King: Jordan will not tolerate any party attempting to tamper with its security
His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a meeting with political and media figures on Sunday, affirmed that Jordan will not tolerate any party attempting to meddle in its security, stability, or the safety of its citizens, stressing that the Kingdom will not be a battleground for any conflict. During the meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, His Majesty expressed appreciation for the role of Jordanian elites in clarifying the country's position internally and externally, as well as strengthening national unity. The King highlighted the dangerous consequences of 'Israel's' aggression against Iran, noting Jordan's diplomatic efforts regionally and internationally to achieve comprehensive calm in the region and restore security and stability, as well as its endeavours to coordinate with active partners to achieve peace, on the basis of the two-state solution. The meeting also covered His Majesty's recent working visit to Europe, which focused on gaining international support for the legitimate rights of Palestinians, the need for an immediate end to the war on Gaza, the flow of humanitarian aid to all areas of the Strip, and an end to escalations in the West Bank and Jerusalem. For their part, the attendees praised the King's diplomatic efforts to safeguard Jordan's interests and protect its assets and achievements, stressing that these efforts are supported and appreciated by Jordanians. The attendees also praised Jordan's unwavering stance in relation to the Palestinian cause, and its support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land, saying that a stalwart Jordan is a stalwart supporter of its Palestinian and Arab brethren. A number of attendees said the 'Israeli' escalation threatens the security of the entire region, which calls for unifying Arab positions to put pressure to stop the escalation and restore stability. They also praised the role of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies in protecting the Kingdom's security, while emphasising the need to strengthen the home front. A number of attendees also noted that the surrounding regional challenges have reinforced Jordanians' patriotic values and rallied them around their country and its leadership, especially among the younger generations.

The Crown Prince expressed his confidence in the efficiency and readiness of the JAF in defending the Kingdom's skies and land, praising the pivotal role of the Armed Forces in protecting Jordanians. His Royal Highness was briefed by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on the most recent developments, in light of tensions in the region and mechanisms to deal with potential security risks. The Crown Prince emphasised the importance of citizens ensuring the information they receive is from reliable sources, expressing confidence that misinformation and systematic campaigns negatively targeting Jordan will not affect Jordanians and their confidence in state institutions.

Jordan evacuates new batch of child patients from Gaza by land and air The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army on Wednesday implemented a new medical evacuation operation for 16 child patients from Gaza, including 10 cancer patients, along with 48 family members, as part of the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative. اضافة اعلان Twelve of the children were transported by land, while four were transported by air. One of the patients will be later evacuated to Saudi Arabia for treatment, while another will receive treatment in the United Arab Emirates. The patients and their accompanying family members were evacuated in cooperation with Jordan's Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO). A total of 57 children and 113 family members have been medically evacuated by land and air to Jordan since the medical corridor initiative was launched. The Jordan Medical Corridor initiative was launched in March this year upon Royal directives, with the goal of providing treatment for Gazan children at Jordanian hospitals.

Army downs drone attempting to cross border
Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone, in coordination with with security bodies, thwarted at dawn on Monday an attempt by a drone to cross the border on its western front, according to a military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF). Border Guard forces were able to thwart an attempt by a drone to cross the border from the west towards the east, the source added, explaining that the rules of engagement were applied after it was detected and tracked, and it was dealt with and shot down inside Jordanian territory. The source affirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces will continue to harness its various capabilities and potential to prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling operations, in order to preserve the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Jordan evacuates four Gazan children to receive cancer treatment
Ammon News - The Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army on Wednesday evacuated four Gazans children suffering from cancer and 12 family members accompanying them to Jordan for treatment. This is part of the second batch of the Jordanian Medical Corridor. Efforts to transport sick children from the Gaza Strip to receive treatment in Jordanian hospitals continue as part of the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative.
