Fans furious over detail in Addison Rae's Aussie tour

Addison Rae fans have been left in outrage after the US pop star's tour was announced Down Under this week. Sixty thousand wannabe concertgoers have scrambled to get tickets to her shows, but have faced long wait times for the limited numbers of gigs which are being held in small venues. Instead of booking large arenas, Rae will be performing in venues like the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, which has a capacity of 1600. In Melbourne, the 24-year-old Diet Pepi hitmaker is set to play at the Forum, which is limited to 2000. ''60k+ in the queue for a 2k-capacity venue is EVIL,' posted one fan on the Frontier Touring Instagram on Thursday, after the promoter announced they were adding more shows to Rae's schedule to meet the demand. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Sixty thousand wannabe concertgoers have scrambled to get tickets to her shows, but have faced long wait times for the limited numbers of gigs which are being held in small venues 'I'm not sure what genius decided The Forum was the best venue,' commented another fan on the thread, adding, 'Probably could fill Rod Laver Arena more than once. Easy.' 'I'm begging you [the promoter] to upgrade [the] Sydney [show] to the Hordern,' complained another, referring to the Hordern Pavilion which can hold 5,500 fans. Meanwhile, Rae's fans wondered why the performer was playing at 18+ venues such as the Forum and Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall, which holds 3,300 people. 'Melbourne all ages come on,' moaned one, while another added, 'Please no 18+ [shows].' Rae was originally scheduled to play a mere three gigs in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. The Aussie tour promoter has now added an extra gig in each city. The TikTok star-turned-tunesmith will now do six Australian shows - Melbourne's The Forum on November 11 and 12, the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on November 14 and 15 and Sydney's Enmore Theatre on November 17 and 18. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Rae shared a string of dates that will see her kick off the tour in Dublin before heading across Europe and the US. Instead of booking large arenas, Rae will be performing in venues like the Enmore Theatre in Sydney , which has a capacity of 1600 'The Addison tour is really real,' she excitedly captioned the announcement. 'I can't believe I get to sing and dance for you (and with you) this autumn. Are you coming?' The announcement sent Australian fans into a frenzy, with many expressing their excitement over on promoter Frontier Touring's Instagram. 'A good way to start the day isn't it?' one quipped, while another offered a similar: 'Best news.' General on sale begins at 10am on Friday, June 20. The announcement comes hot on the heels of Addison's self-titled debut album, which dropped earlier this month. Thanks to such viral hits as Diet Pepsi, Aquamarine, and Headphones On, the album has nabbed a number four slot on the Billboard 200, and a number two spot on the Australian ARIA charts.

The Band CAMINO Announce Live Return To Australia & New Zealand: The NeverAlways Tour

The Band CAMINO is back and bigger than ever. MG Live and Frontier Touring are excited to announce the Nashville-based trio will make their highly anticipated return to Australia and New Zealand this summer, with the NeverAlways world tour: including five headline dates in February 2026 in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle. Two years on from their first sold-out tour down under, today's news sees the band – Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess – also officially announcing their forthcoming third studio album, NeverAlways, arriving July 25th via Atlantic Records (pre-order here). The 11-track collection is previewed today by new tracks and videos: 'Stupid Questions' and 'Hates Me Yet (222)'. ' Both 'Stupid Questions' and 'Hates Me Yet (222)' came from a similar headspace – that spiral you slip into when you care a little too much and think a little too hard,' explains Jeffery Jordan. ' We wanted these songs and their visuals to capture the way overthinking can feel both ridiculous and heavy at the same time… two sides to the same door, except one's a smirk and the other's a blow to the chest.' The band's NeverAlways headline tour kicks off in Atlanta, GA this October, starting with a 28-date North American run ahead of European dates in December, the Australian leg continuing through February 2026. For full routing and ticket information, please visit Tickets for the AU/NZ shows go on sale Friday 27 June (10am local time) via Frontier members can access early presale tickets via the promoter presale, starting Wednesday 25 June (10am local time). The NeverAlways era kicked off last month with 'Infinity', co-written with longtime collaborators Seth Ennis and Schmidt (capturing the classic CAMINO sound first heard on hit singles 'Daphne Blue' and 'See Through') and 'Baggy Jeans,' co-written with Captain Cuts. The forthcoming album also features collaborators Jonah Shy (Role Model, Shawn Mendes) & Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams). ' All at once, the music is the juxtaposition of who we've been, where we're going, and where we're headed,' Jordan continues. ' We wouldn't have made this record five years ago. It's a perfect snapshot of what we're listening to, how our tastes have matured, and how we've evolved. We're continuing to take people on a journey.' The Band CAMINO has amassed nearly 1 billion career streams, sold out global headline tours, and received critical acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard and more. Since forming in 2015, they've unleashed a series of fan favourite projects including the My Thoughts On You EP (2016), Heaven EP (2017), tryhard EP (2019), self-titled debut LP The BAND CAMINO (2021), and sophomore LP The Dark (2023). They have delivered showstopping performances on The Kelly Clarkson Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live, in addition to major festival sets at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and more. Now entering their tenth year, the trio has crafted their most substantial body of work yet alongside exhilarating live shows slated through 2026.

