regular six-month appointment, that I must be a very boring patient. I haven't had a filling or a tooth out for at least five years. My teeth do look rather yellow but I'm so old nobody suggests whitening and at home we're too mean to buy the expensive toothpaste. A few days after my appointment I meet a friend just back from a holiday in Istanbul. She knows about Turkey teeth. She tells me that Turkey's proud of its medical accomplishments The waiting room at the dentist's is large enough to host a baby grand piano and I suggest this to Marcus, but I can see it doesn't appeal. The room has a couple of sofas, the video about smiling and snoring (they can deal with that too), a mini palm tree and magazines. I'm extremely pleased to see that magazines are back. During lockdown, this waiting room was so bleak I actually cried. I'm a little disappointed that the magazines are such traditional dentist-type magazines – National Geographic, Scottish Field, Good Housekeeping. I find myself yearning for the Sun, but settle for penguins in the Geographics. I can't help thinking of Elizabeth Bishop's wonderful 'In the Waiting Room' poem told as if by a child who, while reading the National Geographic (February 1918), hears an 'oh of pain' from her aunt in the surgery and suddenly discovers she's part of the human race, 'an Elizabeth', 'one of them'. There are three surgeries in this dental practice and I reason either the surgeries must be soundproofed or, hopefully, that all three dentists are so brilliant that there's never an 'oh' of pain. Actually, I do remember having a tooth out and afterwards suffering from what they call a dry socket – which was more a howl than an oh of pain. But that was then. This afternoon is just a check-up preceded by a session with the hygienist. Betty is new. She's accompanied by a nurse who I saw in the hall cleverly watching her computer and iPhone simultaneously. The previous hygienist used handheld scrapers and prodders and the like. Betty uses ultrasonic. It's noisy and wet and I protest. 'It's the modern way,' says Betty. Mopping my face I try and suggest that 'modern' doesn't necessarily mean 'better'. Smiling my yellow tooth smile, I pay Max at the desk, buy a packet of interdental brushes, book an appointment for six months' time and – £160 lighter but oh so clean and bright – make my shining way home, very glad I don't have to go to Turkey this year. At least not for my teeth. A few days after my appointment I meet a friend just back from a holiday in Istanbul. She knows about Turkey teeth. She tells me that Turkey's proud of its medical accomplishments, cornering the market on self-enhancement. 'It's not just teeth,' she says, 'It's hair implants. Bottoms.' I decide not to pursue the subject.
