Home Bargains has £50 off 'huge' paddling pool that 'little ones love'

The 239cm paddling pool is worth £75 and comes with a slide, inflatable toys and a palm tree that sprays water Home Bargains shoppers can take advantage of the weekend sunshine and invest in some water-based fun for the kids that should last all summer long. Many items are significantly reduced from their usual price, but shoppers are quickly snapping them up ahead of the 30°C heatwave. Kids won't be short of fun with the Bestway Fantastic Aquarium Play Centre that comes with a built-in slide, colourful inflatable sea creature toys, and a palm tree that, when connected to a garden hose, gently sprays children with a cooling shower during playtime. ‌ Usually priced at £74.99, Home Bargains has cut the RRP of this "huge" paddling pool down to just £24.99, saving customers nearly £50 on a summer staple. On Instagram, a Home Bargains spokesperson wrote: "It's gettin' hot out here so grab a pool and chill like a pro! We've got plenty in store ready to cool you down!" ‌ Shoppers shared their thoughts on the 239cm paddling pool, which offers plenty to keep little ones cool and entertained this summer. One wrote: "Perfect for this weather! Another added: "We need this badly! Looks so fun!" The Mirror reported that a third commented: "Bought the first one my little boy loves it. Great value for money." Another person wrote: "It's huge! The little ones love it." More pools were highlighted in the Instagram post, such as the Family Lounge Pool (worth £29.99, sold for £12.99) which comes with two seats and cupholders. Shoppers also spotted the larger Avenli 10ft Pool (£34.99) alongside other delightful garden toys such as water slides (£8.99), a standalone sprinkler palm tree (£7.99) and a rainbow arch sprinkler (£9.99). The Met Office has confirmed that Brits should brace themselves for sweltering conditions, with heatwave temperatures expected to bake the nation just in time for the weekend. Thermometers are set to hit highs of 34°C in some parts of England, with similar temperatures forecast for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland too. ‌ It's not just the numbers on the thermometer rising, pollen counts will also soar, meaning trouble for those with hayfever. UV levels will also climb to levels that put people at risk of sunburn and serious skin damage too. It's particularly important for anyone soaking up rays in the coming days to adopt measures to shield themselves and their kin from these surging UV dangers. The Met Office weather app provides a UV forecast for the next 7 days and an hourly forecast for the next 2 days. Cancer Research UK's Senior Health Information Officer Yinka Ebo warned people about the invisible dangers that come with this splendid weather. Ebo claimed there is a fine balance between reaping the benefits of sunshine and guarding against its pitfalls. ‌ She said: "It's great to have such lovely weather, and we all need some sun to keep us healthy, but it's important to stay safe when the sun is strong and take care not to burn. In many cases sunburn actually happens in the UK, often when people are out and about. The sun's rays can be strong enough to burn in the UK from around April to September." The expert added that a mix of shade, cover-up clothing and sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 is the best and safest way to enjoy the summer sun safely. The NHS provides more guidance on its website regarding sun safety and how to achieve a balance between shielding oneself from the sun's rays and obtaining sufficient vitamin D from sunlight.

Home Bargains selling 'huge' kids paddling pool worth £75 for £25

It will be perfect to grab a bargain and make the most of the pool all summer long Home Bargains shoppers can make the most of the weekend sunshine and invest in some water fun with the kids that should last all summer long. Most are massively discounted from the usual price, but people are clearing the shelves ahead of the heatwave. The huge Bestway Fantastic Aquarium Play Centre comes complete with a built-in slide, colourful inflatable sea creature toys, and a palm tree that, when connected to a garden hose, gently sprays kids with a cooling shower during playtime. ‌ Typically valued at £74.99, Home Bargains has slashed the RRP of this fun-looking paddling pool down to just £24.99, saving shoppers almost £50 on a major purchase. ‌ On Instagram, a spokesperson wrote: "It's gettin' hot out here so grab a pool and chill like a pro! We've got plenty in store ready to cool you down!" Plenty of shoppers shared their opinions of the 239cm paddling pool with a lot to keep little ones cool and entertained this summer. One penned: "Perfect for this weather! Another added: "We need this badly! Looks so fun!" A third chimed in: "Bought the first one my little boy loves it great value for money." Someone else put: "It's huge! The little ones love it." More pools were given a spotlight on the Instagram post, such as the Family Lounge Pool (worth £29.99, sold for £12.99) which comes with two seats and cupholders. ‌ Shoppers also saw the bigger Avenli 10ft Pool (£34.99) as well as other fun garden items like water slides (£8.99), a standalone sprinkler palm tree (£7.99) and a rainbow arch sprinkler (£9.99). The Met Office has confirmed that Brits can expect heatwave conditions to be met ahead of the weekend. Highs of 34°C are forecast in parts of England, with similar temperatures predicted across Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland too. As well as increasing temperatures, high pollen levels will bring challenges for hay fever sufferers and UV levels will also be high, increasing the chance of sunburn. ‌ It is important that, if you are in an area that is particularly sunny over the next few days, you take steps to ensure that you and your family are protected from these increased UV levels. Yinka Ebo, Senior Health Information Officer at Cancer Research UK said: "It's great to have such lovely weather, and we all need some sun to keep us healthy, but it's important to stay safe when the sun is strong and take care not to burn. "In many cases sunburn actually happens in the UK, often when people are out and about. The sun's rays can be strong enough to burn in the UK from around April to September. "You can protect yourself and your family from sunburn by using a combination of shade, clothing and at least SPF 15 sunscreen when enjoying the sunshine." The NHS has plenty of advice on its website about sun safety. It details how to strike a balance between protecting yourself from the sun and getting enough vitamin D from sunlight.
