Ex-MLB star Alex Guerrero puts $75M Miami mansion on market, includes 18-car garage

Ex-MLB star Alex Guerrero puts $75M Miami mansion on market, includes 18-car garage (Image Source: Getty) Former MLB player Alex Guerrero, who spent the majority of his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers and later had a prolific career in Japan, is kicking down the door for big boy luxury real estate. And Guerrero has put an unfinished mansion in Miami up for $75 million. Sitting on Palm's North Bay Road, the property is being sold as a custom spec home with a mind-blowing 18-car garage, and its likely buyers are ultra-wealthy types who value peace as much as prestige. The property's standout features The mansion occupies a half-acre plot of land on the waterfront with 110 feet of open bay and space for a 90-foot yacht on a private dock. The estate, which also has seven en-suite bedrooms, was designed by the architecture firm Valle Valle & Partners and measures over 10,250 square feet. The master suite is 1,500 square feet and will have its private garden, balcony overlooking the bay, and cold plunge. — WSJRealEstate (@WSJRealEstate) Aside from this, there are two indoor kitchens and a complete outdoor caterer's kitchen, great for entertainment purposes. On the outside, space is equipped with an infinity-edge pool, hot tub, and tropical landscaping to complement the luxurious feel. But the pièce de résistance is the home with the 18-car garage, which has a three-car climate-controlled space above ground and a 15-car underground bay, which the resident accesses through a gated entrance equipped with a waterfall-activated sensor. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 40+ Say This Wrinkle Serum "Really Delivered' (Shocking Results) The Skincare Magazine Undo Strategic pricing and Alex Guerrero's real estate journey Alex Guerrero paid a hefty amount of $13.6 million for the lot in the year 2023, after having completed a spec mansion on Palm Island that sold for $17 million. He situates the existing mid-construction North Bay Road project, which he anticipates wrapping in 2026, so that prospective buyers can customize finishes and layouts to their preference. Home to stars including the Beckhams, Cindy Crawford, and Karlie Kloss, North Bay Road is among Miami's more exclusive addresses. Quoting Guerrero's asking rate would be no mistake, as the location is so highly sought after that the Beckhams officially purchased it last October for about $72 million. Also Read: Shohei Ohtani's return to mound dominates with record viewership Alex Guerrero, now 38, has successfully repurposed himself from pro athlete to high-end developer. And he is listed by Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman, who seems to be making a serious run at the upper-echelon level of real estate in Miami. So this mansion, to Guerrero, is more than a property; it's a statement piece for those buyers seeking high-end design, privacy, and the Miami experience.

Alex Rodriguez opens up about hard times and how he teaches his daughters to never give up (Image Source: Jenifer/YT) Alex Rodriguez, in his Baseball career, has experienced highs and very low points. Still, one incident in his life stood out as particularly difficult. It was individual, not only about sports. The knowledge he acquired during that period transformed his view as a parent. In a recent presentation, he discussed how his past assisted him in raising his daughters, Natasha and Ella, with honesty and strength. Alex Rodriguez opens up about tough past during 'The Jennifer Hudson Show' appearance Former New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez was on The Jennifer Hudson Show in October 2023. He honestly admitted during the interview the most challenging event in his life: being suspended from Major League Baseball in 2014. Alex Rodriguez Extended Interview | The Jennifer Hudson Show He claimed it caused him to stop and thoroughly examine himself and called it "a tough time. "I've been through a lot of ups and downs," Rodriguez said. Really challenging for me; I was suspended in 2014 Major League history. Still, it was very helpful for me. I had a chance to turn the camera inside, get a lot of treatment, and analyze stuff. He spoke about how he focused on getting to know himself more during that phase. He also devoted more time to his daughters, said with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Forget Furosemide, Use This Household Item To Help Drain Edema Fluid WellnessGuide Learn more Undo He wished to be a superior father rather than only a better individual. He believes in being open with them about his mistakes. For him, it's important that they know it's okay to fall — but it's also important to stand up again. 'When you're a little one and Pops leaves at 10, you've got to figure it out, right?' he said, referring to his own childhood. 'The last 10 years have been the greatest time of my life.' He added, 'What I've taught them is: you've got to stand up, you've got to earn it, you've got to work hard, you've got to be honest. You're going to make mistakes, but you've got to get back up and get back up to that plate like you're ready to go again.' Rodriguez is still not in the Baseball Hall of Fame. But for his daughters, he's teaching what really matters, how to grow, learn, and keep going no matter what.

