Gia Giudice Explains Why She's Planning to Move Out of Her Family's New Jersey Home: "It's a Lot"
Gia Giudice could be leaving the nest very soon. Although she will always be a Jersey girl at heart, the Next Gen NYC cast member said she plans to leave her family's Montville home in the next several months. Why? Well, Gia explained that her increasingly busy work schedule has required frequent commutes from New Jersey to Manhattan, which she found to be 'super exhausting.' 'It's a lot. My schedule has only picked up since Next Gen NYC, which is funny, because it picked up the summer we were filming Next Gen, and no one knew that we were filming it,' she recently told Today. 'It's just my career kind of started picking up, and my brand started growing, and I am in the city at least four times a week, so it's a lot of back and forth from Jersey.' After graduating from Rutgers University in 2023, The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter moved back in with her mom, Teresa Giudice, and stepdad, Luis 'Louie' Ruelas. Gia spoke about her living situation in the March 23 episode of her Casual Chaos podcast, saying she didn't 'have an urgency to move out' of her family's $3.3 million mansion. 'I mean, I have everything I need at home,' she said. 'I know people that stay home until they get married. I make my own money, I do my own thing, but I just don't see the urgency to move out.' Gia told Today she wanted to start apartment hunting sometime in August and begin the moving process in September. However, the 24-year-old said she has yet to decide where she will live. I'm gonna figure it out,' she said, before revealing her plans to visit her family's abode regularly. 'I'll still spend my weekend at home, maybe every other weekend at home,' she continued. Gia touched on a potential home move in a 2024 episode of her mom's podcast series, Turning the Tables. The Jersey native said she wanted to move in with her longtime boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, rather than live by herself. 'I think you should live on your own first,' Teresa told Gia. 'I do really want to move in with him, eventually,' Gia said. 'What am I going to do, mom? Live on my own? That's going to be so boring. He's literally going to be over every night anyway if I lived on my own." 'I give you my blessing if you want to move in with Christian,' Teresa responded. Gia reassured her mom she wasn't in any rush to shack up with her beau, saying, "When it happens, it happens." ‘Love Island USA,' Plus 7 Things to Watch on TV this Week
Between streaming and cable, there is a seemingly endless variety of things to watch. Here is a selection of TV shows and specials that are airing or streaming this week, June 2-8. 'Below Deck Down Under' just wrapped, and luckily for those of us who can't get enough of life and drama at sea, the new season of 'Below Deck' is setting sail with Capt. Kerry Titheradge at the helm this week. Fraser Olender is also back as chief stew on the show that follows the crew of a luxury charter yacht. In a preview released by Bravo, we already saw a crew member calling the maritime police and, well, everyone making out with everyone. Monday at 8 p.m. on Bravo. Toooonight (said in Iain Stirling's voice): 'Love Island USA' is back for its seventh season. Though there may be some flawed logic in sending a group of hotties to a remote island villa in an attempt to form long-lasting relationships, it does make for ridiculously fun TV. New episodes arrive every day of the week except Wednesdays, with Ariana Madix back as the host. Things are sure to be messy. Streaming starting on Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Peacock. Warning: If you watched the original seasons of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' this new show might make you feel a little old. Teresa Giudice's daughter, Gia, who was 8 years old when she first appeared on that series, will be in 'Next Gen NYC,' alongside adult children of other 'Real Housewives' franchise stars, with some New York City influencers mixed in. As the cast members of other Bravo shows like 'Summer House' and 'Vanderpump Rules' age out of their hard-core partying days, maybe this new cast will fill those roles. Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Bravo. A big week for theater. From Tom Francis's 'Sunset Boulevard' walk to Cole Escola's Mary Todd Lincoln in 'Oh, Mary!' and Audra McDonald's return to the stage in 'Gypsy,' there has been a lot of theater to celebrate this season. And that is exactly what will happen at the Tony Awards. Alongside the usual performances from this year's biggest shows, it was announced last week that original 'Hamilton' cast will reunite for a performance during the broadcast. With the new show, however, it seems that Gia may be putting law school on hold. Bravo Teases Making it in Manhattan, Show Gets New Title: Next Gen NYC
Bravo just dropped a new show on us! , originally teased as has been confirmed. In a new Instagram post, Bravo revealed that Brooks Marks, Gia Giudice, Riley Burruss, and Ariana Biermann will be leading this new series along with a few new faces to the Bravo world. Check out the full cast below, and get ready to see the next generation of Bravolebrities. The network teased the cast on Instagram yesterday with a series of adorable childhood photos, including pics of Riley and Ariana as babies. We had a hunch that they were getting ready to announce something related to Making it in Manhattan, but they wound up pulling out a new title for the show and a few new faces. The press release continued: 'While some hail from the spotlight of well-known families, others have created a legacy of their own, but they all are looking to thrive in the city that never sleeps.' According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, this upcoming show will also feature cameos from some of the famous Bravo parents. Expect to see Teresa Giudice, Kandi Burruss, and the entire Marks family from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City show up for some camera time.
