Lindsay Lohan reveals biggest life lessons after growing ‘older and wiser'
Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Lindsay Lohan is learning to 'take moments for herself to relax'. The 38-year-old star is enjoying her career revival and family life, particularly as 'everything was just moving so quick' during her rise to fame as a child star. She told E! News: 'I feel great, I'm really happy, I love what I'm doing. I feel like when I was younger, everything was just moving so quick. 'Now it's nice that I'm older and wiser, and I know how to take moments for myself to relax. 'I like to give me work my all, but then when I'm with my son I wanna give him my all, or my husband, I wanna give him my all. 'I like to have all those parts of my life working together.' The 'Freakier Friday' actress - who has two-year-old son Luai with her husband Bader Shammas - also opened up on her favourite way to relax during her downtime in the evenings. She said: 'I think a massage is nice. the other night I was like, to my husband, 'We're getting couple massages, it's not up for debate, it's just happening.' '[And] cuddling with my son before he sleeps, that actually relaxes me a lot, just holding him. I just wanna savour these moments.' Lindsay is still keeping busy and enjoying what has been dubbed by some as the 'Lohanaissance', and she has some big career goals still in mind. She explained: 'Eventually, at some point, I really, really do wanna direct. It's definitely something on my bucket list. 'I've grown up on sets and I've learned so much from the directors and people that I've worked with. I don't know when, but at some point!' However, last month Lindasy pointed out she will only accept certain projects that 'work around' her family life. She told Entertainment Weekly: 'Everything I do is [about] what's going to work for my family. 'If something works around that, it's meant to happen. If it doesn't work around that, it's a no-go.'

Kristin Cavallari and Lindsay Lohan's shock confrontation revealed after The Hills icon bedded co-star
Kristin Cavallari reveals her relationship with Lindsay Lohan, months after divulging that the actress walked in on her and Talan Torriero in bed together. The reality star, 38, had previously said that it took place when they were teenagers and that Lindsay's reaction after was to hurl plates. The mom of three clarified that her and Talan were not intimate and were 'simply sleeping next to each other,' and that she has seen Lindsay, 38, after the incident and 'never had an issue,' she told Us Weekly. 'I hadn't seen her in years, but we saw each other a few times after that incident and never had an issue,' she revealed. Kristin revealed the story about her and Talan in a wild throwback story during the Let's Be Honest podcast. Kristin Cavallari reveals her relationship with Lindsay Lohan, months after divulging that the actress walked in on her and Talan Torriero in bed together The star said that Lindsay allegedly had a dramatic reaction to her and Talan sharing a bed during their teenage years. 'We go up to L.A. to stay with Talan and we're all sleeping. I'm sleeping in bed with Talan. We did not hook up this night,' Cavallari recounted, per US Weekly. She continued, '[Lindsay] comes in, sees that I'm in bed with Talan — nothing has happened — [but] she sees that there's a girl in bed with Talan and she freaks the f— out.' Cavallari claimed that 'obviously something happened' between Lohan and Torriero. Cavallari continued, per the outlet: 'She sees that I'm in bed [and] she goes upstairs, her and her girlfriends, [and] into the kitchen. She's taking glasses out and throwing them!' Torriero chimed in, saying Lohan wasn't hurling drinking glasses—but plates. 'He was trying to calm her down, and you guys, we're in high school still,' Cavallari added. 'We're 18, like, 'What the f— is going on with Hollywood? Like, Hollywood is crazy."' Lauren Alexandria Hooser (Alex H) recalled the chaos, adding, 'What woke us up … you just heard, like, s— going on, like, bashing and screaming.' Kristin also told the outlet that she has thought about doing a facelift in 10-15 years. 'To me that makes more sense than going the Botox and filler route, but we'll see. The recovery scares me. Also my mom hasn't done anything and looks great, so if I can age like her, then I'll be happy.' Adding: 'I don't plan on being in the public eye in 15 years, so hopefully I don't feel the pressure to age a certain way.'