Red Sox Slugger Alex Bregman Gets Major Injury Update

Red Sox Slugger Alex Bregman Gets Major Injury Update originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Boston Red Sox Superstar third baseman Alex Bregman has been out since May 23 with a right quad strain. Bregman was playing better than ever, showing why the Red Sox signed him to a deal in the offseason. Advertisement While the expectation is for him to hit the free agency market again and opt out of his contract, this injury could complicate things if he doesn't return to playing the baseball he was before the injury. In 51 games, Bregman posted a 159 OPS+, 11 home runs, and a .299 batting average. The Red Sox will need him, and soon, as they haven't played well since he went down. But according to a recent report from Ian Browne of he's recovering well and is expected to return sometime in early July. Boston Red Sox third baseman Alex Bregman (2) runs the bases after hitting a solo home run against the Texas Rangers during the fourth inning at Fenway Fluharty-Imagn Images "When Alex Bregman went down, a lot of people compared it to his injury in 2021, when he missed 10 weeks with that left quad injury," Browne said Tuesday. "Fortunately, the right quad seems to be recovering much better. Bregman is already running. Advertisement "I've heard from people that he wants to be back in early July. That would really fuel this team. Now that they have Roman Anthony up, you're finally going to see a Red Sox lineup that's going to be a consistent, everyday lineup with people you expected to be in it." An early July return might be too late for the Red Sox, who sit in fourth place in the American League East and are nine games behind the first-place New York Yankees. Nine games is a bunch to be behind at this stage in the season, but if the Red Sox can get it below seven at the beginning of July, anything should be possible. On trial for sexual abuse, Rays' Wander Franco also facing gun charge

On trial for sexual abuse, Rays' Wander Franco also facing gun charge Show Caption Hide Caption Ex-MLB player Wander Franco arrested again in Dominican Republic Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco, who is on the MLB's restricted list, has been arrested again in the Dominican Republic. unbranded - Sport Legal problems for Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco continue to mount. Already on trial for alleged sexual abuse of a minor, the former American League All-Star was charged Sunday with illegal possession of a firearm, police said. Franco, 24, was arrested in November following an altercation in a parking lot in San Juan de la Maguana, about 115 miles northwest of Santo Domingo. During the arrest, police found a semiautomatic Glock 19 in his vehicle, according to a statement from the Dominican Public Prosecutor's Office obtained by the Associated Press. Prosecutors said the handgun was registered to Franco's uncle and requested Franco stand trial on the gun charge. In response, Franco's attorney said that since the gun was licensed, "there's nothing illegal about it." Franco is currently on MLB's restricted list as his trial on sex abuse charges continues. The 2023 AL All-Star – who signed an 11-year, $182 million contract with the Rays in 2021 – has not played since August 2023, when he was first accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a then 14-year-old girl in the Dominican Republic. He was placed on the restricted list after he was ordered to stand trial in the Dominican Republic on charges of sexual abuse, sexual exploitation of a minor and human trafficking. Franco faces up to 20 years in prison on those charges and also remains under MLB investigation for violations of its joint domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy.

Trevor Bauer wins default judgment in defamation suit vs. sexual assault accuser

Trevor Bauer wins default judgment in defamation suit vs. sexual assault accuser Show Caption Hide Caption Ex-MLB star Trevor Bauer settles sexual assault lawsuit Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer and Lindsey Hill, who accused him of sexual assault, have settled their lawsuit outside of court. unbranded - Sport A Los Angeles Superior Court judge on Tuesday ordered a woman who accused former MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer of sexual assault to pay the 2020 NL Cy Young award winner more than $300,000 in damages for violating terms of a settlement agreement. Attorneys for Bauer and Lindsey Hill, the woman whose allegations led to an MLB investigation and ultimately Bauer's 192-game suspension, struck a deal two years ago to end their lawsuits against each other. However, Bauer filed a new suit last October, alleging that Hill violated terms of their agreement by claiming multiple times on social media that she did receive financial compensation from him. When Hill failed to contest the new suit, Judge Daniel Crowley ruled in Bauer's favor and ordered her to pay $309,832.02 – $10,000 for each of the 22 alleged violations, plus attorney's fees and interest. After the decision, Hill acknowledged in a post on X that she "refused to participate in this suit in any way shape or form" and will appeal the decision. "He will never see a cent from me," she added. Bauer won the 2020 NL Cy Young award with the Cincinnati Reds and signed a three-year, $102 million free agent contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers the following offseason. However, he was placed on administrative leave in 2021 when allegations of sexual assault from multiple women led to an MLB investigation and an unprecedented 324-game suspension in April 2022. No criminal charges were ever filed. His suspension was later reduced to 194 games, but the Dodgers chose to release him while paying most of the $35.3 million remaining on his contract. Bauer, 34, has since pitched in Japan and Mexico, but has not received any interest from an MLB team, despite a stated willingness to play for the league-minimum salary.
