KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 — Malaysian girl group Dolla has shown support for K-pop group KIIRAS after three of its members took part in the viral MWA! dance challenge. KIIRAS members Lingling, Kylie and Roah uploaded a video on Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube yesterday, performing the choreography to Dolla's hit comeback single, MWA!. 'LOVEEE! Support Lingling,' wrote Dolla member Angel on X along with a Malaysian flag emoji, reposting the video alongside fellow member Tabby. Lingling, Malaysia's first female K-pop idol hailing from Klang, joined two of her KIIRAS groupmates for the challenge. The video quickly gained traction online with over 67,300 views and rising at the time of writing. Fans on social media expressed excitement over the crossover, with several highlighting the Malaysian connection between Lingling and Dolla. Comments like 'MAKA KAMI RAKYAT MALAYSIA' and 'MENYALAHHH ORANG KLANGGG' appeared across X, referencing both the idols' heritage and energy. Fans also called for a collaboration between the two groups, with one user tweeting, 'Okeii KIIRAS x DOLLA crumbssss??' Sabahan jeweller wins double titles at Mr Nusantara 2025

Kuala Lumpur: Sabah's very own Jervie Lo @ Leon has clinched two prestigious titles in one night, emerging as Mr Malaysia Nusantara 2025 and Mister Supranational Malaysia 2025 at the grand finale of the Mr Nusantara Pageant held on May 29 at the Galaxy Banquet Hall, HGH Convention Centre. The 43-year-old jeweller from Kota Kinabalu stole the spotlight and the hearts of the audience with his poise and presence, earning a double victory that now sets him on course to represent Malaysia at the 9th Mister Supranational competition in Poland this coming June 28. Advertisement Lo's triumph was part of a thrilling three-nation celebration of male excellence in the Nusantara region. Sharing the podium was Candra Hakiki, a 31-year-old model from Jakarta who was crowned Mr Indonesia Nusantara 2025. Meanwhile, Singapore's Nicholas Erekose Sim, 48, was named Mr Singapore Nusantara 2025 before going on to win the overall regional title of Mr Nusantara 2025. Sim, who serves as the co-founder and Group CEO of Fiduciary Group, impressed judges with his confidence, charisma and commitment to cultural unity and social impact. A seasoned veteran of the pageant scene, Sim had previously held the title of Mr Singapore International for over a decade. His comeback was nothing short of inspiring, walking away with a prize package worth USD 80,000, including a brand-new car. The star-studded finale, which drew a full house of distinguished guests, media and fans, showcased a vibrant celebration of talent, intellect and heritage. Contestants competed in multiple rounds including resort wear, formal wear, talent showcase and a Q&A segment, with each finalist demonstrating both modern masculinity and cultural pride. Adding to the glamour of the night were appearances by Miss Supranational Malaysia 2025 Eshwin Kaur and Miss Malaysia 2025 (Miss Emerald) Jessrina Kaur, who lent their grace to the occasion. The evening reached a fever pitch with a high-energy performance by Malaysia's top girl group, Dolla, who thrilled the crowd with a trio of their biggest hits.
