I'm A Celeb cast no longer speaking after Danny and Maura's drunken kiss
Former I'm A Celebrity star GK Barry has revealed that the group WhatsApp between the cast members has 'died down' following Danny Jones and Maura Higgins' kiss scandal Last year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! stars are no longer speaking after Danny Jones and Maura Higgins' kiss. The pair who became pals in the Australian jungle left fans stunned earlier this year when they were pictured locking lips at a lavish BRIT Awards after party. Danny, who is married to podcaster Georgia Jones, later apologised for his actions in a grovelling social media apology. However, Maura has remained silent about the scandal. Now, their co-star GK Barry, whose real name is Grace Keeling, has revealed the 2024 cast's group WhatsApp chat has died down. While some of the famous faces who took part are in regular contact, conversations have mellowed between the wider group which consisted of GK, Danny, Maura, Jane Moore, Coleen Rooney, Melvin Odoom, Reverend Richard Coles, Tulisa Contostavlos and Dean McCulloch. Grace has since opened up on The Katie Price podcast about her jungle experience and the friendships she made on the show. Katie, who appeared on the show twice, asked: "Have you kept in contact, because this is another thing, when I've done Big Brother and all of that, you're like, Yeah, 'I'll stay in contact...' "But you know the ones you'll stay in contact with, and some you just know… In the beginning, you text and then…" Grace responded: "We had a group chat. It has died down slightly as you can imagine, it's died down." She went on to add: "But I still keep in contact with the Rev [Richard Coles] and Dean [McCullough], I still keep in contact with a little bit, but mainly the Rev and Melvin [Odoom]. "I keep in contact with Melvin quite a lot." But while Maura and Danny were snapped locking lips in the early hours of March 2, the group chat was active in April. Speaking about the chat, Radio 1 DJ Dean said in April: "No, no one's left. Everyone's in it. Everyone's chatting away. I just love it because you'll just wake up one morning, and there'll just be a picture of Coleen on the school run with the kids, or Richard, the other day, sent us a picture of him at 10 o'clock in the morning in full fancy dress. "He was dressed as a nun. Everyone's in it, of course, and excited to meet up again." While GK found fame on TikTok, her status has been boosted since her stint in the jungle, with her going on to land a regular panellist position on ITV's Loose Women and even a stint on BBC Radio 1. From July 4, she will appear on the national station every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm through til 4pm. She said: "This is completely different from podcasting. I'm really excited to be presenting my own show with BBC Radio 1 this summer… "I'm always listening to the radio when I travel, so I can't wait to interact with the listeners and get them involved in all the fun."

'I interviewed Kim Woodburn and saw a side to her that people rarely saw'
Kim Woodburn became known for her quick wit, sharp tongue and her strength when it came to standing up for herself. This made me both incredibly excited and nervous ahead of my interview with the telly legend last year. Her death earlier this week was something none of us could have anticipated. Ahead of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! airing last year, I was offered an interview with Kim to discuss her time on the show as well as her views on last year's contestants, including Coleen Rooney, GK Barry and Loose Women anchor Jane Moore. But I'd grown up seeing Kim on shows such as How Clean Is Your House, I'm A Celeb, and Celebrity Big Brother, so I knew she didn't take any prisoners. Her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother is perhaps the most memorable part of the show's history, mainly her feud with Jamie O'Hara and Nicola McLean (whom she called Nicole). During her stint in the house, Kim clashed with several of her co-stars, but despite being older than them, she had more fire and was prepared to stand her ground. I knew that I would be getting several strong lines from Kim from the outset, and knew she wouldn't mince her words, which she didn't. She was one of the few stars who wasn't afraid to say what was really on her mind, whether people liked it or not – and that is exactly why I liked her. I mean, my motto is "it's better to be slapped with the truth than kissed with a lie," and Kim had the same outlook. But one thing I hadn't anticipated was just how warm and gentle Kim would be. Speaking to me from her home in Cheshire, where she lived with her beloved husband Peter, the telly star and expert cleaner showed me a side I wasn't prepared for after waking up late one morning. She was warm, approachable and made light of my bed head and told me I'd end up on the dole queue if I woke up late again. But towards the end of our chat, I couldn't help but ask Kim about her rise to fame. How did a woman from Portsmouth suddenly become a household name in her sixties? "I got into television when I was 61," she said. She went on to tell me: "Like everyone else, I went out to work, coming back, trying to juggle bills and leave one for two more days as we all do. Then suddenly I was discovered for television, and I didn't apply for the job. "I was discovered and within a month, swept into fame and a load of money, and I've always been grateful. I got into it so late at 61, I'm 82 now. So for 21 years, I've bought a house and I can go out and buy things I want. "If I want to treat myself and got a nice car, my husband's got a nice car – I'm ever so grateful. I'm ever so thankful, thank you so much. I was just lucky. You get it at that age and you don't forget, you don't forget." On Tuesday, I took a day off from social media and work for personal reasons and, when I saw the news of Kim's death, I was so sad. She was somebody who brought so much joy to so many people, often entertaining fans with her Cameo videos delivering some of her most iconic phrases, including "You chicken livered sh*t" and "damned adulterer!" Finding the footage of my interview late last night made me laugh beyond belief at 10pm. Kim, thank you for the entertainment – I hope you're having a gin and tonic up there.

