That is what Lyons told me happened during Martha's Vineyard has six different police departments, and doesn't have one police chief. The county sheriff Robert Ogden told me that he didn't have any prior knowledge of the recent operation. I reached out to Lyons after the interview and was told that some police departments on the Vineyard 'cooperate, a few don't.' When investigators tried to pinpoint the source, it was 'tracked to a Dominican drug dealer that had been previously deported from my office,' he said. 'Night after night after night, Lawrence PD, Lowell PD, Methuen, Boston, have [custody of] these fentanyl dealers, three or four times,' Lyons contends, and many of them have reentered the country after deportation. A better system would allow some migrants to apply for asylum from their home country rather than making the dangerous trek to the US, then waiting years in immigration court. But until reform comes, Lyons is sticking to the law. He gave an example from his time as a police officer in Florida: Stopping a dad on the way to work with a busted taillight only to find he also had a warrant on him for being delinquent on child support payments. While Oregon is seen as a strong contender to land Lyons, based on their track record of developing QBs, the offensive system, and his relationship with offensive coordinator Will Stein, BYU is a huge threat here. Several reports show that the Cougars have offered a massive NIL deal for Lyons. Ultimately, it's likely going to come down to which matters more for Lyons: a huge lump sum of money or the opportunity to play for and be developed by the Ducks. We will find out in a matter of days, but this one appears to be trending toward BYU at the moment. A man accused of gunning down Lyons crime clan lieutenants Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons in a Spanish bar appeared in court over the killings today. Michael Riley appeared via video link at Westminster Magistrates' Court following the deaths of the underworld figures, who were shot dead following the Champions League final in May. He appeared via videolink from HMP Wandsworth, today, Thursday, June 19, 2025, speaking to confirm his name and date of birth during a brief hearing, the BBC reports.