Lindsay Lohan's husband Bader Shammas makes rare comment about private romance
Lindsay Lohan 's husband Bader Shammas shared a rare photo of the couple in an Instagram story post on Wednesday, days after she denied having plastic surgery to account for her youthful new look. Shammas, 38, and Lohan, 38, recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary after tying the knot in April 2022. The financier shared a photo of the happy couple in Monte Carlo, Monaco on Wednesday, along with a heartfelt caption. 'My life. And what a blessing you are,' Shammas said of Lohan, as the happy couple both smiled for the snap. Lohan shared it to her own Instagram story for her 15.6 million followers, which showed her looking quite youthful as well. The actress was donning black oversized sunglasses, massive diamond studded earrings and a black spaghetti strap top. She also donned a cross necklace and a diamond-studded necklace as well for the afternoon outing. Shammas donned a black t-shirt and black sunglasses for the outing with his wife, which may have been an anniversary trip. Lohan is no stranger to high-profile romances, going back to the early 2000s with Wilmer Valderrama, Hard Rock Cafe heir Harry Morton and Samantha Ronson. She started dating Shammas, a financier for Credit Suisse, in 2019, though their relationship was largely off-the-radar until they announced their engagement in November 2021. 'My love. My life. My family. My future,' she shared on Instagram at the time, along with snaps of the happy couple as she showed off her engagement ring. The actress' reps confirmed that the couple had been dating for three years, adding she was, 'engaged and happy.' The couple didn't publicly confirm the nuptials until July 2022, with Lohan gushing, 'I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.' She added: 'I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. every woman should feel like this everyday.' While Lohan didn't confirm a wedding date at the time, the actress took to her Instagram story on April 3, 2025, to celebrate the couple's third anniversary. She shared a snap of her husband and their son Luai, who they welcomed in July 2023 in Dubai. 'Happy Anniversary to my one and only. My forever and ever. I love you,' she captioned the anniversary snap. Lohan gushed over her husband in a November 2022 interview with Cosmopolitan, stating, 'Well, I have an amazing husband, who's a very calm person. Just the best. And my family.' 'And I feel like I have a small group of good friends who are just really good people. That's the only support that I really need: friends, family and loved ones,' she added. Later that month on The Tonight Show, she said of her marriage, 'It's great. It's amazing I met my person. You never know if you're going to find that in life and he's an amazing guy, man. I love him and we're a great team.' 'You just get to share everything with someone. And it is so special. Everything becomes that much more important, I feel like,' Lindsay said. More recently, back in November 2024, Lohan opened up about starting new holiday traditions with her new family. 'We have our son now, so we're going to have new traditions,' she said about her son Luai. 'So maybe we'll have something that's different that he ends up liking that we create for him,' she added. Lohan will return to one of her more iconic roles in the highly-anticipated sequel Freakier Friday alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, arriving August 8. She also recently starred in Irish Wish and Our Little Secret as well.

Lindsay Lohan shares the simple morning routine that keeps her motivated and productive: 'It's all about balance'
Lindsay Lohan credits her ability to juggle her hectic work schedule as an actress and her responsibilities as a mom to her consistent, yet simple, morning routine. Lohan, who's promoting her "Freakier Friday" sequel, starts off each day like many other people — with mindfulness, a meal and a workout. "I love having a routine, and I like schedules," she said in a May 27 interview with Elle. "So, my morning routine: Waking up, writing in my journal, sipping my green tea, breakfast with my son. And then Pilates, making sure I go." A decade ago, Lohan moved to Dubai for a reset. There, she met her husband, Bader Shammas, and in 2023, had her son, Luai. Around that time, she'd just ended a long break from acting. Though she's constantly back and forth from her home overseas to New York and Los Angeles, she tries to keep the same routine. "It's hard in L.A. Even taking my son to the park in L.A., I get stressed," said Lohan, 38. "It's all about balance and, as I said, routine. Especially when you have a kid, routine is the most important thing. And whatever their routine is, I've got to live by that." Her commitment to self-care and having a consistent morning regimen, she added, came from a lesson from her co-star and work mom, Jamie Lee Curtis, who taught her "to always take care of yourself first. Because without that, how can you do everything for everyone else?" Experts like bestselling author and personal growth expert Mel Robbins tend to agree with Curtis' advice. Robbins learned the lesson firsthand unintentionally after not paying attention to her own mental health early in parenthood. That seemed to lead to increased stress and anxiety in her child. The "single best thing" parents can do is to get ahead of those issues early, she said on a May 6 episode of "The Oprah Podcast." Starting your day with mindfulness, physical activity or time with your kids — as opposed to checking your emails or calendar — can boost your happiness and fulfillment, experts say. Journaling every morning, as Lohan does, can have a real impact: Just 15 minutes a day can help you clarify your thoughts and feelings, improve your problem solving skills and even help you recover from trauma, bestselling authors Deepak Chopra and Kabir Sehgal wrote for CNBC Make It in July 2019. Putting pen to paper at least three to five days a week could significantly improve your physical and mental health, they said. They recommended reflecting on topics like advice you'd give your younger self, or 10 things you wish other people knew about you. "If you're new to journaling, the easiest way to begin is to find a time and place where you won't be disturbed, and just start writing," they wrote. Dedicating a portion of your morning to having fun is important too, says psychologist Laura Pendergrass, who advises Fortune 500 companies. "Self-care in the form of fun is just as important as anything else we do to take care of ourselves," she said in 2022. "We recognize the importance of recess for kids and build it into their school time, but we forget the importance of play as adults. It's up to us to create our own enrichment opportunities to do something fun or creative and inject color into what could otherwise be a gray day."
