'P77' starring Barbie Forteza releases official poster
"P77" has released its official movie poster! GMA Pictures uploaded the poster of the upcoming horror film on social media Monday. The poster features lead actress Barbie Forteza inside an elevator with a different reflection of herself mirrored back at her. "THE WORST NIGHTMARES HAPPEN WIDE AWAKE," GMA Pictures wrote in the caption. In "P77," which stands for Penthouse 77, Barbie stars as Luna Caceres, a young woman who takes on a cleaning job inside a mysterious penthouse. Adding to the mystery of the film is Luna's mother, Natalia, who has gone missing. The film will also star Euwenn Mikaell, Gina Pareño, and Jackie Lou Blanco. It is directed by Derick Cabrido, the filmmaker behind Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry "Mallari," and written by Enrico Santos, based on an original concept by Anj Atienza and Xtian Julao. It is produced by GMA Pictures, GMA Public Affairs, and Clever Minds Inc. "P77" will be distributed by Warner Bros. Philippines. Barbie Forteza's upcoming horror movie, 'P77,' dropped its teaser video! In the short clip uploaded by GMA Pictures on Wednesday evening, the Kapuso Primetime Princess was introduced as Luna Caceres, a young woman who takes on a cleaning job inside a mysterious penthouse. As Luna moves through the space, she feels as if her thoughts and memories are being read and remembered by the place. Adding to the mystery of the film is the mention of Luna's mother, Natalia, who has gone missing. 'Pwede kang pumasok… Pero paano kung hindi ka na makalabas?' GMA Pictures wrote in the caption. 'P77' starring Barbie Forteza is coming to cinemas this July
"P77," the horror movie starring Barbie Forteza, is coming to Philippine cinemas this month! On social media, GMA Pictures shared some behind the scenes snaps from the movie. Among the photos was a scene where Barbie can be seen cleaning a bloody toilet. "Some nightmares look a lot like home. Uuwi ka pa ba kung ang bahay mo ay bangungot para sa 'yo?" the caption read. According to the post, "P77" will be screened in July. No specific date has been revealed so far. "P77," which stands for Penthouse 77, will also star "Firefly" child actor Euwenn Mikaell and veteran actress Gina Pareño. The film is directed by Derick Cabrido, the filmmaker behind the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry "Mallari," and produced by GMA Pictures and Clever Minds Inc. Barbie is also set to star in the upcoming series "Beauty Empire" alongside Kyline Alcantara, Ruffa Gutierrez and South Korean actor Choi Bo Min.
