Late for work. Laid off. Office romance. What your dreams about work might really mean
Ever dream about work? Have nightmares? According to a survey by the mattress review site , nearly two-thirds of us have job-related dreams that cause us to wake up stressed out and worried. Instead of shrugging them off, you might want to take note. While no definitive answer exists on the meaning of dreams, notable scientists, including Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, believed they hold messages. Freud, for example, considered dreaming to be an expression of repressed or unconscious conflicts or desires, while Jung explained dreams as thoughts released by the subconscious, creating an internal dialogue. Modern research recently concluded that dreams are part of the brain's data-dumping function, consolidating information it deems to be important. Dream interpreter Inbaal Honigman believes there is meaning in the dreams that you remember. 'It could be something super benign, or it could be more than that,' she says. Honigman teamed up with JobLeads, an online job search platform, analyzing search data to find the most popular work-related dreams. Here are some of the most common, along with Honigman's take on what they could be trying to tell you.

Why naming your baby after their birthstone could see them lead a lucky life
Gemstone-inspired baby names are on the up - some you will have heard before while others are far more unusual Naming your children is one of the hardest decisions parents have to make. Your offspring will need to live with their name forever and it could even influence relationships, jobs opportunities, and first impressions in the future. Many parents-to-be will want meaningful names for their newborns. To help couples looking for inspiration, Diamonds Factory Ireland spoke exclusively with celebrity psychic and astrologer Inbaal Honigman. Inbaal explained that parents or carers looking for a spiritual boost when naming their new bundle of joy can turn to gemstone-themed names. As well as being lovely monikers, some of them carry specific connotations or symbolism. In fact, using a baby's birthstone as inspiration for their name is said to bring good luck and protection. Inbaal said: "Naming a child after anything valuable, is linked with the value of that item or element. "People who believe in the spiritual power of birthstones, might be more inclined to believe in the protective power of a jewel name, but the beauty of spirituality is that it is inclusive to everyone. "Belief is not necessary, and if you just like the sound, history or meaning of the name, that's also lovely. Spiritual luck and protection will be included anyway." More well-known names Emerald, Pearl, and Ruby make up the birth stones for May, June, and July tots. Inbaal explained how these monikers have grown in popularity, and carry a spiritual weight to them. "The name Emerald may simply mean 'green gem' but the colour green carries such a wealth of meaning inside it," Inbaal said. "Green signifies nature, growth and success. Green is the colour of the heart chakra, and to some, it is the colour of money. A jewel name can give a baby everlasting blessings, as jewels are very long-lasting." On Ruby, a hugely popular name for girls, the expert went on: "Ruby is known as the stone of the heart. "Girls carrying the name Ruby will be blessed with love, vitality, protection and vitality. Red stones also lean towards confidence and fearlessness." Opal also takes the stone spot for October - an up-and-coming name for baby girls related to healing and soothing. "Bestowing the name Opal on a child would bless them with creativity, inspiration and emotional balance," Inbaal shared. "All gemstones have their own qualities, so none are luckier or more spiritually valuable than another, but some may be more or less aligned with your own values." More unusual and, erm, 'out-there' names include Aquamarine and Periody. Aquarmine is March's stone for Tranquility and Courage, while Periody is August's stone for Prosperity and Protection. Although the meanings are nice, they might not be in the running for the next generation of kids' names. EXCLUSIVE What your foot shape says about you: From 'thinkers' with 'Greek' toes to 'sensitive' people with 'Roman' digits, how your trotters reveal what you're really like
Many people will go to a palm reader to see what lies in their future, but increasingly people are visiting feet readers to learn more about themselves. While palm readers can tell your fortune - feet readers study the shapes and positions of toes to analyse a person's personality and behaviour. The belief is our toes and soles give a glimpse into our character and motivations, much like palm-reading. Meghan Markle, for example, toes show that she's 'bossy' while the Princess of Wales ' show that she is 'big shoulders for other people to cry on', according to the UK's leading foot reading expert Jane Sheehan. So, what do your feet say about you? According to experts, there are seven most common types of feet and these include the Roman foot, Peasant foot, Egyptian foot, Square foot, Greek foot, Stretched foot and the Simian Foot. And as Meghan leans into her new boho chic lifestyle, MailOnline have explored whether those with a particular foot shapes have differing qualities. Inbaal Honigman, celebrity psychic, and Cas Paton, founder and CEO of have revealed what your feet say about you as a person. THE PEASANT FOOT WHAT IS IT? This foot is defined by the big toe, long toe and middle toe being short and of equal length. To accommodate for the lack of balance caused by the shortness of these three toes, peasant foot is structurally 'flat'. Often there's no obvious cause for flat feet. It might just be the way your feet are. Sometimes flat feet run in families. INBAAL SAYS: 'This foot belongs to a pragmatist. Fuss free and down to Earth, this shape suggests a happy person that's low on stress and high on energy. This is a passionate, capable individual.' RELATED HEALTH CONDITIONS: Despite aiding stability, having fallen arches - or a flat foot - can affect the bodies alignment