Kim Woodburn's plan for Celebrity Big Brother return after fallout with co-stars
EXCLUSIVE: Former Celebrity Big Brother and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Kim Woodburn insisted her reality television days were not over just months before her death Kim Woodburn provided some of the most dramatic moments in British reality television, before her tragic death aged 83. Back in 2017, she seemingly didn't go a day without arguing with one of her Celebrity Big Brother co-stars, in one of show's most memorable series. Kim particularly clashed with Nicola McLean, and had further rows with the likes of Jamie O'Hara and Coleen Nolan. At one point during a heated argument in the famous house's bedroom, security were forced to intervene and drag her away from the drama. After the series concluded, Kim accused her housemates of bullying, which they have all denied. Despite this, the reality star said she wouldn't rule out a return if the show did an all-star series. This however came with one condition – that her former housemates wouldn't be living with her. In our interview with the star last year, we asked if she'd be up for the experience in the house again. She replied: "I wouldn't go back with the cast I had in there", before going on to brand them "rotten pigs". She added: "If any of them were in there that I knew, that were ganging up on me, I'm not going to give myself punishment. I like the money, but I'm not going to work with trash like that ever again. "But I'd go back in if most of them are who I haven't been in with. I wouldn't want to sit in the same house as them, why would I?" Kim admitted she had signed up to the likes of Celebrity Big Brother and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! for the money, and slammed those who claim they did it "for the experience". Reflecting on her stint in the house, she added: "I didn't go in to win, I went in for the money. Thank you television, you paid me lots of money. I wouldn't have gone on it if I didn't get paid a large amount. "I wouldn't have gone in the jungle [either]. Who's going to eat a flipping lamb's testicle in the jungle if you're not paid heaps of money?". Following her time on Celebrity Big Brother, Kim's feud with the series winner Coleen continued during an episode of Loose Women. Producers claimed that they invited her onto the panel to bury the hatchet with Coleen, but this instantly backfired. Just minutes into the interview, a row between them erupted which prompted Coleen's co-stars and sister Linda to get involved. As part of their exchange, the panellist said her biggest mistake was not telling Kim "how vile she was from day one". Hitting back, the former How Clean Is Your House? star said she "was very upset" on the show and pretended she wasn't. She went on to accuse her co-stars of picking on her, adding: "This one [pointing to Coleen], 'Cup of tea Kim, cup of tea?' everyday and behind my back they were slagging me off. "I don't want to draw a line under it...I will never forget what the likes of this one and seven others put me through...I will never forget it because it was sad, awful and it was b****y cruel!". On reflection, Coleen later said she wished their reunion never happened, and claimed it almost caused her to step away from showbiz. According to the Daily Mail, she added: "And then I thought...'I'm not going to let Kim Woodburn finish my a cleaning lady!". News of Kim's death was announced on Tuesday by her manager. A statement issued to press reads: 'It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness. Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. 'Her husband, Peter, is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate. We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career. We kindly ask that Kim's husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details.'