Fans not happy about Addison Rae's venues for Aus tour

Don't miss out on the headlines from Music Tours. Followed categories will be added to My News. Addison Rae fans have been left frustrated by the American pop star's small venues for her Australian tour. Disgruntled punters complained they were stuck in queues of more than 50,000 people vying to buy the 2000 to 2500 tickets available for each of her six shows. The TikTok queen's debut album Addison debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA charts and despite her enormous popularity here, she has booked theatres rather than arenas for her November tour. It is most likely she couldn't secure the bigger venues which have capacity of about 5000 people such as Sydney's Hordern Pavilion, which hosted the first big gigs by Tate Macrae and Gracie Abrams, as November is the peak touring month in Australia. Addison Rae debuted at No. 2 with her debut record. Picture: Getty. Huge demand during the pre-sales for the Addison tour, her debut global headlining run, prompted Frontier Touring to add second shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. '52k in queue for sydney, idk where everyone came from omg,' noted on fan on the Frontier Touring Instagram channel during the pre-sale on Thursday. A Melbourne punter said The Forum venue, which has a standing room capacity of 2000 people, was too small considering the size of her fanbase in Australia. Rae, who has more than 88 million followers on TikTok, with over 5.8 billion likes, has exploded on the global pop charts over the past year courtesy of co-starring on the Charli XCX track Von Dutch and her own breakout hit Diet Pepsi. 'I'm not sure what genius decided The Forum was the best venue. Probably could fill Rod Laver Arena more than once. Easy,' he wrote. Rae blew up on TikTok before launching her pop career. Picture: Getty. Several ticket buyers also complained that the venues in Melbourne and Brisbane restricted tickets to punters over 18 years, shutting out her younger fans. Only Sydney's Enmore Theatre shows are open to all ages. 'A bigger venue that is not 18+ would be appreciated,' wrote one fan. There was an interesting difference in the ticket pricing for the Melbourne and Brisbane shows compared with Sydney for the tour. General admission tickets for the Melbourne gigs and two concerts at Brisbane's Fortitude Music are $99, while Sydney fans can choose between standing for $99 or a seat for $149. Rae heads to Australia on tour in November. Picture: Supplied 'Why am I paying $50 more to sit up the back?' opined an Addison diehard. The virtual queues are predicted to be even more hectic on Friday when general tickets go on sale from 10am (local time). Rae performs at the Forum in Melbourne on November 11 and 12 (Ticketek), Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall (Ticketmaster) on November 14 and 15 and Sydney's Enmore Theatre (Ticketek) on November 17 and 18. His emotional, alt-pop ballad 'Back to Friends' debuted on the Hot 100 in April, driven by 6 million official on-demand streams and 304,000 radio audience impressions in a single week. The track has since climbed into the top 10 on Billboard's Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart alongside the single 'Undressed.' Boose is the sole credited writer and producer on 'Back to Friends,' and the only songwriter on 'Undressed,' which he co-produced with industry veteran Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, Boygenius, Daisy Jones & The Six). Sombr's introspective songwriting and genre-blurring sound have drawn comparisons to artists like The 1975, Phoebe Bridgers and even Radiohead — one of his biggest inspirations. 'My favorite band of all time is Radiohead,' he recently told Billboard. 'And I'm a big fan of Jeff Buckley, Phoebe Bridgers, The 1975. I listen to a ton of alternative music — it's my genre.' Following tour support slots with Daniel Seavey and an upcoming run with Nessa Barrett across Europe, the December headline marks Sombr's official arrival as a solo artist with global ambitions and a growing fanbase to match.