which increases the risk of ankle, knee and hip pain. Normal feet are designed to keep the entire lower body in the proper configuration when you stand or walk. Flat feet do not provide the same foundation for healthy posture. As the foot collapses toward the ground, the lower legs tend to rotate inward. This inward rotation can affect the entire leg, including the hips, leading to long-term leg and back pain . THE ROMAN FOOT WHAT IS IT? This is the most common and is characterised by inward pointing toes and, much like the peasant foot, the first three toes are of similar length. People with Roman foot typically have high arches allowing for greater acceleration and ease when changing direction suddenly. This is due to stiffer form limiting supination and pronation (two terms describing how your weight is distributed when you walk or run), allowing the foot to adapt and move quicker. INBAAL SAYS: 'This foot belongs to a thinker. Spiritual and devoted, this shape indicates a patient person who might take things to heart but won't talk about it. This is a reserved, successful person.' RELATED HEALTH CONDITIONS: People with Roman foot are however more prone to 'hammer toes', which is caused by the weakening of the muscles surrounding the toe. People with Roman foot are more prone to this due to already having an imbalance in muscles and ligaments that keep the toes straight. Symptoms include pain when moving or putting on footwear, swelling or a burning sensation, and - in severe cases - open sores on the toe. Treatments include exercises such as picking up marbles with your toes, switching to footwear with low heels and wider fit at the front, and shoe inserts to reduce pain. THE EGYPTIAN FOOT WHAT IS IT? Egyptian foot is distinguished by a long big toe, followed by the other toes being on an incline. Such feet are usually longer and narrower than any other shapes. INBAAL SAYS: 'This foot belongs to an empath. Idealistic and intuitive, this shape reveals a peaceful person who is pro-peace visionary. This is a low-tech, anti-war person.' RELATED HEALTH CONDITIONS: Despite being the foot type least likely to suffer from arthritis, bunions and load-dependent pain, this narrow structure allows for greater supination when walking. Supination means that when you walk, your weight tends to be more on the outside of your foot. If you have excess supination, where you bear too much weight on the outside of your foot, it causes stress on that part of the foot when you walk or run. You can check for supination by looking at the soles of your shoes: if you are affected, they will show uneven wear on the outside part. This uneven weight distribution can cause excess strain on your ankles, which in turn can lead to shin splints, calluses, or bunions on the outer side of your foot, and pain in your heels and balls of your feet. THE SQUARE FOOT WHAT IS IT? This type of foot is characterised by all five toes being of equal length, giving a broad, firm base. A wide ball and narrow heel are typical of this foot structure. INBAAL SAYS: 'This foot belongs to a grown up. Dependable, responsible and ambitious, this shape suggests a methodical person who doesn't panic when things get tough. This is a wealthy, mature person.' RELATED HEALTH CONDITIONS: The wide-to-narrow structure of the foot can lead to increased pressure on the toes and ball. This unequal distribution of weight can result in persistent metatarsalgia, a condition where the ball of the foot becomes painful and inflamed, if incorrect footwear is worn over a significant period of time. Athletes who partake in high impact sports might be particularly prone to metatarsalgia, although this is not always related to the shape of the foot. THE GREEK FOOT WHAT IS IT? Also known as the flame foot, this type of foot is defined by a protruding second toe and is one of the most common foot types, according to the survey. This shape is caused by a structural 'abnormality' in the metatarsals, which are long bones connecting the toes to the back of your foot. INBAAL SAYS: 'This foot belongs to a Jack of all Trades. Versatile and curious, this shape reveals a multi-talented person who can turn their hand (and foot) to anything. This is a lively, tactful person.' RELATED HEALTH CONDITIONS: With this foot type the first metatarsal bone is shorter than the second, which can cause more weight to be put on the thinner second metatarsal bone. This can result in pain in the arches of your feet. Pain in the arches of the foot can be eased at home using simple measures such as supportive shoes and physiotherapy exercises. THE STRETCHED FOOT WHAT IS IT? Stretched feet, or splay feet, are characterised by separated toes caused by wide set metatarsal bones. The forefoot is broadened and the metatarsal bones splay fan-shaped. INBAAL SAYS: 'This foot belongs to a social butterfly. Original and inventive, this shape indicates a party animal who loves to get to know people and share their lives. This is a confident, adaptable person.' RELATED HEALTH ISSUES: People who have splay foot generally experience load-dependent pain while walking and standing because of the way the weight is distributed throughout the foot. It can also lead to painful corns, calluses and sores developing, which can interfere with the rolling mechanism of the foot. As splay feet are extra wide, it can be difficult for people with affected feet to find comfortable shoes. THE SIMIAN FOOT WHAT IS IT? 'Simian' refers to features relating to, or resembling monkeys or apes. The main characteristic of Simian Foot is that the big toe leans towards the little toe. In some cases, this type of foot can have qualities of the other foot structures. INBAAL SAYS: 'This foot belongs to an extrovert. Creative, receptive and generous, this shape reveals an individual who can't stand to be bored and has a great imagination. This is a fun, exciting person.' RELATED HEALTH ISSUES: Due to the natural inward curve of the big toe, people with this type of foot are more likely to develop bunions. As such, some experts advise from refraining narrow and pointed toe shoes, such as a typical high heel.

Commit or quit? Before you make a move, consider these key zodiac dates for relationships in 2025
Summer is here, at least in the Northern Hemisphere — and wedding season is upon us. The most popular wedding dates of 2025 are Saturday, August 23, and Saturday, September 3. While these days are presumably picked for fair weather and the poetic notion that love should come to fruition whilst the world that surrounds us is in full bloom and at apex ripeness, there is a curious cosmic alignment to these auspicious dates. It's fitting that Saturday is the preferred day of the week for a hitching — it belongs to Saturn, our planet of karma, punishment, the long game, hard work, fortified foundations, and iron-clad Tarot reader, and astrologer Inbaal Honigman explains that two planets in particular have a direct bearing on how love relationships start, peak, and end. 'Naturally, the love planet Venus is important. This is the planet that influences our emotional well-being, the way we relate to others, and how comfortable we are in a relationship. When Venus is in a romantic sign, such as Pisces or Cancer, people will be feeling more inclined to get into relationships. 'On the other hand, when Venus is in a very independent sign, such as Aries or Sagittarius, the inclination would be more towards breakups.' From June 6th to July 5th, Venus will luxuriate in the pleasure pastures of Taurus. During this transit, we are drawn to the stable and the surefire and are more likely to commit, settle down, or just plain settle. From July 31 to August 26th, Venus will dip into the tidal pools of Cancer, a sign associated with divine domesticity, matching pajamas, soup mugs, and reciprocal soul-nourishing. This transit encourages an all-in, ready-to-move-in approach to relationships. It's about as cozy as the cosmos ever gets, folks — so ride it till it bucks you. Speaking of…when Venus enters the bold b–ch and bronco heart of Sagittarius on December 1, we're primed to see relationships end and wedding plans halted as the energy shifts from obsessive Scorpio to fancy free Sag. On the upswing or upright horseshoe, this transit also supports love as an unexpected discovery, rather than a well-plotted course — and elopement over the dog and pony show of a traditional wedding. Who doesn't love a plot twist? Mercury, our planet of the mind and the mouth, is another power player in the game of love. 'This is the planet that impacts the way we introduce ourselves, how we talk to others, and whether we tell the truth. When Mercury is in a communicative sign such as Gemini or Virgo, people are likely to talk themselves into somebody's favor. 'However, when Mercury is in a quieter sign such as Aquarius or Taurus, the vibe will be much more single,' explained Honigman. If we factor in the shadow period, Mercury will be retrograding in Leo for the bulk of the summer (June 30th to August 25th). In Leo, Mercury is made of jazz hands, crocodile tears, long-winded soliloquy, and unabashed declarations of love. Mercury retrograde in Leo loves nothing more than doomed romance and the comeback arch of long-lost love, so there could be reunions aplenty — or at least a reconcilatory fling before moving on and marrying up. Mercury stations retrograde on August 11th, and will just about clear its shadow in time for the two most popular wedding dates of 2025. Couples choosing to solidify their bond in late August and/or through September and October, will have likely come through the calamity of this transit bettered by it — and closer for it. 'What's interesting is that while wedding trends often follow practical patterns, like warm weather and weekends, there's often a subtle alignment with astrology too. August 23rd, this year's most popular wedding date, comes just after Mercury retrograde ends, which could feel like a natural moment of clarity and renewed connection for many couples,' Ella Citron-Thompkins from Diamonds Factory told The Post. She noted that winter and particularly the Christmas season are among the least popular times for nuptials, and often herald the need for deep rest, quiet, and introspection. More existential than marital, if you will. 'It's fascinating to see how the cosmic and the cultural sometimes overlap, even when we don't consciously plan it that way,' Citron-Thompkins said. Astrologer Reda Wigle researches and irreverently reports on planetary configurations and their effect on each zodiac sign.
